A lovely stay- hotel has a nice feel to it. Room Was very small and thin walls, but fine for us for one night. Spa facilities were great and we enjoyed all food and drink on site. A mixture of welcomes from The staff which slightly tainted it.

From our arrival for a 3 night stay! We felt at home. Staff were friendly and chatty. The meals were of good quality and choice. Use of the "health center"was included in the offer.

Idyllic setting
A very comfortable place to stay in a lovely area. Good room with a view. Breakfast was great. We were able to walk easily to Falmouth for restaurants and shops. Only drawback is the limited parking, but we found street parking nearby.

cannot recommend enough!
2nd time staying here for business and it never disappoints. The standard or room and cleanliness is brilliant, you can tell a real effort is made to make the guests feel comfortable. Parking is always tight here and the gym and pool are used by non-residents too but the P&D car park over the road is fine. Evening food was brilliant and breakfast is one of the best around! The gym is fantastic, one of the best facilities ive used in a hotel and the pool never seems too busy. Will always stay here when in the area for work

Could have been better
Overall the hotel was nice and well located. The kitchen was going through some changes but this was never explained to us, just heard it from other guests complaining. Breakfast took about an hour and a half the first day, it was more timely on the other 2 days. But the whole breakfast experience just could have been so much slicker, plates and bowls were always scarce, the staff just seemed disorganised.

st michael's offer great deals for a break with pleasant helpful staff but you will be shocked at the prices for food and drinks particularly.I ended up eating out in Falmouth where i had great food and drinks at a fraction of the price

The view was amazing, the spa center and the service also! The only 2 things that I didn’t liked where that first people at breakfast where sitting to close to each other… and it was loudy..so no good idea if you wish a realexed breakfast :) And second, there where sooo many people at the health center (not Hotel guests) so there was no space for us as hotel guests!!

Overall excellent but marred by some overpricing.
4 nights, rooms & hotel very clean indeed, bed very comfortable, bedroom quiet, heating in room good. Plenty of staff and all were really excellent. Breakfast was good, quite a lot of choice, reasonably cooked, although we have had slightly better elsewhere. Food in the Garden Room restaurant was very good and suitably priced. The main restaurant was totally overpriced for what was on offer, the service and environment were however good. I consider £5.00 for a bottle of still/sparkling water was rediculous. A single bottle was provided FOC in the room on our first night but was not replaced. A cheaper water, replaced nightly, would be more appropriate. Parking hardly sufficient and resticted space.

Amazing hotel. Staff are great and the room was superb. Will definitely be back. Went to a local restaurant and wasn’t so good, however the restaurants in the hotel were great and a very quick walk to the beach and coop for any small needs. Overall very impressed with our stay.

Shabby room leaking ceiling.
We arrived and took our things to our room and we unpacked. My husband noticed that the room was shabby and the walls were dirty and marked and also that there was a large crack in the ceiling. Still we left our things and went out for the evening and didn’t return until later. When we returned we discovered that our bed was totally soaked as were most of my clothes which I had left in a neat like in the bed. We realised the crack in the ceiling was a leak coming from the room above. This was not the first time this must have happened. The bed and mattress were soaked. We had to find a night porter I was in my pjs and we had to wait until he could find a place for us. It is disgusting that they put us in this room. When they moved us we had no loo roll no toiletries or towels and no tea coffee facilities. It was very stressful and around 2am when we went to bed.

Not 4 star service asps far as I am concerned
Unfortunately we couldn’t go as my wife was taken ill. however the service I received was diabolical. It took them over 24 hours to respond to an email and I tried to phone on Saturday 21st October the answerphone message stated that their phone lines stopped at 4pm each day. I was amazed. As a past President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers I have stayed in many Hotels and have never heard of this. Judging by the level of service I think it is a good job we didn’t go.

Stayed for 3 nights. I had really high expectations for this hotel and needed the R&R. The images and reviews boast blissful relaxation and feet-up mentality. When we arrived to the room, there were old/used dirty towels, that I can only imagine were from previous occupants - not a great start as instantly undermined confidence that any proper cleaning had taken place. The Safe also would not work and had an error which seemed to imply the previous occupants code was still registered and therefore left this unusable. I reported the safe issue, along with cleaning and towel issue to reception and was told someone would sort it while we were out and would make every effort to show good-will about these issues to regain trust and confidence in our stay. No-one came, no resolution to the safe was done. This fundamentally set the tone for the rest of the stay; Bitterly Disappointed. Good points: Location Breakfast Facilities (gym/pool were very busy) Adult-focused Bad points: Staff / Management. Clearly, some staff were there taking advantage of the feet-up mentality. Shared sundeck spaces. Beds=Rock hard (I have a firm bed at home, but these took firmness to an uncomfortable level). -Pillows=too soft/nothing to them. -Construction in the car park -Busy Gym and Pool facilities shared by locals Conclusion: I can't recommend St Michaels Resort, until some of the issues are resolved, I just felt not looked after, poorly rested and as a result, slightly annoyed / ripped-off.

Good food and sea views.
Wanted to spend a few days in Falmouth and picked St Michael’s because the pool looked nice! It was. Nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Always happy to help. Lovely views from the front of the hotel. Not a lot of car parking. We only took the car out once on our 3 night stay. On return got a space that was awkward to get into.
