Had a great weekend here. All staff is really nice and very professional. Food was good. Location is perfect and sea view from the rooms is wonderful. Would definitely suggest booking treatments early on. The spa has relatively little staff and outside visitors will book treatments too so weekends are particularly busy. Same goes for the restaurant. There is another hotel next door which is for families and part of the same company so during the holidays you can expect more tired parents visit the spa from the other hotel. Parking can also be challenging and the car park seems to be have more spaces just after breakfast when many guests venture out. Overall though a very pleasant stay in a well run hotel. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and spa treatments were surprisingly good too. Can't complain at all.

Great location so close to Fistral beach and within walking distance to the other beaches and town. Amazing view from the room and dining ro at breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and professional. Only negative was the window in the room couldn’t close completely which meant very cold air blowing in overnight Hotel has two 7kW ev chargers, only one was in working order while I was there. Recommend.

Most amazing 2 night break EVER!!
Everything was amazing. Originally booked one night but decided to stay for 2. Breakfast was 2nd to none! Service was friendly and welcoming. All staff happy, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Super fabulous spa facilities and accessible all through the day until late which was great. Room was spacious with plenty of everything needed. Bed was super comfy. We have absolutely ZERO complaints!!!

too short abreak in a lovely hotel
Lovely 2 night stay for business, staff absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast lovely and excellent poached eggs. Staff in the dining room again very friendly and so on the ball. Had a couple of treatments and they were fantastic, had rhianne both times, excellent. will definitely stay again.

An exceptional hotel and a favourite of ours as a couple .All the staff are amazing and service is impeccable. We had breakfast which is a wide selection and also ate at the restaurant which was a treat . There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally and Beach a minutiae away !

Great location But!!
Great setting but our non Sea view room was quite small. Everything was clean, spa!!! Pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. But quite small with on 3 chairs no recliners or place to relax as in other spas I have visited

A beautiful spot to relax
What a lovely place to relax. The decor is amazing. The rooms are clean and fresh and comfortable. Well serviced daily. The restaurant was great. Jack looked after us so well at dinner. The pool is also great. Fab location for a beach day. We will definitely return.

the food in the restaurant was quite good thankfully. the room rate was way high as the mattress was very hard causing morning back pain for my wife & myself. The pillows were like old tea bags - horrible. Linens were mediocre at best. the room (315) wasn’t clean, there were weird crumbs on the bed upon check in. Excellent view - I guess that’s what we paid for? The hotel felt run down in general. Really disappointing overall. Very expensive but def not worth it.

The staff made this a guaranteed 5 star stay

Really recommend this hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to when we left. Was delightful to be child free for a few days. Spa treatments were excellent. Come here if you're looking for a grown up beach break with spectacular views, lovely (albeit sometimes blustery, but that added to the fun) walks over the headlands and yummy restaurants in easy walking distance. We particularly liked being this side of Newquay for Crantock Beach behind the hotel, really really pretty. The crab and prawn sandwiches at the Fern Pit Cafe were to die for. But you were still easy walking distance to the Town Centre. Dinner and drinks at Lewinnick Lodge just up the road was fabulous. We also hopped on the coastal bus to Padstow for the afternoon one day which we also recommend, but make sure you book a taxi weeks in advance if you're coming home late (highly recommend Rick Stein's seafood restaurant there - nom!) as getting a taxi back was the only hassle of our trip.
