We only booked one night at this hotel and planned to arrive late in the night. There's nothing fancy about the room but it was as expected and clean. Im most impressed with the great customer service in the middle of the night. We arrived around 1am and felt safe with my young children and elderly relative. The hotel attendant greeted us promptly and was very welcoming. She made sure our room was right and quickly brought us more linens when we requested them.

Water in shower not hot long enough for more than 1 shower. Limited breakfast options. Pool was down for remodeling (understandable but wasn't told in advance), exercise equipment needs revamping. Rooms need repainting. Deep cleaning needs to be done.

Pretty standard operation. Over clean and quiet. Breakfast options left a bit to be desired because they were out of the basics like eggs and yogurt. And other options were very limited. I did book the room for 6 people (two queens and a pull out) and I kept having to ask for extra towels and linens for the pull out and the room was stocked with a set of 4. But those are my biggest issues which really not that big of a deal.

The hotel was unable to accommodate our booking due to water issues. At the last minute we were scrambling to find another hotel room and Expedia had our money from the reservation which we could not get it refunded. Overall a terrible experience with the hotel and Expedia.

When trying to book extra day I could not reach anyone at the hotel at number for the hotel, had to go through hotels.com to book an extra night. Cleanliness was good, but you can tell the hotel is aging. I think it is over priced for the condition of the hotel.

arriving on the property there wasn't any outside lights on. after speaking to the clerk, she informed us that our reservation had been canceled due to plumbing problems, which happened the day I made the reservation, two day prior. No credit has been issued to my account as to date. a voicemail was sent to me the day of our reservation, but did not review it because of traveling.

Needs serious repairs!
Checked in, overwhelmed by smell of mold. Put in 2nd floor room with no working elevators. Room hadm head board ripped off wall, no working ac, and had not been cleaned. Then was told that room was closed for remodel. Put in only available room (smaller than booked) on first floor.

Room smelled musty as though it had previous water damage, elevator wasn’t working, fire alarm went off at 5am. Woman across the hall said this has been happening frequently. Evidently she was renting by the week and said fire alarm issues were a common occurrence. I would not recommend this hotel.

The elevator was not working and they placed us on the 3rd floor. I requested a ground-floor room as my husband has COPD. They insisted they had none available and as I was checking in, the room would have been nonrefundable.

It had a lot problems but I’ve stayed in worse…
They must have sprayed for bugs the day we arrived because the lobby and first floor were hard to breath in - they gave us a room on the second floor which was good due to the chemical smell on the first floor but the elevator was broken. The pool room was so hot I think the central heater must have something wrong with it because it also made a loud irritating growling noise the entire time we swam. The metal picnic table on the outside corner seating area was extremely unsafe - the bolts are loose and the whole thing wobbles and rotates. Inside the room there is a metal shelf inside the shower that is mostly rusted and several loose tiles on the floor. The WiFi isn’t password protected. The lady that checked us in was nice and the beds were comfortable.

Bathroom door didn't shut freely/got stuck in the frame, hand towel rack fell off the wall since it wasn't mounted properly, there was a hole in the bathroom wall below the light switch, the porcelain sink was cracked, The ceiling above the bed had many different dirt marks. The couch had body fluid stains on it. The hotel elevator broke on Friday and still wasn't fix by Monday (during Labor Day weekend) - the check-in clerk told me Friday night it would be fixed by Saturday morning for my handicap wife. Fake eggs were served at breakfast, and no staff cleaned tables or stocked supplies between customers eating at breakfast - no bowls available for cereal and no cups available for juice. Dead bugs were at the bottom of the ceiling light fixture lense in the lobby sitting area. Rusty and loose towel rack in the bathroom. Hotel web site said a DVD player was included with the room, but it wasn't. The trash can at the east end of floor 2 hallway was overflowing for over 2 days and the maids never emptied it. The first floor ice machine was broke the whole weekend, so I had to drag my heavy cooler up and down the steps each day of the weekend. The only driveway entrance to the hotel was blocked off and half torn up for concrete replacement during the whole holiday weekend - this should have been completed before the holiday weekend or resurface work started after the holiday weekend.

Our room ac didn’t work. It blew air but the room was hot. We got in around midnight so it was not worth hassle of moving once we realized the issue. The bathroom wasn’t clean. Cobwebs in the room. The front desk workers were very nice. We were there about 8 hours just to sleep & continue road trip.

The room was fine. It wasn’t the worst place I have stayed, but far from the best. The bathroom was clean, which was a plus. However, the couch in the room was really stained and gross. The pool area was terrible. My 9 year old refused to swim. But the breakfast area was clean and nice and it was a good breakfast. Lots of contradictions.

Nice location, but disappointed in staff up keep
Our family spent 3 nights here on a short family trip to St. Louis. The location worked out well for getting in and out of the city and avoiding paying high city prices. The hotel could be nice if they spent a little time and money cleaning things up. The landscaping was completely let go with bushes growing over the sidewalks and tall weeds. When we arrived in our room, there were broken tiles in the bathroom exposing the wall behind the tile. The hallway had a very odd and unpleasant smell, but the room itself, smell fine. We went to the pool one evening, and half the lights in the pool area were out. The water was very murky, and even wearing goggles, my kids were unable to see each other under the water. We were told At check in that the continental breakfast was from 6 to 10 AM period we went downstairs around 9 o'clock, and we were told they were told they were closing. There was food scattered on the countertops, tabletops and floors, and nothing had been refilled. The coffee ran out, juice was empty, and even the bagels and other cold items were gone or in disarray. While the location was nice, if we are back in the area, we will select another hotel.

As we came in it smelled musty. Water left on floors without bieng mopped up. Elevator was dirty, we get to our room and couch was filthy.. plus room was not a true suite. They put us in another room. 1st thing to see is the window. It looked like someone threw milk all over it. Couldnt even see out it. The tub was dirty too. Carpets were very dirty. We did not eat breakfast there after seeing how dirty hotel was. Only good thing, was it was quiet.
