Wherever you’re coming from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you’ve planned ahead. We’ve made a list of handy tips that will help get your Wiler vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack your passport, travel docs, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you’ll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a phone filled with your favorite movies are some terrific options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you’ll arrive at your destination looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of prohibited items can differ between airlines, the general rule to follow is avoid carrying anything flammable, sharp or explosive. This includes things like knives, scissors, fuel and fireworks. Sporting equipment like ski poles, and objects that could harm other people, such as firearms and swords, can’t come on board with you either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your number one priority when selecting what to wear on board. Consider your footwear carefully too, as swollen feet are quite common. Roomy, closed-toed shoes are always a smart option.
- Caused by sustained periods of immobility, DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a serious condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. But the great news is there are proven ways to lower your risk of developing it. Keep your fluids up, wander around the cabin as much as possible and wear compression tights or socks.
