Wonderful Place!
Wonderful place. Very clean and cozy room. Amazing host!! They provided wonderful breakfast, map, all the information to enjoy the town. Thank you, Carlotta :) This is definitely recommended place! Except the location. You have to take a taxi to get there. Otherwise, It takes about 25 mins by walk. If you dont mind the distance, it will be a perfect choice. Because of this location, You can see the special sea and village view. ;)

Magníficas vistas!
Arianna, la recepcionista, fue muy amable y atenta. Nos escribió un WhatsApp antes para indicar dónde podíamos aparcar. Aunque el hotel está lejos del centro, en lo alto de una colina, vale la pena por las visitas. El desayuno en el jardín es una maravilla!

Rekommenderas verkligen!
Fantastiskt läge på hotellet. Jag och min partner tyckte att det var väldigt skönt att bo en bit bort från stadskärnan. Väldigt idylliskt med fin utsikt, en mysig restaurang med 5 minuters gång upp i bergen. Helt underbar personal, ägare och så vidare. De som jobbade var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma när man undrade något. Vi tyckte verkligen att det var ett hotell med det extra, dessutom ett väldigt bra pris för ett så bra boende. Skulle rekommendera alla att ta in på detta hotellet om man ska stanna i La Spezia. Vi kände oss verkligen som hemma!

Mooie plek met tuin en terrassen waar je gebruik van kan maken. Geweldig uitzicht op La Spezia en de zee. Erg vriendelijke mensen en super behulpzaam. Ontbijt zeer prima. Loopafstand 4 km naar centrum via trappen zodat je de slingerweg naar boven niet hoeft te lopen. Steil maar goed te berijden weg naar de BenB. Echt een aanrader en heerlijk verblijf.

This was a great property. Well maintained and the staff was fantastic. However it is near the top of a mountain and cabs are hard to get from and in La Spezia. If you are going to visit Cinque Terre I would recommend you stay in town or in one of the Cinque Terre towns

Great stay with great staff. We had a lovely stay in 88 Miglia and the staff took excellent care of us from start to finish. The room was consistently clean and cool and a great spot to stay in to explore the nearby Cinque Terre by train. Highly recommend!

Great Reception Service
We arrived in La Spezia by ferry from Cinque Terre and missed the taxi area at the dock so began walking toward the hotel looking for taxis. Note the last 1km is uphill and not good on a hot day. We were running late and the checkin staff personally drove down the hill to pick us up. They were wonderful and very thorough checkin. The hotel is not really walking distance to town but views are beautiful and the mini fridge is stocked with beverage options to sit and enjoy the sunset. Food delivery and taxi calls are easy.

Vista incantevole di LA SPEZIA e golfo
Situato in collina, vicino alla diramazione per le Cinque Terre o porto Venere, è facile da raggiungere in auto e con possibilità di parcheggiare addirittura sotto "casa". Non mancano comunque gli spazi per parcheggiare l'auto lungo la strada. La camera è ben arredata ed ha tutti in comfort compreso il minibar. C'è la possibilità di ordinare direttamente in struttura la cena con servizio a domicilio e a richiesta c'è anche la possibilità di fare la colazione alla mattina. Per chi volesse recarsi alle 5 Terre via treno, la stazione è abbastanza vicina e in più ha la comodità del parcheggio sotterraneo direttamente in stazione. La località in cui si trova la struttura è molto tranquilla e il personale è molto gentile, anche quando non riesci a trovare l'ingresso della struttura di notte, loro ci sono sempre. Non servono le chiavi è tutto domotico

Very warm and gentle owners (molto gentile)
We stayed for fourteen days with a double room and everything was very good, especially the owners and the stuff were very gentle and nice. Also the room was very comfortable and clean with a great view over the city of La Spezia.

