Secluded and Lovely view of the Columbia River, clean, mini kitchenette built in: microwave and refrigerator. We were only there one night but really enjoyed.

This was our first time staying at this property and we will definitely stay again. It was easy to find, quiet and clean. No complaints. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Being on the river front makes it extra nice. We didn't have a river front view, but next time it's a must.

This is a real gem. Everything is nicely appointed, the beds are very comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great. The grounds are very nicely landscaped and the view is fabulous!

We loved that this room was at a lodge that is tucked back away from the noise and lights of Hood River. It offers a beautiful view of the Columbia and has a King sized bed with a kitchenette - all things we were looking for. It was pretty quiet overall and clean. It looks to have been recently remodeled. That being said, we have a couple of things we did not like about the room. For one, we reserved this room with two adults and one nine year old child. The table only had two chairs. We like to eat together as a family (why we got a kitchenette) so it seemed strange that it was missing a chair. When I called down to the front desk, the girl who answered seemed puzzled and said the maintenance guy had left for the day already but she would call him. She called back to say she had left him a voicemail and would "look around" for another chair. We never heard back from her. Our son had to eat his dinner by himself on the couch on the coffee table which isn't the end of the world, but would have been an easy fix. Why offer a room with two beds that sleeps four with only two chairs?!? Another observation is that there is only one ceiling light for the whole living area/bedroom/kitchen area. There are zero lights over the kitchen. We like to cook our meals because it saves money but this kitchen seemed like an afterthought. There was one very tiny bottle (like travel sized) of dish soap, no dish towels- just one hand towel, no measuring cups or spoons and one tiny garbage can.

A little outdated and the staff gave us the wrong room key but the end were very comfortable and the property was very nice and wonderful to walk around and view the river.

Great location with wonderful biews of the River Frequent freight trains pass by in the night but quietly. Lots of transmitted sounds from other rooms in the form of foot steps, door closing and showers running

Wonderful facility and location. My room looked out on the Columbia River and the beautiful grounds behind the hotel. Walk along upper bank to look out at river, sitting areas for conversations, and more. The room was lovely with extremely comfortable bed and pillows, nice linens, bathroom fully outfitted with toiletries, excellent TV channel choices and the crowning items ... a wine opener and glasses. I will definitely be back!

The room was comfortable, clean and the lodge location was great. I-84 was noisy but windows kept out most of the noise. The fan in the bathroom was on all the time with a green light that flashed on and off. That was a problem. I was told basically, there was nothing that could be done. The window above the back door let in a lot of light - the neighbor kept their porchlight on all night which in addition to early morning light was unpleasant. We did have a fine time. The grounds are beautiful.

We had an amazing view of the Columbia River; room was exceptionally clean, and very quiet. Our only issue was there isn't enough light in the kitchen when cooking, but we made do (the room had a full size stove and refrig, so we were happy!).

Very nice little hotel right off the highway and close to downtown with quiet, green grounds for strolling and great view of the river. Very clean and comfortable. Reasonable price as well. We will make it a regular stop on our way to the coast.

The only problem we had was the heater made horrible noises all night. It definitely needed to be replaced. But I would still stay just in a different room.

The check-in and check-out process was seamless. While we didn’t have a direct view of the river from our cottage, it was mere steps away. The cottage was spacious and quiet.
