Was looking for something for a quick overnight stay. Did the job nicely although the music from the saturday night's entertainment from the hotel did make it difficult to get to sleep

Great location, huge space & will be back again
A last minute stay saw me staying at The Bayview. Great location in regards to transport and multiple restaurants around if you do not feel like good pub food which Bayview do offer. Also, was nice that it was right on the water's edge. The room was huge, and nice to have a little balcony area. While there was a little bit of noise from the ventilation vents, this stopped by midnight. Overall, I will definitely return.

Good facilities but fan only had one speed (fast). Had to leave window open. Lower floor guests noisy (sitting outside) ALL night until daylight.

I didn't know that the bathrooms where outside on the corridor when I booked the room last minute but they were actually ok. We still had a washbasin and fridge in the room which was good to have. That actually made up for it. Overall, it was all clean and a good price for the 3 of us. I would book it again. Thank you

Room was ridiculously hot, fan barely did anything. Loud music till 2pm - yes it's a hotel but you don't expect not to be able to sleep. Couldn't get the TV or WiFi to work. Very small room but at least it was clean. We were lucky to get the last carpark available as it was shared with the Hotel patrons. Multiple time over a couple of days there was only 1 or 2 parks available.

You didn’t give me the details of my booking. When I contacted you , you said I didn’t have a booking with you although you had taken my money. The hotel is in lockdown so of course when I rang them, no one was there to answer. So I have referred all this to PayPal. I need my money back or a voucher for use when this lockdown is over. I am very cranky the only response I got when I contacted you was there was no booking. There was no way I could contact you except questions that didn’t apply to my problem. Very sad Jillie Barrie.

Firstly there was no parking available. Second, the check-in itself was tedious. There are 2-3 pubs in the building and it’s not very clear, where to go for accommodation check in. Finally when found, it’s in one of the corners of a very loud pub, really annoying. Room was not very appealing. I could not sleep at all. Tons of noise coming from the pubs. The ceiling fan kept making a headache causing ‘tuk tuk’ noise as if someone typing super loudly on their iPhone. Even the window blind, made a continuous disturbing noise due to the wind. The Bayview hotel/motel looked great for pubs.. but not recommended for stay.

Nice Pub good environment. Food was absolutely disgusting over priced ordered the T-Bone Surf n Turf was cooked how I asked it to be but it was like eating rubber and had a foul taste and smell so I didn’t eat it . Had natural oysters they were nice but the oyster kilpatric was not nice as the bacon was to hard to chew . The room was very loud due to the music going on downstairs and didn’t finish until 2am so didn’t get much sleep at all . Overall I won’t be back that’s for sure !!

The Mitel room are great for the price you pay newly renovated En-suite in the room. Food and atmosphere in the pub for dinner and greats was amazing fir a Monday night

Long weekend
It's important to remember how many stars a place has when writing a review. The Bayview hotel is listed as a 3 star property and that's what it is. We got the large room so that we wouldn't have to share a bathroom with anyone else. The shower could do with a bit of TLC... mouldy silicone grout, the shower door squeaks (a bit of WD-40 wouldn't go astray). We were given plenty of towels, coffee, black tea, cookies etc. The room had a mini fridge, kettle, toaster, ironing board, iron and airconditioning. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were old and flat (you had to use two for it to be as thick as one regular pillow). The location is convenient for the busses, train, walks etc.

Great hotel right in the middle of everything. Pub downstairs has great food. Rooms are super clean and the shared bathroom is no drama. Will stay again when I'm in town.

Where do I start I have so many complaints firstly I booked the 16th and was given the 30th I told them it was wrong and wanted a refund but no it didn't come so I went on 30th told them the room I book was not the one they gave me was not happy so we stayed and had dinner the food and service was excellent my friends told us not to stay we had payed for it so we were thinking about staying then decided no we won't going to put the key in the box that night my husband fell in the car park two very nice staff men picked him up he was injured badly so we went to our friends house her daughter is a nurse and for 2hours it took to patch him now he can hardly walk and has a broken wrist, everyone will hear about this I will tell people not to book there what you see is not what you get and no refund so you see I am not happy at all to pay for something and not use it is discussing,beautiful place WoyWoy just don't book a room at the Bayview Hotel, Lynn

Very convenient to shops. But they need a place for residents to sit and eat with a microwave. It does have a restaurant but not everyone can pay every night for a meal. No facilities for making a simple breakfast.
