We stayed 3 nights at the premium garden suite. Our stay was very enjoyable, beach area was great for swimming and relaxation. Animation team provided a variety of activities during the day, enjoyed dancing on the beach and wanted aerobics. Hotel staff was great. Morning breakfast was good, service was excellent and especially by our hostess Ioanna. Rooms do not have iron boards/ irons. When we requested it, we were told it is a service for fee, resort staff would do ironing for us. 5 euro per item. We did not like that. Also, dinner buffet was plain, no coffee tea service even for fee, no water, you could not bring your water bottle either. Other than that, we had a great time. We rented a car and enjoyed dining at seaside villages nearby.

Nice accommodation but not worth the money.
Nice location but check in was a sit & wait as there was only 1 Tablet to check in, they served a welcome drink. Then we were driven to our Jr suite seafront room which was not the same as booked, (ground floor beachfront access room, per pictures & description) but they tried putting us on the 2nd floor, they said we didn’t specify the room in our booking (there was no option to choose from). They eventually corrected the issue, but tried to make us wait another 30 min to refresh the room, we declined (but had to insist) they finally agreed, hence our check in took 2 hrs & was rather exhausting n stressful. The room was ok, the AC was disabled only fan option (we had to insist AC) the running toilet was an issue but was fixed, lots of mosquitoes came w the room & somehow kept finding their way in, no coffee/tea/ water (it’s only for luxury Rooms, but after asking they provided Nescafé coffee). The breakfast buffet was elaborate & food in the Tavern was wonderful, except for smelling smoke while eating. The complimentary drinks we had (after we complained about the smoking neighbors) tasted like powder mix, wine was below par for the by glass options. The non stop smoking of other guests is an issue, as a non smoker, the only smoke free place is the room, as a hotel they should provide safe environments for all guests, which should mean no smoking on balcony, restaurants (including outdoors), beaches & common areas. The staff was very nice, surprised me w a birthday cake.

Eigentlich war alles tip top. Leider hatten wir eine Suite mit Poolview und Schatten, das gefiel uns weniger. Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit top. Essen sogar für Vegi ausreichend variabel. Ich hätte es gerne etwas griechischer, authentischer gehabt, aber da muss man wohl eher in ein kleineres Hotel.

everything was great. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are big and clean, we even got an upgrade and had a room with a sea view on the ground floor of the building. The food is excellent, the selection is large, we have no complaints. The beach is beautiful. We are very satisfied.

Great stay, hotel can be ‘greener’
Amazing staff, good quality of the food (overall) and nice facilities, mini market with fair prices. Just get rid of single use plastics please! In my view, you can’t be a sustainable hotel and serve water exclusively from bottles and hand out plastic gloves in masses.

Dated and Inexperienced
The hotel is old and it shows. The main restaurant and one of the three buildings have not been renovated. Pool bar and roof top restaurant also dated. Generally, they will need to improve all the spaces and renovate everything! The other important aspect they were really bad at is service. People were helpful a lot but very inexperienced. Some even not professional at all. And for some reason almost every time at any restaurant the food would be late (45-60 minutes wait between courses!).

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful position on the beach. The staff make this place welcoming and do everything possible to meet the needs of the guests with lots of great ideas for how to spend time on vacation. Great selection of restaurants, piano bar and beachside bar - perfect for couples or families like us on vacation (2 adults 2 children 11 & 13 years old)

This was my first time in Greece and it was an amazing experience. All the staff at the Anthemus have made my stay wonderful, from the beginning I have received an upgrade on my room which was a really great way to start my holiday. The food was very good too, both at the main restaurant and the other two on the beach. The beach has fine sand and the water is shallow from about 30m from the shore which is good for small children and people who don’t swim like me. The hotel is family friendly , but that is fine as is was very quite. Overall I highly recommend it to anyone!!!

Von der ersten Minute an Erholung pur! Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und herzlich. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle! Trotz der besonderen Situation, die größte Herausforderung lag eher bei den Mitarbeitern, fühlten wir wir uns sehr wohl und sicher! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und sehr abwechslungsreich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

It was a great experience of having full service in every way! Great breakfast and dinner, staff that made you feel comfortable and safe! Great sunsets, nice big room nice decorated and with all your needs! There is a lot to say but in short if you want to relax you have to visit Anthemus Sea!!

Absolutely superb place to relax with a family! Much attention to detail in both lodging and services. The bay is shallow, which makes it fun for kids. Even around the corona craze, top-notch observation of distancing in dining and beaching. My hat is off to the management of this place!!!

Definitely recommended - especially with kids
Perfect for a family with kids. Having too many kids around, may be bothering for adults with no kids. It would be great to have a “adultd-only beach area”.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Liegt zwar ab vom Schuss, aber für Ruhesuchende ideal. Die Anlage liegt direkt an einer großen Badebucht!

Sehr schöne Anlage. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, unsere Junior Suite war frisch renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen entsprach internationalen Standards. Die Zielgruppe sind wohl mehr Familien mit Kindern und weniger "Aktivurlauber". Es wäre gut, wenn man z.B Fahrräder ausleihen könnte, um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden.

Excellent hotel. We will go back to it
Everything is organized to perfection in this hotel! The restaurant is the best we have seen everywhere in Greece so far. We felt so good!!! We only have two small remarks to make: 1) In our apartment (#508), the upstairs small room was hard to use for sleeping due to lack of ventilation and the noise of an outside machinery and uncomfortably hard matreses. 2) The pools open at 10am and close at 7pm. Outside of this hours the pool is literally closed. No jumping or diving allowed also. For families with kids, this seems excessive

Wunderbares Familienhotel
Sehr schönes Hotel an feinem Sandstrand. Die Lage ist perfekt für Familien, da das Meer an dieser Stelle ganz ruhig und flach ist und man ca. 50 m weit hineinlaufen kann und einem da Wasser immer noch gerade mal bis zum Oberschenkel reicht. Die Strand liegen sind nicht extra zu zahlen, sondern inklusive, was in dieser Region nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Anlage ist relativ klein, was uns aber gut gefällt, da wir keine riesigen Bettenburgen mögen. Das Essen im Restaurant war fantastisch und die Auswahl reichlich. Morgens gab es eine Station mit frischem Orangen- und Multifruchtsaft, die vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet wurden. Die Speisen waren abwechslungsreich und es waren immer griechische Spezialitäten dabei. Das Personal sehr freundlich und professionell, und die Shows des Animationsteams Abends waren sehr gut. Für Kinder wird auch viel geboten. Bisher das beste Hotel, das wir in dieser Region besucht haben, und wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal hier. Daumen hoch!

Только для отдыха с маленькими детьми.
Отель очень хорош для отдыха с детьми дошкольного возраста - очень хороший вход в море. Но взрослым на мой взгляд не очень комфортно. Мы например купались здесь всего один раз. Да и детям школьного возраста на мой взгляд здесь будет скучно. Номера просторные, отлично оборудованные. Но часть номеров (нам такой и дали на 1м этаже) с видом на стену (забор).

Nur für Familien mit Kindern
Wlan funktioniert in Zimmern nicht. Familienhotel mit sehr vielen Kindern. Für Ruhesuchende komplett ungeeignetes Hotel. Sehr gut für Familien mit Kindern
