AMAZING staff so helpful and kind, everything was clean and well thought out. Lots of dining options nearby and the bus station (to and from chania - ab 20 min) is super convenient, 1 min walk away from hotel. Food was yummy but the restaurant for dinner could use more options. Everyone was very friendly and we had an amazing time. Beach chairs are limited and need to be paid for (keep in mind).

Et veldig gjennomsnittlig hotell, som markedsfører seg bedre enn det er. Bildene svarer ikke til forventningene. Delux-delen, som de kaller det, har fine bassenger og deilig solsenger. Resepsjonisten var rask å påpeke at vi ikke bodde der, men at vi var heldige og kunne få bruke området. Solsengene på stranden må du betale for. Den eldre delen av hotellet fremstår som noe sliten, det samme med rommene. Badet er klart for oppussing, med lite trykk i dusj og vask, samt en konstant klam lukt. Stenger du vinduet kan det kjennes kloakklukt. Servicen er varierende. Barpersonalet var hyggelig, men resepsjonen bærer preg av en gjeng ansatte som har betjent charterturister litt for lenge og som ikke er på tilbudssiden. Lite imøtekommende og løsningsorienterte. Ble også vitne til at en gjest nærmest ble kjeftet på av resepsjonisten fordi han hadde forlagt nøkkelen sin og ville sjekke om den var innelåst på rommet. Vi ble heller ikke spurt om hvordan vi hadde hatt det, eller om vi trengte transport videre ved utsjekk. Kommunikasjonen besto av her er ditt utestående beløp og her er kvitteringen, takk og hei! Fin frokost, og hyggelig kokk. Vi har en feriebolig på Kreta, men synes det er hyggelig med et avbrekk fra familien i noen dager, dessverre kommer vi ikke til å returnere til dette hotellet eller anbefale det videre.

Wir buchten ein Standard Room Gartenview, leider. Das erhaltene Zimmer (Nr. 108, mit Aussicht auf Hecke und Gebäudefassade) enttäuschte durchwegs. Es müffelre, hatte verschimmelte Fugen, die Armaturen waren uralt und ausserdem war es selbst bei Tageslicht sehr dunkel im Zimmer. Wir fühlten uns unwohl, dass wir uns bei der Reception meldeten. Der Service war zwar freundlich und verstand unsere Enttäuschung. Jedoch mussten wir uns selbst eine Lösung ausdenken. So wechselten wir nach einer Nacht in ein Deluxezimmer mit Meersicht (natürlich gegen Aufpreis! Vom Manager gab es nur eine Reduktion von 10€ pro Nacht…). Dieses neue Zimmer war toll und wir fühlten uns wohl. Die Pools sind toll. Jedoch blieb der erste negative Eindruck hängen, weshalb wir dieses Resort nicht mehr buchen würden. Allen anderen empfehlen wir direkt ab Anfang ein Deluxezimmer zu buchen, da diese neuwertig sind. Die Standardrooms entsprechen dem alten amerikanischen Hotelcharakter, was unserer Meinung nach auch nicht mehr zum sonst modernen Hotelresort passt.

Das Hotel bietet einen super Service. Das Frühstück wechselt täglich und es gibt ein großes Angebot am Frühstücksbuffett. Das Zimmer war geräumig und ruhig. Das Hotel bietet drei Pools und hat einen eigen Zugang zum Strand. Der Strand war sehr gepflegt.Im Allgemeinen kann ich nur jedem dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Fint hotell, men veldig stort. Det som trekker ned er elendig wifi tilkobling, maur på rommet og litt dårlig rengjøring. Men, hun som lager omelettene skal ha MYE skryt. Den eneste av de ansatte på hotellet som faktisk sa hei og pratet med gjestene. Tax som betales bør gjøres ved innsjekk, ikke utsjekk.

Lovely place.
Beautiful hotel within a lovely setting. Own beach and pool with bar restaurant. Very tranquil place that you could easiy come alone to and feel right at home. Breakfast much improved and the whole place uplifted. Recommended if in the area or for a week in the sun.

We had the most wonderful vacation at the hotel. We just loved every bit of it and will be mostly happy to come again. It's actually the first time that the photos at the site are less than reality. mostly recommend to stay at the new part of the hotel - at the southern section.

