B&B in Clinton
Very nice place, and located near many things. We had never been to a bed and breakfast before and didn't know what to expect. The breakfast was different than anything we had ate before, we would have preferred the regular breakfast items, but it was fine for the B&B experience. Overall, I'd recommend this place.

Clinton’s Gem for the Business Traveler
The accommodations were spectacular! My cottage was cozy, comfy and clean. The queen size bed was extremely comfortable with a multitude of pillows. The offered a chez lounge and artful furnishings that were multi-purpose. A Keurig coffee maker with San Francisco coffee pods and gourmet teas were available in my cottage along with a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was spacious and had a tub/shower combo. The closet was big and had a roll-away bed available. The owner Julie was an incredible host. She was super attentive and responsive. Her breakfast offerings were DIVINE!!! Julie made sure I had breakfast in my fridge during the week and even did a load of laundry for me. The downtown community is lovely and pretty quiet. There’s a number of sit down and fast food restaurants within five minutes and a Walgreens & CVS less than a 5 minute walk. There is no doubt that I will return!

Nice choice for those who do not want the motel atmosphere. Our breakfast was excellent, a little off the norm.

A beautiful B & B with a fantastic Hostess. Julie was extremely friendly and made great breakfasts. I loved the historic feel to the house that was built in the 1800's. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to stay in Clinton, NC!

We were given the very charming cottage ( very sweet little bungalow w/o kitchen) because we had our tiny dog. So private and perfect.Breakfast was pretty amazing!

Julia was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, and grits were so different and great. We want the recipe! Bed and sheets were heavenly! Very quiet. We sat out on the porch for hours and visited with family!

Julie was most accommodating to our late arrival! The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean! The coup de gras was the breakfast, those eggs were to die for! I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast if your travels takes you to or near Clinton, North Carolina!

hostess was a sweet lady, and a wonderful cook . The Ashford Inn was almost like home so comfortable and quiet. We will ne staying here next time we come to Clinton.

I was in town on business, Supposed to stay at Days Inn; Really?! NOT! They took me on short notice and what a difference. The house is beautiful with so many rooms it's decorated meticulously I will be back

What a wonderful, relaxing place to be. Great food, attentive owner and with walking distance to Angelos, by far the best Italian restaurant I've been to in a long while. Very happy with our stay!

Return visit
This is my second stop-over in Clinton to visit relatives and do some genealogy research. The Ashford Inn fits my needs perfectly and I will continue to stay there when I'm in Clinton.

Oh wow what a great surprise, the Ashford Inn was an excellent choice a co worker who lives in Clinton suggested it. So while I was in town for project I decided to try it out. I would highly recommend it.

excellent stay
stayed 1 night for a business trip - couldn't have been more pleased. Arrived a little late, but hosts & owners Patty & Mason were more than accommodating. Friendly & made me feel comfortable. Room was great- very comfortable & clean. For breakfast Patty made the best french toast I have ever eaten (I am a chef, & was very impressed!) Will definitley stay here again when in area.

Wonderful Inn. Very clean and comfortable. Great home made breakfast. Host Mason and Patty go out of their way to make you feel at home. Stayed there three nights and will stay again next time we go to Clinton NC.

Beautiful hotel, great convenient location to downtown Clinton. Stayed in the Magnolia Suite - room is a little small with queen bed (vice king). The owners were very welcoming and service-oriented. Definitely recommend.

The Ashford Inn was a great place to stay. The owners are extremely nice and friendly. The price was very reasonable, and you get a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are exceptional. They are decorated beautifully and I slept great on the most comfortable bed. Very clean and inviting. Nice back patio to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend others to stay here.

Very clean accomodations. Inn keepers kind and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. Breakfasts were gourmet quality. My wife and I will return if we have occasion to travel in Clinton area again!
