New Zealand burrs, Japanese cedars and German irises are among the many global plants that grow in the gardens, living around and alongside the glasswork. Don’t miss The Sun, a striking sphere of yellow and red tentacles that stands over the gardens.

Explore the eight indoor galleries, which demonstrate the variety in Chihuly’s work. Walk beneath ceilings designed to bathe those who stroll beneath them in color. Suspended sculptures are installed above walls where his paintings and drawings hang.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is open daily. The exhibit is located in the Seattle Center and can be found directly beneath the iconic Space Needle. Buy a package admission ticket for access to both attractions. Regular buses run to adjacent streets several times a day. Find metered parking in three garages in the Seattle Center.