The new pool area was great and the breakfast buffet had a good choice, but so many little things spoiled the stay for us. The hotel is just OK, not quite what it's billed up to be, never felt that welcome there, despite the staff being great and helpful. Had the ambiance of a conference centre and so many penny pinching decisions just left a sour note on our stay. The beds are not queen size, but 2 singles pushed together with one pillow and are not very comfy. Wifi is terrible in the hotel - had to complain a few times, as at some points of the day it's just impossible to get on and it's always dropping off, even the staff were complaining about it. Luckily the hotels and bars either side had good connections, so had to go around there. The beach is great here in Agia Marina, but please use the bar beaches either side, as they are free to use - very disappointed to be charged 10Euros a day to use the beds and umbrella for 2 people, as it is billed a private beach for use of the guests - which was our main reason for our stay there. Was a real stupid move by the hotel to do so, as they lost so much money to the neighbouring beach bars, which served better food and drink at better prices and a lot speedier too. The safe in the room is a joke, trying to charge you to use it and it will only fit in your passport and mobile phone.Just another example of the penny pinching going on. But the worst of it all was that they had a happy hour but only at the top pool area!

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback and your comments are taken under consideration. If you would have asked for a double bed we could arrange a double bed for your stay. Not all our rooms have double beds but even the ones that have twinds, can be arranged as a double. There are extra pillowes in the cupboard and even if you need more, our maids would have brought you if just asked! As for the Wi-Fi, yes we faced several connection problem because of our provider which we face it too as you mentioned. The beach charge comes with some extra services which are not mentioned at your feedback, like daily fragranted refreshing face towels, face sun care and hydration care from our spa staff, a refreshing treat once a day. Yes, we may be a bit more expencive but we offer ONLY branded liquors and the happy hour is for some reason only at one of the bars, which is just to introduce the new wing to all our guests.

The greater newer part of the hotel is across the street from the Beach. So, most of the photos are from that property - the pools and Jacuzzis, and views of the Sea and mountains. On the Sea side of the property there are : Reception, Dinning and outdated "economy style" Beach area, and the original pool that also needs to be both redesigned and resurfaces to qualify for at least for "4 stars". The dinning Staff extremely unprofessional- do not recall all the names but one stands out most "Lola". Receptionist and Concierge, and Security - all one person, I would guess that they are currently undermanned. The over-all feeling - 4 star property with 3 star services.

The ones accross the road are the Deluxe ones and almost double priced than the economy ones for some reason. hotel espectacular en la misma playa. Bien situado, cerca de restaurantes y a solo 15 minutos en coche de Chania. Varias piscinas para poder disfrutar del sol y servicio de hamacas de pago en la playa. Parking en la calle gratis y sin dificultad de encontrar plazas libres. Hotel muy nuevo y habitaciones amplias y modernas. Muy recomendable

Det är tre-stjärningt och därför är vi jätte nöjda, jätte charmig personal som gör sitt jobb och får en att känna sig hemma. Rummen är något uttaderade och sofforna är nog högläge att byta ut. Sängarna är ok det som är kul är att det finns en dusch och badkar…så ingen kö när man ska duscha efter badet. Hotellet har en egen strand i direktanslutning vilket är bekvämt, inte den vackraste av stränder men funkar utmärkt för lata dagar, längst stranden finns olika vattensporter typ jetski. Vi var nöjda

Got an upgrade to one of the new "deluxe" apartments. Everything was in an amazing condition and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Strand. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade was und sehr freute. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Es gibt genügend Pools und das Meer ist sehr schön dort. Das Essen war super lecker. Das Feühstück war schön hergerichtet und man bekommt auch Sachen die es woanders nicht gibt. Wir hatten Halbpension was eine sehr gute Entscheidung war da wir jeden Abend ein 4-Gänge-Menü am Strand bekamen. Das Essen war lecker mit sehr großen Portionen. Die Corona Vorschriften sind sehr gut umgesetzt, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben. Wir können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Good location on the beach in Agia Marina and comfortable rooms. Breakfast area ok with some outside seating. Covid 19 precautions taken seriously so safe environment.

Amazing pools and the sunbeds were the most comfortable one's I've ever used. Rooms were very modern with exceptional quality bedding and pillows. Breakfast buffet was a very high quantity with plenty of choices and exceptional survive. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful with any requests.

Relaxing holidays @ Atlantica
Hotel fully in line with expectations including views, food and service. Still, of all hotels visited in the region (4 during our 2 week holiday), this one decided to clean rooms only every second day, ironically “because of COVID”. All other hotels visited cleaned every day during COVID. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay, the service and tranquility!

Thank you for your feedback. According to the Greek govement Covid-19 protocol we should not enter guests rooms at all during their stay here. We decided that this cannot be done and we enter the rooms every second day. I accept that there other hotels that keep on cleaning the rooms daily but do they follow all disinfection procols like we do every second day? In any case we are glad that you enjoyed your stay here with us and hope to see you back again soon.
