Great place to stay at Getsemany!
It was nice place to stay. Design and hotel style were very cool! Kind staffs and cozy room at the first floow. At first floor, there's no sun light. So I had to turn on the light all day. Although, everything was satisfactable. If I visit Cartagena again, I definately, will stay here again. Getsemany에서 묵기 좋은 위치에 있어요. Trinity 광장과도 가깝고, 올드타운 시계탑까지도 도보 10분 내외 거리입니다. 올드타운과 헷세마니 나눠서 묵어도 좋을거 같네요. 호텔 디자인이 너무 예뻤고, 방이 넓진 않은데, 천고가 높아서 시원시원한 느낌이었어요. 호텔은 아무리 좋아도 뭔가 불편한 느낌이었는데 여기서는 정말 편안하게 있었습니다. 직원분들도 너무 친절했어요.

Great place to stay at Getsemany!
It was nice place to stay. Design and hotel style were very cool! Kind staffs and cozy room at the first floow. At first floor, there's no sun light. So I had to turn on the light all day. O hotel é excelente, super charmoso e fica no centrinho de Cartagena. Não chegamos a usar o rooftop e suas comodidas por tempo. O quarto em 2 andares é muito bonito e extremamente confortável. A localização é estratégica para fazer as coisas a pé lá. Porem distante de praias ( ai precisara de carro, não recomendo taxi) O hotel é bastante charmoso O restaurante é maravilhoso com ótimos pratos e opções. Staff cordial e boa variedade de comidas e drinks ( sobretudo os mariscos). 3 de 5 cifrões diria. Sobre o quarto é em 2 andares. Achei que o chuveiro deixou um pouco a desejar. O quarto é um pouco perigoso para quem esta com crianças pequenas por conta da escada, mas administrável. Espaçoso e com espaço para trabalhar tambem, Ficamos com um que tem janela para a rua, silencioso e ajuda a complementar a atmosfera. Recomendo !!!!

Hotel was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. Neighborhood was a mess (due to holidays). Room's security box didn't work and we never got hot water in the shower. Open ceiling above bathroom allowed for too much noise from the street to be heard.

Casa Lola is beautiful, I highly recommend it. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food in the restaurant is delicious. I absolutely love their piña coladas. Would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately our stay with Casa Lola was disappointing. The room was dark, musty and dirty. We found cockroaches in the room multiple time during our stay. We did mention about cockroaches to front desk and we were asked to speak with manager next morning about cockroaches. The front desk did not offer to change room or offered any help. Plus, language barrier makes it difficult to communicate. We booked this place based on previous good reviews and location however, both failed. Location- this hotel is in Gestamani neighborhood which is not inside the wall. You will have to cross sketchy street to get to old city so it’s better to stay inside the old city. Another disappointing fact is Expedia has this hotel as VIP, which makes me not want to believe in Expedia VIP anymore. The few good things- good breakfast, few friendly staff and plants around the breakfast area. I would not recommend this hotel, we ended up spending most of our time out of the hotel. There are better option in old city.

Had a great stay here, it felt like staying in a artsy green mansion. Rooms were spacious with high ceilings and well decorated. Staff was helpful and attentive. Area outside was busy with vendors and crowds, but we liked the excitement, and even the front most room was quiet.

Amazing Stay.
This was amazing stay. A true hidden gem in the city! Walking distance from many shops and eateries. I will return soon. The hotel provided me with reasonable upgrades which included the presidential suite. This place comes highly recommended.

We wanted to like this hotel and acknowledged good potential, but I did not like it and will not return Good Nice gem feeling decor Comfortable mattress Breakfast (many choices, long hours) Bad Room very small Run down and some not properly working Bugs. A lot of ants and found a roach in room Excessive noise during the night Pool bar never opened We requested to change the room bec of loud music at night and toilet didn't flash right. Door knob had sharp nail sticking out and that hurt my husband hand once. Next room was even smaller with tiny tiny bathroom, and there are a lot of ants and got huge bug bites during the night. Small leaks throughout in bathroom which we didn’t even mention it anymore as we were leaving next day. Perhaps we got bad luck for the rooms we were assigned but will not return. We stayed during the weekend but pool bar was never opened. Staff was nice. Spa was good. Food was ok.

This hotel is located in the Getsemani district of Cartagena which is incredibly artsy. We visited with our teen and had a blast! The staff were incredible and helpful with all of our planning.

This hotel is a little hidden gem in the Getsemani area of the walled city. Definitely something to consider if you want a unique experience away from the cookie cutter high capacity hotels. The rooms are all unique and I appreciate the design and feel. If there's a specific room design you want from the pictures, I guess it would be good to try requesting it ahead of time. Ours was in a bit of a noisy area between the two eating areas but things quiet down and it didn't bother us when it was time to sleep. My only complaint was that there was a window next to the stairs up to the pool with a semi transparent curtain - not sure how much privacy we had there depending on the lighting conditions. The rooftop pool area has several semi private sections to hang out in. I didn't even notice the different areas the first time dropping in. The hotel restaurant was good and the overall environment was great to hang out in. The main front staff was friendly and were able to speak with us in English.

Great location but some problems
We rented 4 rooms. They were all dark, windowless, and small with a strong odor. We never had hot water in one of the rooms even though we complained to the hotel staff. Otherwise, the location was great and the hotel was stunningly beautiful.

No pudimos alojarnos, mi Padre esta en una clinica desde el 28 de noviembre soy acompañante permanente , por lo cual no pude viajar , pero las politicas de alojamiento es no reembolso. Me parece terrible que con una situacion de estas no tengan devolucion, la aerolinea realizo reembolso total y la pasadia que tenia en Tierra bomba nos dejo abierta las fechas
