There was nothing unique about this property the grounds had so many holes I was afraid to drive through, the room was disgusting smelled of smoke had to change the room then the room we had the phone was broke the heat would come in then the air conditioning would come on making it worse to sleep there was no closet the blankets had hair on them I would never step foot back on the property and the front staff was rude she had a attitude as soon as I said hello I’m checking in! Never again

Very disgusting place. Had a horrible smell when went into room. Bathroom was in horrible condition with black mold on walls and rust around tub. Told management and they switched rooms. Same problem. I had my daughter and son with me. I wanted a full refund to go find somewhere else to stay. They did not give me a refund. But I left and went to 'The Inn in Clinton' and that was very very clean and safe. Do not ever go to the 'Days Inn'

Found roach in the room by one of the beds, I definitely wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anyone. Filthy no heat thermostat was broken bathroom no the way it should be.

Our TV didn't work at all for hours so we called the office and a nice African American lady came by to try fix the problem but she couldn't so she provided us with another room at 12am in the morning. The following day we were woken up by a knock on the door at 9:00 by housekeepers to come vacate our room but we told the lady thru the door that we were staying til check-out and shortly after at 10:45 the housekeepers knocked again but only this time she quickly went over to the next room as if she was hiding. We felt like she was basically rushing us out the room. After we packed all of our belongings to head out we went to the front desk to let someone know. We were greeted by a grey hair gentlemen who was absolutely rude he accused my husband of lying about the times the housekeeper came by. We almost always check into this hotel when we visit but because of how we were treated I'm not so sure of that now. However the daughter of the owner did apologize and she promised she would talk to the maids and change the times they arrive to clean.

My stay
Everything in general was fine. The mattress was saggy in the middle and seemed pretty worn but once I got comfortable I slept well. The TV in the room did not work! The staff came to try and get it started but could not!

the bed was hard as a rock, the sheet metal under the bed popped when you move in bed or got on the bed, bathroom door coming of the hinges had to lift door to close, exhaust fan in bathroom was only held in place by the paint on one side, TV only had one channel, phone didn't work, housekeeping only changed the towels They came in the room when we were gone and got the towels but didn't put new ones in we had to go get them then they gave us one extra but came back later and removed it when we were gone. the paint in the bathroom was all bubbled there were old electric boxes that were not covered. It was bad that we left one day early because we couldtn't stand it any more.

There was black mold behind the toilet and only one straightback chair. Only one bag stand for a double room and two adults.

Our room door would not lock properly. There were bugs all over the room. Random people kept walking up to our door and we had children in there.

From the time I walked to the front desk the staff was rude. The manager was uncooperative, and I wound up having to argue to get my Expedia rate. We had to take a double room instead of the king that I had booked online and the manager tried to charge extra for that! the area around the building was unkempt and so many dirty, loud people we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. the manager was even rude about breakfast for the next morning. Even though I had not mentioned breakfast! I told him not to worry we would not be eating there, he gave us the rate that was quoted for a king room, even though it was a double and told us we better not be sleeping on the other bed, or he would charge us extra! The AC unit barely worked, and the water in the shower would not come on, only the tub and the water in the sink in the dressing room trickled only, we never got hot or warm water. Definitely will never stay at that Days Inn again! From now on when I walk into the front desk and it smells and the floor looks dirty I’ll know to turn around and walk out no matter what time of night it is! He even pointed his finger at me and told me I better not be sleeping in the other bed, or he would charge me extra for it!

Roach Motel! The photos that they show are not the photos of this hotel. The showerhead was ripped from the wall. There was signs of cockroaches everywhere, and I saw cockroaches in the parking lot outside. Also, I would give Expedia zero stars if I could because they won’t refund my money!

Only 2 hotels in Clinton and the other way booked. Service was very good but rooms are musty and the beds are very off the shelf firm. TV was so old , 2005 called and asked it to be returned. Rate is about 40% over what it should be

While it’s clear that the gentlemen that own and operate the property are trying, it’s more of a truck stop vibe. The room was adequate, but not a place I’d go back to.
