This property offerw elegance without opulence. It feels cozy, the food is delicious, the staff all go out of their way to make you feel at home. The hot tub is wonderful after a cold day of skiing or a walk.

Lovely and relaxing inn
Echo lake inn is a cosy bed and breakfast a few miles from Okemo ski resort. It has a lovely character with a shared sitting room with a fireplace and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a few days skiing and it was a lovely respite after a day on the slopes. The breakfast was great and there was a games room downstairs with a pool table etc. The only drawbacks are there is no elevator and not a lot of hot water for showers at times. The surroundings are very pretty and it would be a lovely location at all times of the year. There are a number of fun restaurants a short driving distance away.

Great food but cold showers
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The food was superb. The wait staff in the dining room had to close the curtains to warm up the room even when they said the thermostat was set to 80 degrees. The bedroom was warm. The mattress sunk in the middle. The manager told us when we arrived that the plumbing was iffy and we may get cold water from time-to-time. He said the plumber was coming the next day. The showers were cold throughout our 3 day stay. We would recommend the restaurant.

Such a unique experience! I got to recharge- the inn keepers were so friendly and welcoming- you felt like you were at home! So close to Okemo - a 5 min drive.. food amazing.. a great hot breakfast !!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were comfortable, it is close to Okemo and everyone was very friendly. We also enjoyed a great breakfast and splurged for dinner. We hope to return.

We loved the people, the food and the pub. It was very quaint and homey. The room was just okay and the bed was very uncomfortable. The water pressure was terrible.

Hi James Thank you for your review. We have identified and corrected the issue with our hot water. It is no longer an issue. Unfortunately thing just wear out in this 200 year old building, and it always seems to happen in the winter

This is an old historic inn. Lots of original features. Beds were very comfy. Food was delicious. Wish the hot tub was working after a long day of skiing. Staff was very attentive.

Hi April' Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the amenities and cuisine. Sorry about the Hot Tub occasionally some of our younger guests splash a little to much, so it takes a few hours to get the tub back on line.

Okemo Ski Trip
First time here, very satisfied. Historic Inn was perfect for our 2 day ski trip. Good in restaurant is excellent. Staff was great.

Great Inn
Stayed at the Inn for 2 nights and loved it. The room was great. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner. Loved the atmosphere and staff. It was in a very peaceful location. Would stay here again!

Baby Shower in Vermont
The location was perfect for us as my daughter lives about 5 miles away. She already had a houseful, so this was nice for us to get away from the activity. We were also close to where the shower was being held.

Cozy, friendly and al you could want in an inn
We felt so welcomed! My husband skied and the dog and I relaxed. couldn't do much outside due to a big snowstorm but we will be back in the summer!

Great location and breakfast
Very friendly staff, attentive service, great included breakfast (not your typical continental breakfast, but much nicer), great location, room was clean and nice enough.

Room was suppose to be deluxe - was so tiny! Bathroom tiny old shower stall with a old shower head no water pressure. No hooks to hang ski clothes / no where to sit but the bed. Old quilt smelled. Checkin couldn't fine my reservation.

Wonderful charming VT Inn; gourmet on-site dining.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely overnight at the Echo Lake Inn this weekend. It is a delightful bed and breakfast with a terrific staff. We had all the benefits of a hotel room with en suite bathroom, toiletries, hair dryer, and all of the charm of a country inn with common space such as a fireplaced living room and quaint tavern. The location is within easy reach of Ludlow and Killington so is a perfect destination for skiers. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner Tom. We ate dinner and breakfast at the inn and both were absolutely delicious. My husband and I spend a lot of time in New York City and the quality of the food was on a par with the high end restaurants there. Our waiter Kyle provided excellent service and our breakfast chef was welcoming and very accommodating with changes to the printed menu. In total, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn and highly recommend it.

Old world charming Inn
Average room with no frills. No elevator so be prepared to walk up two floors with suitcases. No closet for clothes hanging, small bathroom and no connection to reception. More like bed and breakfast type. Rooms are close to route 100 and automobile and bike noise is an issue. Charming old style Inn with great location. Free breakfast was great. Small 14 inch TV in the room with cable.

Charming historical inn minutes from ski center.
As this is a historical inn, there is a sitting room, restaurant, and lounge area on the main floor. All rooms are on the upper floors without elevators. They have many nice touches including fresh flowers, book shelves on each floor, and beautiful rockers on the front porch. Outdoor pool, hot tub, access to rowboats & canoes, beautifully landscaped yard perfect for stargazing at night. Less than 10 minutes to Okimo ski center. Comfortable king and queen beds in a large room.

They very generously upgraded us to a jacuzzi and fireplace room on 1st floor when they noticed my husband was having trouble with stairs to our original 3rd floor room.

The age of the property appealed to us. The staff was too busy to welcome us warmly as I feel an Inn staff should be prepared to do. Our room was a comfortable size for one night but a closet would have been nice.

Great service, fantastic food, quaint
Stayed during a drive across New England for a leaf-peeping fall foliage tour. The inn was frankly a little dated in decor, but was clean and also had a certain country charm. The service was exceptional - from the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we had the full attention of the staff. We ate dinner at the restaurant inside the inn. And we were extremely glad that we did! The meal was our best of our week-long trip. The bread pudding was simply the best I have ever had. The friendly service and exceptional food make this a very pleasurable experience. We'll be back!

Quick getaway
Had a great overnight stay in well maintained and presented inn. Very friendly and professional service - only negative was apparent focus on gratuities - mentioned at check-in, posted on menus and brought up by staff. Pity as took away from otherwise pleasant stay.

Beautiful inn. People there so charming and welcoming. My husband and I stayed there in 2004 and again in 2013. Lovely rooms. Ours had a spa. Delicious dinner and breakfast. You can't go wrong by choosing the Echo Lake Inn.

主人讲究细节，处处体现待客的精心。早餐美味，伴随着亨德尔的音乐，一种享受和惬意。
虽然，整栋楼只有我们一行六人，因为还没有到旅行的旺季，但是，主人给我们换到了最高的CONDO去住，三间房间一个客厅，宛然一个大家庭。真是很棒，墙上的画，餐厅的装饰都足以体现主人的品味和热爱生活的态度。我是第一个去这个酒店的中国人，我会介绍更多的人去。
