Well kept on the outside as well as the inside. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was excellent, lounge restaurant had great choice of dinner options.

Need to have the tub faucet and shower head for room 406 totally rebuilt. Leaky, and difficult to change to shower. Then get sprayed in the legs by the lever changing tub faucet to shower faucet because it seems broken. Otherwise loved the hotel

The staff was very friendly, site was comfortable quiet, beds were good. Did have a little bit of a musty smell. Our AC worked great my sister who was in another room did not work so well. This was my second visit in two weeks and both times had issues with the TV.

Restaurant was not open for breakfast and had to eat dinner in the bar. The elevator inspection has expired.

Don’t stay here
Way overpriced for what you get!!! the room looked filthy. The carpet was totally stained. It just seemed really dirty. There was a party in the room next-door that started around 2:30 AM and never stopped. We got dressed and left around 6 AM because there was no sleeping at that point anyway.

Good stay
Beds were actually comfortable. It was quiet and clean. Restaurant was good and friendly. Love the private living and bedroom area in the king suite, with a bedroom door. Roomy.

Even though somehow our reservation for the first night for smoking room was somehow messed up, We still had an enjoyable time. We really liked the swimming pool and the hot tub. We really enjoyed the courtyard and the restaurant. We really appreciated the security and the parking convenience for my boat. We really like that everything was in close proximity, supermarket, the restaurant, gas stations and especially the boat launch dock and bait shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the guy at the front desk named James. We really enjoyed being able to get Netflix and YouTube on the television. We will definitely stay there again and recommended to our friends and family.

Bed was amazingly comfortable. Shower water pressure could be increased. There seemed to be numerous people perusing the parking lot during the night making us feel unsafe about our vehicle.

tons of construction workers in the parking lot, playing their music loudly and drinking after 5 pm. Cars pulling in and deals going down, got to get more "go fast' for tomorrows shift. Had to move my car bc one construction truck parked @ 1 foot from my drivers' door, that when I noticed a delivery being made, and I am not talking "food' but "go-go". Room was nice and staff friendly.

This hotel is really the tale of two properties. There are aspects which are awesome, and then others that are disappointing. The hotel is old but it has had some obvious renovations that make this place feel like a Time Capsule, like a step back in time when hotels were about the experience not just a place to lay your head. The interior atrium is gorgeous and warm. It is a huge open area, lit with warm glowing amber lights, a fountain gurgles in the center area, and all around are common seating areas to enjoy with fellow travelers. The cantina is relaxed and serves decent cocktails. The staff is wonderfully helpful, and their help really adds to the experience. The room… this is a non-smoking establishment but the two rooms I was shown both stunk of recently smoked cigarettes. So much so I ensured that the odors were documented prior to me moving my things into the room. The aircon worked fine, but the plumbing was annoying. All through the night, there was a loud and slightly disconcerting sound emanating from the water pipes. Like a large mass of air was moving around in them. Outside was a mess. The parking lot was filled with muddy pickups from either a mine or oul&gas project. The big chunks of mud occupied every parking spot. Unrelated were the dog owners allowing their mutts to run unleashed. Minus the parking lot and plumbing it was okay. Wouldn’t stay again.

This place way overcharges and is running outdated everything. Avoid this area in general tons of crackheads and police activity. Tons of noise through paper thin windows can hear people talking in parking lot at any time. Not to mention traffic noise. Outdated furniture and amenities from 1980. Holes in the bath area and plugs that are unscrewed and sitting beside it. Poor water pressure in many rooms toilets barely flush. Trash left behind chairs and visible grime on tables/surfaces. Stay elsewhere for less money for better facility. This hotel should be half the price it charges you can stay at WorldMark, Hampton Inn, the Hilton Marriott and Westin for cheaper than this pile of junk.

The hotel is located in impoverished area. Overall hotel is good. They could improve on a few things such as provide plug-ins for the chargers. Otherwise, a bit more expensive for the price. definitely not worth the money.

Not my 1st Choice in Clearlake
Check in was easy. My room was right off the elevator but the bedroom is back far enough that it wasn't noisy. The noise came from the street traffic (very noticeable). Room was large with a "living room" with couch that had pull out bed, a sink area with microwave and refrigerator, and separate bedroom. Bathroom shower had hair in it and the floor is in poor condition. There is a large patch on the ceiling in the bedroom and the carpet looks like it's about 30 years old. It's right across the street from a grocery store and restaurant. I wouldn't walk around here at night. The choices are slim in Clearlake so it's an adequate hotel. I prefer the Clearlake Cottages which are right on the water and further away from street traffic.

Once again the hot tub was not functioning The restaurant was closed Room was clean but smells bad of cigarettes smoke older carpet could be the cause. and people hanging out in stairwells smoking . Some resident transient we're cruising through lobby areas. Every hour all day and night a slamming door of some kind Bottom line I would stay again just now I know what is expected you don't know until you stay

Very dated, outside is SCARY! It needs to be gated people that are obviously on drugs were everywhere in the parking lot. We literally watched a car get stolen, the cops were called and they didn't even do anything the drove right by the Thebes sitting in the car and NEVER drove back by.

Nice Stay for What We Needed It For
We stayed here as we do every year for a family reunion in Clearlake. The only issue was that the shower did not get hot at all. Otherwise, the room was everything that we hoped for.

Wi-Fi either doesn’t work or wait to slow like 1 to 2 MB. It simply doesn’t work. They should fix it as soon as possible. Overall I have $180 for one night is a little bit steep. Call especially during the weekdays.
