Upon arriving to Silver Sands Motel to check in i was greeted with a genuine positive very friendly face. Great customer Service Skills from gentalman who checked me in. It was a very safe relaxing ora all together the 2 days i was there. Not sure i have any disikes but i did find i was kinda bummed out when i had to check out and return home. I definitly will be spending a lot of my vscTions at the Silver Sands Motel in Florence Oregon.

The heater was broken we called they tried to fix it with a oil heater it did not heat the room. The toilet was rocking not solid on the ground. I asked for money back they said no. I then asked for another room as I have had breast cancer and cannot stand the cold they did send us to another room. Both rooms were dirty. There was pubic hair in the bathroom and towles had hair on them we had our own blankets so we used them. The second room took 5 hours to get warm. Will not stay again.

I am writing for 4 of us. The rooms were dirty, the bedspreads smelled dirty, dirty washcloths in one bathroom, no shower mat for safety in the other bathroom, wrappers on the floor, pop bottle tops on the floor behind a nightstand when I was looking for a plug outlet for my CPAP, laundry running all night below one of our rooms, one chair for 2 adults to sit on in the room. I would never recommend this motel.

shuttle service was great. a leak in ceiling above bathroom sink was very disturbing. The doorknob was hanging loose. floors were dirty.

Not good, Bed comfortable. Cringeworthy
The room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled of old smoke and when I asked they said oh thats a good room it should be fine. They finally sprayed some anti smoke in the room and it smelled like old man cologne, They had some old trim next to the tub and the floor was dirty by that. Manager was not helpful and condescending. The young man who was the clerk was very nice. Will never stay there again!!

This is what 115$ can by. Dirty bathrooms, moldy showers, dirty floors They need better cleaning staff, would make it worth the money.

this appears to be a typical Patel Motel, poorly maintained, dirty, count the former holes in walls and doors patched/not patched, After fixing the "adventurous" sliding toilet seat because the front desk "couldn't", once I secured the toilet seat so I didn't slide, it came to my attention that the toilet didn't flush well enough to risk "it". They gave is a different room. Sigh. Much the same. Oh well.....

if you need a pet friendly spot, this could be the place for you, but otherwise probably steer clear. Our room smelled like dog and had dog hair on the chair. We didn't use the shower because it didn't feel clean. It was great that we got a roof over our heads at the last minute but if it weren't an emergency, I never would have stayed here.

rate was 6x what it should have been
No AC in room, no fan no temp control at all made it a terrible experience. $170 a night and there just wasn't any value

Pretty run down place. The towels are threadbare, bathroom floor was rotten. But overall the staff kept it clean.

The room did not appear to have been vacuumed thorough as there was dog food from the last pet. There were holes in blanket on one bed and less than half roll of toilet paper on the roll. In there shower the knob was gone to turn it on just sharp metal to grab. No cover on the fan either.

The property is run down. The stair railing was loose. The room did not look like it was cleaned, there were stains on the carpet, bedding and walls. It looked like there was blood on the outside of the door and on the walkway. We ended up leaving without staying because we were so uncomfortable in the room.

The staff was great. It was an easy check in process. There were different stains around the room that made us feel dirty. The toilet didn’t flush and there wasn’t any ac.

Needed a family suite for a few nights while we visited and played on the different beaches along the Oregon coast. Not looking for anything fancy and this motel.worked ok. Wasnt expecting it to be so warm.along the coast ans certainly got NO warning at any time that there was NO air condioner in our room ... a trip to Walmart and a small box fan made the next few nights tolerable. Yes, I.might stay there again but definitely bring a fan! And would not book thru Expedium.

I give this hotel an overall rating of one star because it had running water, electricity and was bug and rodent free. I would only recommend this hotel if you needed shelter to get out of a rainstorm to stay dry and no other place was available. The room was not just ‘worn’, the room was absolutely trashed with holes in the wall and flooring and white paint splattered everywhere.

Good affordable option for family vacation!
This was an affordable, quiet, safe place to stay during our family vacation to the coast. Check in was easy and fast. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful! Top notch service! The rooms were a little on the older side and could be updated but everything worked fine. Close to lots of places to eat, close to the dunes, sandboard rentals, the beach and Old Towne. Front desk staff had good recommendations on places to visit and eat. Would stay there again!

Basic but nice
Basic Motel great for a place to rest your head. Service was friendly and if you like cats and get greeted by Skittles the cat give him a pet. He will be very happy.

The room wasn’t clean. Scum in the tub and shower curtain. Dust on microwave, countertop, sand on floor (we added more I’m sure). Overall the place needs to be updated.
