Great for the price
This is a great place to stay. The staff if friendly and it’s very clean and inviting. The rooms are updated and the beds were actually comfortable. Great pool area for the kids and a nice breakfast is offered. Would stay here again!

This was the second visit within ten days; first visit was excellent, no complaints. The return (12/29/2023) the first room we checked into had broken drapery that would not close. Switched to another room with no desk chair. Eventually got one after two calls. Cleanliness the second time was also noticeably less; debris in corner of bathroom, discolored caulk and stains.

Clean and comfortable. Room temperature control could have been more consistent but was otherwise fine. Shower pressure was mediocre. Good beds/bedding. Very nice staff.

It was clean and quiet. 10 minutes from my Drs appointment. Non smoking really meant not smoke smelling rooms. Cleanliness was superb!

One night stay
If you’re staying with intentions of using the sofa bed, I recommend checking it as soon as you get to your room. Our cushion was filthy, garbage fell out of mattress when bed was opened up. Friendly service, quiet, hotel, great location for dining and shopping.

Overall not disappointed
We plan an annual stay at this hotel in Westlake Ohio with our 2 granddaughters. The love the “turtle slide hotel”, even though they have outgrown the children’s pool area. We love this hotel for many reasons but the size of the pool is the main one. This year, I was called to see if we would like to change rooms as the 2 bed queen reserved was on the first floor. The alternative room was a king with sleeper sofa so I declined. We were not worried about being on the first floor. When we opened the door, there was at first a very strong mold odor but lowering the temperature in the room seemed to help it. Someone with mold allergies or a respiratory disease would have had to leave this room. On another positive note, we loved the pancake machine, it’s the first time we have seen this in a hotel. Breakfast was well stocked, hot food, and staff were very friendly and attentive. I would suggest either insulated cups at coffee station or adding cup sleeves. Cups became very hot when filled.

Hotel is located near major routes yet was so quiet at night. Rooms are large and very clean. Nice desk area if needed and comfy beds. Large breakfast area and friendly staff. Will stay again!