Nice view
Carlotta provides a very well-run B&B experience. From the helpful and courteous staff to the exceptionally clean, modern rooms, her property perched up on the hill offers a phenomenal view over looking the city and port. Our room had a great panoromic view, but any of the guests can enjoy the view from the multiple terraces available for guests to kick back and relax. The breakfast room offers both indoor and outdoor seating with that same great view. A car was helpful getting in and out of town, but not necessary. The narrow, zigzagging roads might be a little intimidating to some---we found them exciting and part of the whole experience! For those without a car, some guests arrived by taxi or there was a walking path into town. As far as accessing dinner in the evening, there is a fantastic restaurant a little further up the hill or a multitude of great restaurants in town. Take out is also an option. We enjoyed 88 Miglia as a great home base for exploring Cinque Terre, Lerici, Tellaro, and other interesting villages in the area.

Kleines Hotel in toller Lage
Das Hotel liegt am Rande von La Spezia auf einer Anhöhe. Es liegt sehr ruhig und man hat eine super Aussicht auf La Spezia. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Beim Check-In wurden wir ausführlich informiert. Es ist ein kleines familiengeführtes B&B Hotel, aber alles ist ziemlich neu und sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir waren 3 Tage dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

O local é novo, com conforto e vista maravilhosa. Ambiente familiar, sendo o dono muito atencioso e prestativo. Único inconveniente é o acesso. Se estiver sem carro fica restrito o acesso do centro da cidade.

Magnifique séjour dans les hauteurs de La Spezia
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Carlotta !  Le B&B est situé assez loin du centre ville, mais la vue qu'il offre sur les hauteurs de la Spezia est magnifique. Le seul bémol est qu'il est parfois difficile de se garer dans la rue (nous n'étions pas rassuré de laisser notre voiture à la sortie d'un virage) L'accueil est très chaleureux et Carlotta nous a tout de suite donné plusieurs informations utiles sur La Spezia, les Cinque Terre, plans, carte de randonnées, horaires des trains. Nous avons également testé le restaurant qu'elle recommande et avons passé une excellente soirée : un repas à la fois délicieux et surprenant, et un très bon service. Notre chambre était neuve, très bien équipée et parfaitement entretenue. Le petit déjeuner était correct, sans plus. Nous n'hésiterons pas à réserver une chambre lors de notre prochain passage dans la région !

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Everyone there is helpful, and the breakfast is good. It is best if you have a car because it's far from station and there are not many places to walk to from the hotel. But after crowded, hot days in Cinque Terre, it was nice to get away from all the people and up the mountain where it was cooler and the view was amazing.

Rien de négatif à dire !
Ce fut un séjour fort agréable. La vue de l'hôtel est incroyable, les employés de l'hôtel sont très gentils et proches de leur clientèle. L'hôtel est un peu éloigné si l'on est à pied, mais il a y toujours possibilité de prendre l'autobus. Je conseille vraiment cet endroit si l'on aime être proche des propriétaires et si l'on aime être un peu éloigné du centre ville.

Great stay and Amazing View
It was a beautiful spot, great view, great service and very close to the train, grocery store and marina if you're driving. Our room was a little damp but was very modern and clean. Highly recommend!

Worth the walk
(We traveled 9 days in Italy during what locals called the "off season" from March 6th to March 17th, 2015). We traveled from the U.S. 88 Miglia was spectacular. The best view in all of La Spezia. The hike to the hotel took us through a nice neighborhood with cool views. The owners were so nice and welcomed us well. We took the local train to Manarola and Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre area (very close to La Spezia). We would visit 88 Miglia again!

on a envie de revenir dans cet hôtel
cet hotel est très bien placé sur la colline, excentré, mais avec une vue extraordinaire sur le golfe de la spezia. Très facile pour la visite de cinque terre, la gare n'est pas loin. De plus, Carlotta et sa maman nous ont donné toutes les indications, les horaires des trains, ce que nous devions visiter, elles nous ont même donné des adresses de restaurant qui étaient d'ailleurs très bons et très pittoresques. Ces deux personnes sont d'une gentillesse hors du commun, très à l'écoute, ce qui a rendu notre séjour très agréable.

Very good value
Very, very friendly staff. They were assisting us any way they could. Good value overall. Would be much happier if we had a car (no car rental near the station or within 6 km radius from the station). Relying on taxis will set you back minimum 40€ each day just to get to the town or harbor and back to B and B. Bus is a more economical option, but their schedule may be a problem depending on the time of the day.
