The property was conveniently located to the 3-day music festival we were there for, and seemed like a good value for a 5 night stay. The minute I arrived and had to check-in from the sidewalk, I knew we were in trouble. The owners do not speak English very well, and were rude to me. I overlooked this, and also the room's condition until on the 3rd day I noticed a personal item was missing from my room. I informed the office and asked for it to be returned, no questions asked. The manager dismissed me by saying that my husband probably moved it somewhere else in the room, and did not take any responsibility for the item's disappearance which occured while we were at the festival. For the next two days, we were forced to remove our valuables and take them in the car with us. We were fortunate that some big-ticket items had not been stolen, but this situation made me worry each day about what was happening while we were away from there. When we returned to our room for the final night, the trash and wet bath towels had been removed but not replaced with clean towels. It was after 9 pm,so we made do with two hand towels that we hadn't used yet. Probably intentional. I had told the owner that he would receive a bad review for the stolen item which was a $30. rechargeable tac-light that I travel with. I doubt that I will be comfortable using Expedia from now on. If I had contacted this place directly, I would have known after speaking with them to keep looking...
