Thank you for the review, we did sort the issues that you raised at the time of your stay with us, we explained that the extractor fan is switched off every evening by 9pm, so this would not hinder your sleep, we gave you a mirror for the bedroom, the bed is just 1 year old and the mattress is only 9 months old so no idea why it creaked, there are three plug sockets in room 3??? We are sorry that you were not happy with your stay, we thought when we spoke with you that all was fine?

Thank you for leaving a review, we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, we would like to think that you could have mentioned any of theses issues during your stay as it is difficult to sort anything out when a guest has departed, with regards to the bed it is a zip and link bed which means the two 5 ft beds link together via a zip system affording the bed to be a king size bed or if needed two larger singles, we would never just have two beds pushed together as out health & safety would not permit this! the works being carried out were not on our premises and we were not informed of any work taking place either so we can only apologise for this, our building is old pre-1925 we do redecorate every winter, but obviously the building is old and is very busy so some areas may be in need of painting, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sorry about the seagulls unfortunately living by the sea we do tend to be over-run especially during the summer months when they are as you say nesting! Our rooms are checked every day we are sorry that the light was missed.

Thank you for your review, we are an old hotel/INN this building is actually two houses which were changed into a hotel in 1925, there is no room for a lift to be installed so we are sorry that this caused you difficulties during your stay with us, we pride ourselves on being a good clean family run INN and whilst we only have a small car park at least we have one...there is always the option to park for free on the promenade, most hotels and B+B's in the area do not have parking on site, we do hope these issues have been answered for you, kind regards the lugger!

Thank you for your review, yes, we do from time to time have fuctions here however the entertainment finishes 12 midnight prompt and the bar is 1am, our diary is always open for any enquiries with regards to entertainment here, we do our very best to move guests if they ask us to.

Thank you for your review, our building is very old and our boiler is on the ground floor, the room in which you stayed is in the eves of the INN therefore the pressure can vary at times especially if we have a full INN, we are sorry that you experienced this, with regards to the food not being fresh, we source all our food products locally and all are cooked to order so we are not sure what your issue was and we hope that you complained at the time as we are sure that we would have acted accordingly.

It beggar's belief that reviews are written but there is no engagement with the business, it is only a small minority but why not raise any issues at the time? You don't take a car to a mechanic and just leave it to be fixed without explaining what is wrong. If brought to our attention we would have rectified it or offered a different room. Not disputing the little things like the shower and head and the remote, but all was corrected in a few minutes. The chairs were new but different people have different expectation of comfort and is the first we have received.As for the décor v the images, we certainly have not changed or doctored any images, and update them as soon as we can if there are any major changes. Communication seems to be a dying art
