We arrived late and the office graciously stayed open until 9:30. The heater fan ran intermittently, couldn't get it to run continuously so we could sleep, so we ended up shutting it off. The Lodge website has no info on amenities so we didn't know if there was a 'fridge or coffee maker

Having seen some negative reviews of this motel, I was leery about what I would find. What I found is nothing like what those bad reviews described. This is a simple, clean place, everything works, perfect for when you just need a place to sleep. There's an all-night convenience store across the road, restaurants are a short drive, although I was content to stay in my room. I would stay there again next time I need to be in that area.

Great little country motel. Bed was on the hard side. But clean and quiet.

This room smelled awful- the paint was peeling in the bathroom and there was just a doorknob lock on the door. Very disappointed!

We are sorry you had a bad experience at our motel. We do wash our bedding regularly and all of our rooms are non smoking. We have checked the room and did not smell anything like cigarettes and alcohol.

Very friendly front desk, room had everything we needed, though very small. Beautiful porch flowers, a quaint town to visit.

The owner was pleasant and helpful with directions ( Map Quest is sketchy, as is the service in the entire area, particularly in Lenox). Our room was spotless. The air conditioner was a bit loud, but all in all, particularly for the very reasonable price, we were happy.

Welcome desk was friendly. Very helpful but I had to go back to office multiple times for room assistance. Lots of dead bugs and dust all over. Bathroom had dead bugs on shelf over toilet and lamp shades and bulbs had dead bugs. Looks newly renovated but still found ants in the bathroom. And just didn’t feel comfortable. In the overnight hours. There was lots of noise in the room above. Banging and dragging.

We brought our own food. The refrigerator and microwave were housed in a wooden structure that had a good-sized counter on top. It was very easy to prepare and serve our meals.

Trip to southern New York for a hunting weekend was a great stay great staff great room and great beds slept very well definitely will use this hotel again

Best thing that can be said- "it is what it is" inexpensive, located near Chatham if you need to be there or work there. Clean enough, but dated bathroom, thin walls and floors

Good for a quick place to stay, but definitely overpriced ($160). The staff is very nice, however, the rooms themselves are really outdated and not the nicest/cleanest feeling. This has nothing to do with the motel, but there are no ubers in the area, and taxis seem to be unreliable. So if you are planning to attend a wedding or an event in the area, be prepared to drive.

This motel was quaint. A bit dated but clean and the bed/pillows were not the most comfortable but for an overnight it was good enough. We had a 1 queen size bed room..Was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker, Fridge and microwave in the room. Decent size TV and good cable. The young lady that checked us in was very pleasant. I stayed in communication with her as we were a later in the evening check in. The gentleman upon check out was also very friendly. They had cool benches between the rooms if you wanted to site outside and also a nice setup of picnic table and another table and chairs on the side of the property. All in all, I would recommend.

Worked well for us!
Good location for us. Room is simple, ok for an overnight. Pair price although hotels.com did not mention an extra $25 for dogs

The property was quite convenient to where we wished to visit- Art Omi. The room was very spacious. There were few amenities on site- wish there were more. The hiosts were very pleasant.

a good base for the area

Beds were hard and uncomfortable, phone didnt work and TV worked randomly. Could use a good cleaning and some updating.

Very reasonable and convenient. Very clean and safe. I was able to get an early check in which I appreciated. Just two miles from village. Would stay there again.

Love this little Motel
I always stay here when I’m up this way in upstate NY. It’s a nice clean simple out of the way motel with mountain views surrounded by nature. The price is right as well. I love this little place! I recommend!
