Perfect for what we needed! In town for our sons Baseball Tournament…..games were pushed back Sunday, ask for a late check out and the Customers Rep at the Front Desk didnt hesitate to extend our check to 1pm. Will def stay again when we are back in College Station for Baseball!

The mini fridge only was somewhat cool and not cold even after turning it to max. The treadmills in the gym were both unusable. One has been broke for many months as we stayed here last June, and the other one has a ripped belt. Very frustrating.

Great location if you are doing something related to the A&M campus. The beds are hard. Shower pressure is awesome. Hairdryer only blew cold air. TV didn't work on day of check out.

The air conditioner kept the room at 73 degrees. If you need to sleep cooler than that I would suggest bringing a fan.

Stayed on the 2nd floor people above me running a track meet until midnight. Stomping around being loud. I called down to the front desk made my complaint. So the next morning i went to see if i could possibly change rooms since i was set to stay another night. One front desk worker was willing to help out the other one didnt have time to do her job at the moment. So i ended up checking out of the motel and going to a holiday inn. I should be refunded my money for one stay

The room was to be a walk-in shower, not a tub with shower, being disabled, and I can hardly move my bend my knees they put me on the third floor across from where the stairs, and if an emergency arose, I would be stuck there. I cannot do stairs and the breakfast almost all the eggs and gravy was gone by 7:35 AM. Unbelievable it was only maybe four or five cars in the parking lot. They had very few rooms rented out The bed looks like it been slept in before oh yes, I got photos very disappointed. I am a Waymans rewards and stay La Quinta and and suites by Wayman.

My other stays were more positive than this one
Started out badly with a failure by Expedia. Things just went downhill from there. No plastic bags were stocked in the pet area. Fortunately, since we had the problem of 2 rooms, I could take the trash can liners and ice bucket bags from the other room we had to pay for. So we were compliant with picking up after them. Breakfast consistently had overcooked, dry sausage and lukewarm coffee. Despite the cold weather, the heater did not function in our room. Since it was already our third room, we did not want to move again. My husband finally turned the heater off since all it was blowing was colder air than in the room. We used our dog blankets to try to stay warm and got extra pillow out of closet as well. Dogs had their beds so they were okay. Landscaping was well maintained, lots of hot water, clean bathrooms, lobby and elevators were clean. Issues were primarily related to service. Probably unlikely to use La Quinta much in the future based on this experience.

Hotel needs renovation - our 4th floor room was rough and ridden hard. Shower was disgusting, hair and grime and the shower didn’t work. Pillows were stained. Wall behind bed had a gross stain. Clerk was surly and less than hospitable Made reservation month ahead and no indication that our Dec 30 overnight would not include breakfast. Fortunately the coffee was decent but CAUTION the lids do not fit the cups. Not worth the 130$. Do not recommend.

I liked the location as we were visiting Santas Wonderland 2023. If you buy with this property directly they have a promo code. When I saw the sign upon arrival I made a comment about how that's we came for. The girl at the counter just said "uh-huh". She wasn't very welcoming or informative. Room had a microwave and fridge. Location was good. Rooms were clean. Restroom had a massive crack in the wall and the floor had a dip. Either shifted or someone got crazy

Sleepless in College Station!
Several loud barking dogs all night and morning made for a miserable sleepless night. In walking down the hall to breakfast one of the dogs tried to exit the room after us, barking loudly, teeth snapping. Not a pleasant stay!

Worst hotel experience in College Station
Where to begin. Price for rooms was more than when I booked it by at least $200 or more. Man I spoke with at the horse told me that was because I booked through Hotel.com. Price I was originally quoted was under $200 per night. Yesterday I got a bill for $672. Next, breakfast was never filled. Pans empty, waffle batter empty. Juice empty. Both mornings. Dogs. Yes, dogs, barked the entire time. I reported it to staff 4 times. They never came to hear it. They told me no dogs were in the hotel. They were wrong. More than one dog was in a room across the hall from us. I love dogs, I have 6 dogs and a cat. But I boarded them for the trip. These people did not and had no respect for other guests. Staff did not care. Water. Bottles for sale empty both days. Manager could and should have remedied that immediately. Nope. At check out I spoke with a young lady at the desk who was on a person call on her cell phone as I stood at the desk almost 7 minutes before she placed her phone down — did not hang it up - but appeared flustered that I was interrupting her to speak with a manager and to get a receipt. When I saw the receipt I asked about the pricing. And for a manager. Was told there was no manager there and nobody in charge. I would have to call on a weekday. I held out my card keys and she told me just to toss them in a bucket. Called the hotel this morning to ask for the manager. The young man who answered was just as rude. He told me there was no manager.

Discrimination against handicap
I booked a roll in shower handicap room I got a tub was also in the 3rd floor and asked clerk what if a fire he said use the elevator. When checking in confirmed was a roll in shower. When entering room seen tub and then staff said they assumed then called back and said computer was wrong all rooms were tubs no roll in showers. Then Hotels.com would not do anything because this property would not do anything and so as handicapped we were discriminated against. Don’t book second hand they won’t back you up when hotel screws up but I paid hotels .com so they should stand behind tye reservation.
