Ridiculously overpriced for what it offers, I actually thought I had reserved the hotel across the street from this one. Running water was dark and dirty, we couldn’t even shower. The place is old and not maintained. The bathroom was stinky, sink was probably older than me, as well as the mattresses. You have to pay extra if you want to have access to wifi, and there’s no signal in that area. The only good thing about the “hotel” was Janet, the receptionist. We’re never going back.

Bien sin ser Excelente, no había nadie a la llegada que nos indicara donde estaba el lobby , la chica q nos atendió mal genio sin llegar a ser grosera , poco amable , nos tocó temperatura -4 grados , y no logramos encender el calenton, no había teléfono en la habitación para pedir ayuda y estaba lloviendo para salir y preguntar .

I called Expedia wanting to update my reservation on the Expedia platform only to get disconnected 😡. I was having trouble updating my reservation on the app to include a double occupancy. the app did not have my reservation! We ended up having to pay more due this inefficiency. The worst part was calling Expedia customer service, only to get hug up on.

Estancia muy agradable en la Barranca del cobre
Muy bonito hotel. Muy campirano. El Único detalle es que no tiene restaurante aunque ofrecen el servicio de traslado gratuito y rápido al hotel hermano donde hay excelente bar y restaurante. Recomiendo ampliamente contratar los alimentos incluidos pues no hay cerca otros lugares para comer

Acceso al hotel Mirador y su restaurante con vistas a la Barranca del Cobre. Buena calefacción y mantenimiento del cuarto. Sería mejor que tuvieran WiFi en lugar de TV por Cable y mejorar Colchones de las Camas

The hotel and staff are top notch. Some amenities where not available on site. I would note that the location is rural so cell service can be splotchy. Great place to unplug from the world around us

Avoid Balderrama Collection Hotels!
Careful with this hotel, they don’t have a coffee machine in the whole hotel, heaters don’t work, forniture is old with the excuse it’s rustic, there is no cell data and barely signal for calls, there’s no internet, they say that it’s not working for now but reviews from 2017 saying the same. There is bad attitude from the personnel there, cleaned up our room and they didn’t put more toilet paper, it’s so close to train station that you will hear it on your head so loud at midnight and 6 am. Parking lot is so tight and personnel sey, you can park wherever you want. There’s no food, coffee or bar there, with the excuse you go to their most expensive hotel near there, where they will charge you 20 dollars for a dinner, that the accountant of the hotel described that has meat, poultry and salads, having grilled chicken, ground meat, spaghetti and a salad with only tomatoes and lettuce... and they charge you for drinks on top. Stay there as a last resort. Avoid Balderrama Collection Hotels, they serve you cheap and charge you expensive.

No me gusto que no encontraban mi reserva. Deberian solo dedicarse al hotel mirador. La recepcionista no se si tuvo un fia complicado o estaba enojada.

Extremely disappointed
Service Desk personnel lack basic communication skills, sense of service, attitude and helpfulness. Shuttle drivers are really helpful though. They allegedly offer food but you need to go to the neighboring hotel to get anything (20 min walk) and it’s only in service during really specific hours. I definitely didn’t feel welcomed here and will at all costs avoid any other hotels from the Balderrama group.

El hotel es muy bonito y cómodo, tienes que saber que al hospedarte ahí no hay nada que puedas comer a los alrededores, hay servicio de restaurante pero para ello debes avisar a recepción para que te lleven a otro de los hoteles de la misma cadena y los precios son altos por una cena de tres tiempos. Por lo demás si quieres descansar y relajarte al maximo este es el lugar!! El traslado a la estación del tren (incluído en el precio) fue excelente, nos apoyaron hasta que partimos en el tren!! Muy bien 👌

Aunque en nuestra estancia había neblina y no sentí podían observar las barrancas, creo que las zona del restaurant es estupenda. No me gusto que los números que aparecen en app de Expedía no son los teléfonos directos del hotel

Las habitaciones están bien y están limpias, pero los servicios muy caros, te cobran por todo, hasta por la botella de agua que te dejan en la habitación, el wifi, el restaurant demasiado caro también y la comida no está buena, no hay menú te sirven lo que haya, cervezas en 120 presos en el restaurant, no hay otros lugares cerca para comer.
