When did check in time change to 4 pm? We arrived at 2 and had 2 hours to kill before we could check in! Front desk clerk was rude about it too. The room had two doors going to the balcony and window - the shades would not work to drop the curtains did not close! Maintenance came to close the shades and I had to show him where the switch was! Parking was a nightmare! Guests that did not have a handicap tag more mirror hang tag were allowed to take a he handicap parking! This hotel is centrally located for the music venues; the staff was not informative - offering shuttle information, or a ride share would be exceptional service. Over priced for a handicap room.

Breakfast buffet was basic but fine; a type of sausage and form of scrambled eggs, pastries, bagels, little cereal boxes, fruit, waffle makers, juices, it was good. Our kid liked the heated indoor/outdoor pool. Helpful front desk staff. Good location.

We had a huge 150lb dog next door. Barked all the time and also pooped in the hall way which was never cleaned up. The room was nice though

Super convenient location. Great for kids. Across the street from the children’s museum and quick walk to the aquarium. Friendly staff. Clean. One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Chilis and five guys close, among other restaurants. 10/10

Great clean and renovated. Would stay again. This is a more kid friendly hotel so kids were running in the halls. Does have wood floors so it feels cleaner. The room was a little dark. The beds were comfortably and the pillows were nice.

Great location! The only downside to it was that we never had our room cleaned. When we checked in we were notified that they would clean the rooms every other day. We had no problem, but when the day came to have it cleaned, no one showed up. We spoke to the front office person that night and assured us that they would clean it the next day. The same thing happened the next day. We checked in on Wednesday and left on Sunday, so that was the only complaint.

I really liked my stay here. Everyone was nice and the hotel seemed very clean. The breakfast was really good and the Tennessee aquarium is within walking distance. There’s also a children’s museum right next to the hotel. I do recommend this hotel. The only thing I didn’t like is that you have to pay 18$ for parking per night which I feel should be included with the stay.

This hotel says it is dog friendly however they have no area for the dog to go potty. You must cross 2 busy noisy city streets to get to a small patch of grassy area at the science center. It’s downtown so it is also a little unsafe for guests especially at night. I asked the desk clerk at check-in what the policy was for dogs in the breakfast area. I was told that they could not be in the serving/kitchen area but the dinning area was fine. We went to breakfast the next morning and we were going to take turns getting our breakfast. As we were setting down the morning desk clerk came over and told us that our dog could not be there. I explained why we had our dog with us and accepted her decision. We said we would get our food and eat in our room. It was all very embarrassing. As if to make up for it she approached me and our dog while we were waiting in the lobby area for my husband, while he got his breakfast. My dog is a timid type and she was scared by this. It was not the clerks intent to scare my dog, however you would think in a dog friendly hotel it’s staff would be trained on how to interact with a dog and to ask first before approaching. We would not stay here again.

Property location was perfect to take in all of the many different unique attractions downtown Chattanooga offers. The staff was top notch, the property was well maintained. We had a wonderful visit.

Good property
Hampton Inn location was very good. It is near the Riverfront. The property is well kept, and the room was very spacious. We had a suite with a balcony on the fifth floor, and highway traffic was a little noisy, but not unbearable.

The lady who helped me at the front desk check in was very nice and accommodating. Love how big the rooms are. If you are traveling with kids/family, this is a great hotel. The pool is very nice, and heated! The room is comfortable.
