This hotel was very clean and in an extremely convenient location. Great for families. We loved the layout of the suite we stayed in for our kids. The front desk staff were also helpful and friendly.

Every staff member was amazing. From first check in. Food was absolutely wonderful & staff for meals and drinks also top notch. I stayed in 5 hotels in just the month of march. The staff at this stay deserves so much credit that I wish I wrote their names down.

Check-in staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The rooms were fairly clean apart from lots of hairs everywhere, including the towels.

Enjoyed our stay! Took advantage of the Bistro for dinner, enjoyed sandwiches and cocktails as well as a Caesar salad. Staff were very kind and friendly to us and our 12 month old, even asked and brought over some strawberries for her at dinner. Room was clean and spacious. Could tell the property had been remodeled recently. A bonus was the boat parade that went by on 2 sides of hotel for the holidays. Would stay here again!

The GM is friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel like she cared about our experience from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel. She was authentic, knowledgeable and made the stay even more pleasant. Rooms were spacious, clean and everything you’d expect from a Marriott. It was our first trip to Charleston We came for a football game and got to experience Holly Jolly Brawley as a bonus I’d highly recommend it! Love everyone’s Southern Hospitality Would definitely definitely come back

Good standard king room
Clean and fairly well maintained Hotel. Would return. Lots of space in our room with king and cute couch. Our room had some small issues including a weird noise from the bathroom and a light on the sprinkler that flashed through the night, but I reported those and there’ll be Handled.

Location of this hotel is great & the staff were wonderful. The hotel itself is looking tired. We walked to the nearby mall & I was concerned about safety coming back. Our room was clean, but this place needs an update.

Good option for downtown Charleston
Very good experience. Comfortable and clean room. Pretty good exercise room for a hotel. Family friendly and quiet. Convenient to downtown for dining. Only there two nights, but would stay there again for sure. Staff was very helpful and accommodating

The exhaust fan and outlets in the bathroom did not work. The water pressure was very low. The bedding looked worn and not clean. The carpet was coming apart in multiple areas. Very noisy.

Second time Ive stayed here. There was extreme noise all night all 3 nights! The bed was very hard. There is NO free breakfast. The back patio was nice and so was the lobby. Staff were short with me and seemed too busy to bother with my questions.
