Check in was easy but it would be nice to know I wouldn't feel safe. Door dash made me walk across the street to get my order(if that tells you anything Just has surgery and needed a place to stay for 24 hours before driving 2 hrs home.

They need to change some stuff they are too old for example the bathroom tub the paint is peeling and the bathroom clean is poor looks dirty, the room smell bad.

Property is in terrible/unsafe condition. Was filfthy and very outdated/poorly maintained. The door handle for our room fell off in my hand. No ice machine on premisis. No fridge, micorwave as advertised.

Worst hotel I ever been to
Asked for a non smoking room. Was told it is non smoking. Went back to the front desk. And was told that’s there best room. My wife is allergic to smoke. Ending up having to go to the hospital because she couldn’t take it in the 5 mins we were there. Plus to make matters worse we seen bugs. This hotel shouldn’t even be in business. There were guys playing dice right outside my door. Some rooms had cardboard on it.

Worst hotel ever
The hotel was felt unsafe and unsanitary. This hotel needs to be revamped or better warnings on the website. After two failed attempts at getting us a clean acceptable room we accepted our fate and just hope there wasn’t bed bugs.

Worst Place Ever
Nothing listed as amenities were in the room. Smoke detector kept beeping. Pillows were horrible. Cheap bedding. Had to ask for more toilet paper. Will never stay there again.

The room door looked to having been kicked in with several areas where the flimsy deadbolt had been pulled out of the screws, tore some of the support wood out of door jamb, etc. the shower water was barely lukewarm. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

I would have given this place negative star or zero if possible. this motel is located in a very ghetto area of DC, not many places to find food around. about the motel itself, very poorly managed, carpet was dirty just by the look, it smelled like vomit and alcohol. power outlets, especially ones by the bed side had loose covers and I easily could have electrocute myself if I wasn't careful. everything was at the lowest minimum possible. no shampoo just a tiny soap bar. not a thick blanket but a very thin (summer type) luckily my heat was working. even though it wasnt cold night but running it all night at 80 degree just made room comfy enough and I'm not easy to get cold. rooms look horrible from outside, like jail cells. wifi was dragging, no breakfast. even coffee that they were supposed to provide at front desk was not ready. I was so horrified by how this room looked and smelled that i actually looked for other places but somehow due to current busy nights at DC there was no other room available. short story, even if this place gives me $500 a night, I would not stay there. VERY BAD place

Deberían remodelar esta muy sucio , en categoría le Doi un cero . Puerta de entrada rota , alfombra del ciuarto sucio , puerta del baño rota , inodoro sin tapa . Y la tapa del tanque ni era de ella , bañera súper fea . No lo recomiendo debe de cerrar hasta que lo remodelen . Por lo menos el cuarto y el area por fuera sucio y abandonado . Si van en familia o con su pareja no vayan fue cerca de la oficina . 1er piso nos toco área de fumador porque no podía subir escalera no hay elevador . Las fotos de la página parece que fue cuando los hicieron . 😡no se si otras personas lo encuentran bueno .jamás me quejo ni hablo de cositas que pueden pasar en otros hoteles pero aquí se pasó de la raya de abandono y limpieza .

Once I arrived the room I booked wasn’t available and the staff wasn’t friendly. The room had roaches in the bathroom, carpet had a smell and bed top sheet had stains.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. There was no microwave or mini refrigerator in the room as described on the website. Not even an Ice machine on the property. No pillows just cushions to use as pillows. No house keeping. Requested the towels for the next day use, got only 2 small towels. WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO STAY. No toiletries , just a bar of soap for washing and bathing. AWEFUL. Please DO NOT trust their website description as it is just misguiding and false. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the money we spent and had to spend 2 nights in misery. Would advise to stay away from this property. Also they operate the business in the same building under 2 different names, Travel Lodge and Days Inn by Wyndham. Shame on Wyndham Group to be the part of this property. Very disgusting.

The AC did not work in my first room. Also the door had clearly been broken into and a piece of plywood was wedged into the door to close the gap where the door handle interfaced to the frame. In new room, it was smelly, the water was brown and I did not shower. Terrible, just terrible at the cost. Indeed at any cost.

There were a lot of small roaches in my room and my last night there I heard some noise coming from the bathroom area and by the bins in my room. When I woke up to check it was a rat.
