Staff eager to please, courteous. Limited dining: no breakfast, had to drive into town to eat. Most local shops, restaurants closed sunday and monday. Stayed in the lodge: room small and uncomfortable. Nice mattress and shower. Resort? - not really.

The natural setting was good. That is were it stops. Room in lodge was dmsll, limited tv channels, two beds but only one chair, ( they refused to give us another chair, nowhere to eat out. Resort restaurant was closed, had to drive 20 minutes to get breakfast. We did fine a great employee who was helpful and solved a couple of our problems. His name is Warren!!

The cabins are lovely. But there are not numerous trails on the property as advertised. It is very remote. There is nothing anywhere near it, so in the winter there is little to do. I also didn’t like a 10:00 a.m checkout, when they ask you to assist in the housekeeping.

I loved the property itself. It is a time share type hotel with cabins, with pools, peace and quiet, a conference room, horses/pastures/barns to board them, golf, putt putt golf, carts, very nice people working there. Only thing that has opportunity for improvement is just upgrade room air conditioners (in the hotel rooms), and put microwaves in rooms, as well as fold out suitcase stands. All else is good. I would definitely stay again if invited or opportunity was open.

Kids love it

This is our second stay here. The first time we stayed in a cabin, this time in the lodge. I definitely recommend the cabins for privacy, quiet, and a kitchen. The lodge is more like a hotel stay, it was fine but we had a problem with noisy neighbors. The kids love the multiple pools, horses, mini golf etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn’t like About they don’t have a restaurant on site. It’s been closed since Covid. But very relaxing and family friendly

Need restaurant onsite.

Very disappointing that there is no restaurant in the lodge. Next closest restaurant is not on property. Very inconvenient. Inquiries did not give a good reason for lack of food. There is a wonderful empty restaurant on site.

We stayed at the main lodge, very clean and friendly staff, no dining area, bar or WiFi, a lot of areas were closed like pools or had limited days and hours like the lake and mini golf,so check before hand on the activities u like to do

Secluded Getaway

This property is perfect for a family getaway; I do mean getaway as it is in a secluded out of the way location. Lots of activities…pools, tennis, basketball, mini golf, horseback riding, catch and release fishing, and a bit more. My only complaint was cabin was not as described and some activities are pricey.

This property is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the lodge and could see the horse pasture from our room. The room we stayed in was quite small/tight but very comfortable and nicely appointed. We were disappointed that the bar/restaurant in the lodge is still not open. So in lieu of that, we ventured out to a local convenience store to buy a bottle of wine and brought it back to the lodge to enjoy on their back porch. We had breakfast at the General Store on our last day. It was delicious. The General Store is perfect and very close to the lodge. Overall, we are looking forward to coming back, maybe in the Fall, and staying in a cabin.

I like that there is a lot of activities on the property. Did not like how long it took to check in then I was given the wrong room ( booked 2 queens and got a king room)

The rooms are so small. This was the worst room I ever stay in. Not even a chair to sit on. The bar and restaurant aren't open and there's nowhere close to eat. We went to the gift shop and the cook called out so we couldn't even get a bagel for breakfast. Be prepared to go hungry if you stay here. Maybe if you get a cabin, you can cook yourself, but that's no vacation.

Our 6th stay; will be our last. No one could give us an honest answer about what we were getting and who was making decisions. We were moved three times, and then we were moved again after learning that the wood-burning fireplace requires electricity during an un-announced "scheduled" power outage.
