Room had obviously not been cleaned very well. Paper on the floor and ball by the chair leg. At 8:30 there was hardly any breakfast left

Comfortable beds, plenty very wonderful pillows, many outlets and phone charging areas on both sides of the bed too! Breakfast very good. Not huge but tasty and enough. All staff made you feel as if you were welcomed!! A very good experience and my best one with Holiday Inn Express.

Breakfast had a good selection. The hotel was clean and the room was big. Our hotel lost hot water though and after attending a wedding taking a shower was a must but it would’ve been ice cold still cold in the morning too and we had a flight out. Buying tickets through a third party resulted in them saying there’s nothing we can do for you. That made my ratings for them drop. The customer service rep January was frustrated and overwhelmed and definitely not fit to handle a situation like this.

The shower never got hot, only luke warm at best. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, no tissues in the tissue box and the toilet paper holder was falling off, dropping the toilet paper on the floor. The breakfast was good but out of orange juice, which is what I wanted. Fairly disappointed

EVERY part of my stay at the Edwardsville H.I.Express was great. The place was as clean as a hospital, staff was great, breakfast FAR exceeded expectations. and the area/building was secure and quiet. Cudos to this unit...they've got it going. Fam wedding was perfect partly because of this H.I. Express.

Family Funeral Trip
Our family had four rooms this trip, and we were able to be on the same floor. Nice rooms with coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves. The grandkids loved the gym and the breakfast pancake machine. Great location, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself fit our expectations - decent bed, clean bathroom, friendly staff. Unfortunately, other guests kept us up throughout the night. I don’t mind paying the extra money to know fellow guests are respectable people. Thus I’m uncertain if we’ll be returning.

We try to make sure all of our guests understand our quiet time policy, but sometimes disturbances still happen. We will walk the hallways at night more often to check that no one is making any noise. Guests are also welcome to let the front desk know if another room is causing a disturbance so we can deal with the situation accordingly. My stay was very quiet, very comfy bed. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The only thing is that breakfast could be a better variety. It was good food but limited options with someone with dietary restrictions.

We have stayed here three times. It's clean and quiet and has great breakfast. My only suggestion is getting new mattresses. None of us slept well because the mattresses were so worn out.
