Relaxing & enjoyable stay
My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and tidy with a good sized kitchenette should you wish to do some cooking yourself during your stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly, we were also able to print all of our documents at reception for the flight home (including all COVID-19 documents!) which was super handy. The breakfasts provided in the mornings where very tasty including different traditional Greek elements each day, having it brought to our room so we could have breakfast in bed was a very nice touch too. The local beach near the hotel is nice and quiet, snorkelling here we saw lots of different fish and even an octopus. We tended to drive most evenings to have dinner in Chania which was only 25mins away. We also drove to Elafonsi and Balos beach and found this hotel location perfect for being closer to these tourist spots. We have to say though that the local beach was actually our favourite because of how peaceful it was. It is a pebble beach which is still comfortable to sit and lay on but if you prefer sand a two min walk along the beach it becomes entirely sandy, we noticed turtle egg spots marked by conservationists along this beach and if we had more time we would have stayed up late to try and see turtles laying for ourselves. Parking was located out the front of the hotel, the road is also so quiet that you could also easily park on the road if the spots were full up although we never had to anyway.

Nice hotel for couples or families
We were warmly welcomed at Theros Hotel. We had a pleasant room beside the pool. Breakfast was great and arrived at our room very punctually each morning. There are a couple of tavernas on the beach within 10-15 minutes walk.The hotel is in quiet surroundings. The owners and all of the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

A pleasant stay
Excellent location if you are contemplating exploring the West of the island. Nice modern building, quiet, very friendly and comfortable. The rooms are spacious but the downside is the bathroom is rather small and compact.

Nice familly hotel
Small family hotel, close to the sea (5 min walk), quiet and very clean. Nice pool area, ideal for families with children. Friendly staff, our stay there was exceptional.

Hotel staff is annoying, there is no restoran.
Hotel staff is annoying, Reception lady and the clean lady werw very loud. Few times they kick us out of the room for the cleaning. No privacy at all. There is no restoran, they bring you breakfast in the room every morning from 8-10h, and every day the same breakfast: bread, 2 boiled eggs, ham and cheese, juice, coffee, sweet bread, small marmelada, butter, grapes and variations: small donuts or small croasans, and sometimes dakos. The best of all are dakos. They can not make omlet, I asked once. Once, the cleaning lady was opening our suitcases and put our staff in it, like she is our mother!!! Final impression is like renting a room in someones apartment.

Nice hotel, friendly staff
Room was clean with a great sea view. Staff were very helpful and always had a smile. Room was cleaned daily and you could tell the owners took pride in their hotel as they could be seen around lunch time out tending to the plants and cleaning the pool area when it wasn't in use. The breakfast brought to the room was very nice and meant we could enjoy breakfast at our leisure on the balcony. Any minor issues were quickly rectified, for example the batteries ran out in the aircon remote. We notified the front desk and batteries were waiting next to our door when we returned. Staff were always friendly and would ask about your day when returning to the hotel. Additional nice little touches were the staff allowing us to charge our devices at the front desk (power goes out when you leave the room) and also we weren't disturbed by the cleaner once (we are late risers) yet the room was cleaned daily. Pool and surrounding area was immaculate.

Hotel come da descrizione. Eravamo in 3 adulti ed affidandoci alle recensioni di altri clienti abbiamo prenotato camera 212. Abbiamo un pò risentito della mancanza di ascensore (per trasporto valigie) ma cmq la stanza è molto bella, spaziosa e comoda. Sufficiente il grado di pulizia. Cambio biancheria ogni 3 giorni. Personale estremamente gentile. Unica pecca i letti: tutti scricchiolano in modo terribile ad ogni minimo movimento! Ed il materasso è durissimo. Per il resto, con un'auto a disposizione, la località è strategica per visitare la zona ovest di Creta e le sue spiagge meravigliose.

Abbiamo deciso di soggiornare qui per la posizione della struttura. Volevamo essere comodi per visitare il nord di Creta. La struttura si trova in una paesino dove c'è supermercato, due bar, un ristorante e una panetteria. Vicina al mare è dotata di wifii in camera ( che prendeva meglio sul balcone) parcheggio esterno e di aria condizionata. La cucina è piccolina ma se dovete cucinare qualche cosa ha tutto. Noi ci siamo trovati bene, il personale gentile e disponibile. Ogni mattina ci portavano colazione in camera quando volevamo noi

Venant de chania, nous avions réserves cet hôtel comme étape avant de partir pour paleochora. Quelle surprise d'arriver dans un endroit aussi calme. Après la route, nous aspirions a piquer une tête dans la piscine...ouverte jusque 20h nous étions seuls dans celle ci quel bonheur! La réceptionniste s'occupait seule de l'hôtel et malgré tout tellement gentille. La chambre nickelle joliment décorée avec un balcon superbe et vue sur la mer. Pour le souper, nous avons optes pour le restaurant rifki cuisine traditionnelle. A conseiller! Et la plus grande surprise, mais pas des moindres, le petit déjeuner en chambre, un plateau énorme, fruits brioches café jus d'orange frais! Génial y'a pas a dire.

