Room was clean but size of postage stamp. There was only minimal clearance around the bed, night table only on one side. There was not even a closet. Air conditioner rumbled loudly. Bathroom fan equally disturbing.
All bad but worst was that toilet would not flush. Manager very politely offered me a plunger. I fixed it, but every time we used it I needed the plunger again. Hotel full so room switch not possible. Manager very apologetic. Nice enough people, but room was way overpriced for these accommodations, beyond absurd. They gave me a partial credit for the toilet inconvenience.
This hotel is an old "drive up" motel that has been repainted and given a new lobby up front. You can see the bricked up former doors of each room. There are little TVs in the rooms, there is a standard free breakfast in the lobby with coffee/tea, toast, oatmeal, yogurt. The management is polite but there are many many other places to stay.
