Our rooms were just great. The staff is lovely - welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The location couldn’t be better. But… OMG, the music in the breakfast room was punishing and left us all in foul moods.

The Excelsior has to be the nicest hotel in Thessaloniki. Great attention to detail in all aspects; service, design, …. Location is right in the heart of the posh downtown area. Excellent breakfast buffet spread plus custom made options.

Our room had a nice big balcony. Breakfast was wonderful. You can walk to many restaurants and sites from this hotel. The staff at this hotel is some of the most polite, professional and friendly employees that we have ever had at a hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and service
This was a very brief stay, so I was unable to enjoy the lovely breakfast this time, but the hotel was as good as I remembered. Warm welcome from helpful staff and the rooms are comfortable and well--appointed.

Mooi hotel, niet te groot. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Goed ontbijt, fijn bed. Enige nadeel, als we dan iets moeten noemen, was dat er ‘s ochtends toch vrij veel licht uit de badkamer kwam via de glazen deur waardoor we relatief vroeg wakker werden.

Luxury in the centre
24 hr break Allowed us time to take hop on off bus twice. Welcome reception. Rooms are boutique so little space for 22kg bags if part of a holiday. Marvellous breakfast buffet. Lively area with bars but windows and drapes shield the noise. Very convenient for waterfront stroll

This is a great hotel and I would recommend a stay here. The staff can’t do enough for you, the rooms are a great size and packed with really cool features, including multiple charging points, modern bathroom facilities and electronic do not disturb signs. A great hotel; in a great location.

Perfect location – Prefect room - Perfect breakfast and dining room staff – enjoyed every min. There is always things to improve… though all in all – I highly recommend.

Hem temizlik hem de konfor açısından mükemmel bir oteldi. Konumu çok çok iyi. Çalışanlar çok yardımsever ve çok güleryüzlü. Sabah çok erken çıkacağımız için kahvaltı yapamayacaktık. Bize harika bir kahvaltı çantası hazırlamışlardı. Bir arkadaş tavsiyesi ile keşfettiğimiz bu oteli biz de herkese tavsiye ediyoruz.

Best hotel in Thessaloniki!
Hands down, the best hotel you'll find in Thessaloniki!! This is the most loveliest, kindest, cleanest, spacious, most conveniently situated and comfortable hotel in the area! The junior suite was incredible. The complimentary breakfast is exceptional. They offer both menu items and ample buffet options. The staff is unbelievably friendly! By the end of our 5 days, I felt like they were all my friends. Yelena provided an amazing check-in process and assisted us with many options and recommendations during our entire stay (especially things to do while it was raining for a few days). Multiple staff urged us to take the 55 minute drive to Chalkidiki (to the first leg) and WOW was it worth the taxi ride. Such a beautiful beach close enough but far enough for a different experience! We CANT WAIT to stay here again!!

From arrival to departure this Hotel made my holiday My room was well appointed with a large balcony and good views The breakfast was excellent and all the staff I encountered friendly and helpful I have to say this is the best Hotel experience I have had in Europe and I certainly would recommend it and hope to return myself one day