Nice, friendly, clean.
We stayed in a few places while in Crete and this was our best stay. The bedroom was only a bit noisy because we were next to the reception and when people arrived we could hear - but only if they were loud. the neighbourhood is quiet and the staff were very friendly.

Positives: The hotel looks very nice, rooms are cleaned daily, change of towels and linen every 3rd day. Bed very comfortable, good quality linen and pillows. Did not use the pool, but it looked very clean and good sized. Tavronitis is not very interesting place but is excellent starting point for exploring the western part of the island, being close to the best beaches, as well as to the city of Chania and the nice little villages. Many good restaurants and other places nearby (like Kolymbari). Very close to the crowded and noisy Platanias and Agia Marina, if you are interested. Negatives: breakfast was very abundant but could be more varied and more domestic food (it was 80% supermarket); pity our bedroom on the ground floor did not have a window (not counting the tiny rear one that had to have curtains all the time, facing the hotel passage) and did not have sea view, but only the pool view from our beautiful balcony. But still, we had and upgrade from a studio to 1 bedroom app. The bathroom is clean but the shower curtain is tedious and of no use since the bathroom floor gets wet and flooded every time. Absolute positives: highly recommended for the extremely kind and helpful staff, especially Antonia, who made us feel very welcome and special and made our stay in Crete unforgettable, so we didn’t care much for the negatives. Thank you again!

Nicht nur eine sehr gute Lage,
Sondern viel besser als gedacht eingerichtet (nur die Dusche...). Strandnah und ruhig. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat: das immer freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Und ein wirklich opulentes Frühstück. Efcharisto - wir kommen gern wieder.

Excellent!!!
Hotel situé dans un petit village, idéal pour se reposer loin des foules de touristes. La plage est à 5min à pied mais attentions c'est une plage de galets. La piscine est superbe, le petit déjeuner est servie dans votre chambre, vraiment surpris de la qualité de cet hotel pour le prix affiché! Places de parking devant l'hotel.

très bel hôtel au calme
Bel hôtel situé à 5 min à pied de la plage dans un quartier calme. Il y a des restaurants dans les environs. La voiture est nécessaire pour se rendre aux différents points d intérêt de la région tels que le lagon de balos ou Chania. Grande chambre de style studio propre et moderne avec balcon donnant sur la piscine. Très bon accueil. Petit déjeuner copieux servi directement dans votre chambre.

Excellent hôtel!
Hôtel situé face à la mer dans un quartier un peu excentré mais très calme (avec pour seuls voisins les biquettes du champs attenant!)! Accueil très chaleureux de la part de la réceptionniste. La chambre que nous avons eu était grande, bien équipée, avec un petit balcon (vue sur piscine et mer!) très agréable pour prendre les petits déjeuner servis dans notre chambre tous les matins (le top!). Seuls petits bémols, le lit (aussi dur qu'une plaque en bois), l'insonorisation entre les chambres, et la douche un peu petite. A part ça excellent hôtel que je recommande vivement et idéal pour visiter la côte ouest de la Crète!

Prima hotel lieve mensen
Zeer aan te bevelen. Wij verbleven hier 5 nachten. Ontbijt hartstikke lekker en helemaal geweldig omdat het op de kamer werd geserveerd . Strand is niet veel aan daarvoor moet je naar de andere kant van het eiland (effe googelen op Milos Kreta) uurtje met de bus. Groetjes Jos

Välskött, avkopplande och trevligt
Vill inleda med att säga att jag är väldigt kräsen vad gäller hotell. Detta uppfyllde dock mina och familjens önskemål i allra högsta grad. Hotellet ligger på behörigt avstånd ifrån myllret och stressen i Platanias men ändå inte längre än att man med lätthet tar sig dit med bil eller buss. Personalen var väldigt mån om att man trivdes och hade överseende med att barnen tjoade i poolen. Städningen var även den bra, rent o snyggt. Finns en strand 5 minuters gångväg ifrån hotellet. En mysig liten strand utan trängsel. Inköp av ett par badskor är dock ett måste eftersom stränderna här på kreta är väldigt steniga, ja, även den på Balos i viss mån. I den lilla byn Tavronitis finns två affärer och några restauranger. Restaurangerna tyckte vi höll bra priser. Hyrbil är ett plus om man som vi gjorde de större matinköpen på Lidl i Platanias. Åker mer än gärna hit igen!

Un accueil formidable. L hôtel est moderne avec des chambres confortables. Une piscine bien entretenue. Le service en chambre est parfait avec un petit déjeuner très complet chaque matin. On a passé un agréable séjour avec la rencontre de personnes formidable au sein de l équipe.

Hôtel calme et familial
Si vous recherchez la tranquillité loin des "usines à touristes", le cadre de cet hôtel est pour vous. Une petite route de campagne vous conduit à la plage qui est à deux pas. L'accueil est chaleureux et le personnel vous conseille sur les activités proposées dans la région. L'hôtel est récent et les chambres sont faites chaque jour. Un grand merci à Roula et Michalis!
