Booking thru your portal was not honoured by Mars hotel. We had called you to refund the payment we made to you. But we are yet to get the refund.

Caring staff and Air-port shuttle are the only +. However, the property is not OK for so many reasons. No hot water in the bathroom. No dust bin. TV didn't work. AC is switched off while we were in, and I have to ask them to find why TV was off, then they turned it on.

Dont ever select this hotel . i have booked it through hotels.com and when i reached there midnight and submitted the booking details. but they are not agreeing the booking and they dont even have any clue about hotels.com. Luckily they have rooms and I have paid out of my pocket and stayed. they dont have manners or courtesy

Very bad experience the toilets are pathetic ... linen are not clean and has marks .... stafff tried to help.... but no use ..... on the whole VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Online cheater.
I book and paid the hotel online but when I reach the hotel they refuse to give me the room saying that money was not deposit to their account and I had to pay double amount since it was late I couldn't search for other hotel. I hope you don't cheat other people in future.

Camping would be better
No one came to pick us up. In the dark, in a foreign country is not pleasant. Arrived at hotel and if I didn't have a print out, they didn't believe I had a booking. We had to wait for our room at 12.30am when were exhausted. When we got to our room, another couple was moving in to it so we had to wait for another. I requested 2 single beds as I went with my son, we got a double surprise surprise. I wanted to inform my husband we arrived safely and the free wifi that only works in the lobby didn't work. My phone died so I requested to use their phone and I was told no international calls. So I spent what little time I had not sleeping on a rock hard bed worried sick I couldn't notify family I was somewhat safe. I had to catch a taxi back to the airport at 6am to use a phone. The area around the hotel is disgusting and when we opened the door to our room, he vomited due to a smell in the hotel. Don't go!!!!! You have been warned!!!!

A decent stay with some problems.
When we reported to the hostel they actually said me there was no booking with my name instead i booked with hotels.com. they started telling me their hotel prices... which led to confusion..

In a very dirty locality.
I have booked the hotel for 5 nights for 3 pax but only 2 checked in. Due to some unfortunate circumstances we left the hotel after 1 night. The hotel refused to return the money paid for remaining 4 days. A very bad experience.

Bonsoir, Le point positif de l'hotel est le service "Navette Aéroport" Le point négatif: L'établissement se trouve dans un coin pas très sympa et les lieux ne sont pas propres. Le soit-disant "Restaurant" se trouve dans une petite salle avec des tables et chaises en plastiques. 3 hommes pour porter les bagages sur 5 mètres et nous ont soulé pour avoir des pourboires Ne pas se laisser attirer par le petit prix!!!!!!

They are cheating with customers. Nobody accepted these type of services. They are showing executive room to customers but that room is disappoint to customers. and wash room ......Oh My God ..........ist too bad, leakage the water from toilet and also from sink, in washroom so many patches of paan masala and other patches. in wash room you required cold water in summer and you will get hot water. after 10.00 pm you have not get proper service of food & water. Bed Sheets and blankets are so cheaper (like bihar persons) T.V not working. Old furniture convert into new look, but they do not know about sound of old furniture. Curtains and A.C in good conditions, I like both of things. I shall suggest to expedia that kindly cut mars hotel from your hotel list. Because they are displaying hotel room in executive class but actually have not. Which Room in actual good that are saying its deluxe. kindly visit in the hotel and check it and compare the deluxe room with vijay park, emrald, hotel etc

You dont get what you see
I with my wife stayed in this hotel overnight as we had to catch a flight next day early morning. I must say, it was one SAD experience. Firstly, the receptionist looked shabby and had no clue about my booking. After he confirmed the booking with his manager, to my surprise he asked me to pay advance. For which I had already done the payment. After much argument finally the porter guided us to the room which was moist and and had no good feeling about it. The porter despite poor service, stood there for quite some time asking for a TIP which I had no intentions for. To top it up, the A/c went bad in about 1 hr and we were shifted to a new room only after the technician himself was convinced that the A/c would not work anymore. To sum it up it was a disaster, I could hardly sleep for 3-4 hrs and the whole purpose of getting into this hotel was defeated. Blanket was provided instead of comforter and i had to switcth off the a/c because the blanket was small in size and itchy. And in the morning (as the hotel claims for a free drop off to the airport), we were dropped in a tempo traveller (they had just this vehicle for this purpose) and there were another two families that were to be dropped for which we had to waste 20 mins which would have turned bad if only we had not had spare time.

Convenient for Chennai Airport
Dirty noisy room, the only good thing about this place is that it is close to Chennai airport and they run an airport shuttle. Be aware that you have to pay cash in the hotel restaurant.

It is not a hotel to be rated as ****
Environment of the hotel is not good & room & surrounding room was suffocating. Mobile network was not OK in the room. House keeping people found bit lethargic, Yi-Fi is not available in the room. The quality of food was so so. The area surrounding hotel is crowded, dusty & there is a lot of noise pollution. The staff at the reception found co-operative.

Hotel Mars - 10 min unna flyplassen i Chennai
Hotellet lå veldig nære flyplassen, som er jekt om man lander sent på kvelden. Det var vel det eneste positive med hotellet. Lite hjelpsomme i resepsjonen, frekke/ pågående vaske/rydde/bæregutter.

Convenient stop-over hotel
Great hotel if what you need is a bed for a night while travelling through. If you are fine with Indian dinginess, I would readily recommend. Room was clean and ariconned, bathroom with hot water and okay toilet. Shuttle to and from Chennai Airport. If you give flight details, they will wait for you at the exit of the arrivals hall. Breakfast had better been taken at a local teahouse :).

Not recommended
When arrived at airport, there was no pick-up organised. When asked about it, the receptionist said that the vehicle was present at the airport sheepishly ( lie). Bed sheets were dirty and needed change, the guy who changed asked money for it. Had to ask for bath towels and soap. very poor customer service and the staff expect money for every single thing. Final word: It is conveniently located but better avoid if you have an option.

Decent, clean hotel near the airport
We wanted a hotel close to the airport for one night, to catch an early morning flight. Hotel Mars fit the bill very nicely. Great service, decent room, reasonable price. The shuttle to the airport was the clincher. I would recommend this hotel if all you want is a clean bed for the night.
