I really liked the spa pool, in the lush gardens, just beautiful. The view on the front deck overlooking the sea, stunning. Great hosts, and a lovely breakfast. The hosts advised there was a market in town, which I really enjoyed.

The hosts were wonderful, very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfasts were delicious; cooked eggs, fresh fruits, a range of breads, muesli and yoghurt. Lovely B&B, would be glad to stay here again.

A most friendly stay
Wonderfull hosts and a great breakfast. The spar pool was lovely under a star lit night. Bed wee bit hard but overall would highly recommend. The view for breakfast is of the sea and coast- a great last impression of the stay.

Close to beach
Nice place friendly hosts and good breakfast. Very close to beach, but on a busy road. The only hard part was to get into the property coming from Thames. However there was no road noise during the night.

It is not always easy to find dog-friendly accommodation where the two-leggeds are also treated with warmth. Great hosts, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast.

Great view; comfortable place.
Janet and Peter were splendid hosts in their lovely B&B (see pictires of view from front snd back porches). Good breakfasts served to guests. We from the U.S., a young German couple, and a mother/daughter pair. Peter helped us plan our activities. Have a jacuzzy that we used. Highly recommend

Friendly welcoming hosts - superb location... we stayed in the fern room which on the website looked somewhat dark .. but we were pleasantly surprised to find exactly the opposite.... and the bedding smelled freshly laundered!! Would recommend this bnb to anyone ....

Hot tub in the backyard with beautiful garden, deck with table and BBQ. Room was clean and warm. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, ate out on the front deck overlooking the bay. Owners were very nice and accommodating.

Gorgeous Ocean View!
We wanted a home base for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula and this was perfect! Located across the road from the beach with awesome views (and a little road noise), we easily saw the sights in Coromandel Town. The breakfasts were outstanding with shirred eggs, lox, avocado and sliced tomato, toast, cereals, yogurt, etc. and all this was enjoyed on the deck with the gorgeous ocean view. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating with access to a private rear garden deck with barbeque and rain forest landscape. The free laundry was a big welcome plus! Watch for flag and sign on wall that can be obscured by passing cars when coming from Thames.

This was a great bed and breakfast stay. The room was private with our own modern bathroom, access to an outdoor patio space, and plenty of room to lay out our extensive luggage. It was a short drive into Thames for dinner, and had a great breakfast buffet the next morning with the hosts. They recommended a lovely seaside drive to get back into Auckland that extended our pleasant stay. Highly recommend it and would stay here again.

Excellent stopover on the Firth of Thames
A wonderful stop after a long days driving. Host and hostess very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent together with a very interesting chat with the host.

Excellent B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our hosts and bonus to meet a local artist-our host Jenny. Breakfast was very good. Being so close to the ocean was nice

Could not have hoped for a nicer stay. Janet and Peter are friendly and Fred the dog was a special friend to me. Clever little guy knows not to go into guest rooms.

Wonderful hosts!
Peter and Janet were gracious and helpful hosts. Peter gave us great suggestions about what to see in the area and good advice about scenic and practical routes. Peter lent us a shovel and beach towels so we could go to Hot Water Beach. My wife and I really enjoyed talking to Peter and Janet and learned much about the local area as well as New Zealand. A most enjoyable stay!

这次是和妈妈两个人旅游，新西兰已经玩遍了，这是第一次住民宿，一线海景房，且试一次非常好的体验。Peter 非常和蔼可亲，当天晚上我们去的比较晚，他一直在等候我们。房间不值得非常温馨，日用品用的都是很不错的东西，床也很舒适。第二天的早饭为我和妈妈两个人准备一大桌东西供我们自己选择，搞得像酒店一样的自助式早餐，早饭在大阳台上吃，全海景。之后还带我们去玩了站立式的冲浪板，我觉得这是个不错的全身运动。妈妈非常喜欢这里，说下次要去那多住几天好好享受享受！

Awesome B&B right across from the Ocean
Peter was a great host offering us a wine on arrival while we talk about dinner recommendations and trip plans. The breakfast also had a great visit with Peter while we enjoyed watching a wind/rain storm and the ocean pounding the coast. It was fun to see. We'd definitely recommend this B&B.

Beautiful setting and hosts.
Charming hosts, a very comfortable room with a lovely hot tub on the deck. Very quiet setting just off the beach with the most amazing views. Wonderful location to base from for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula.

Comfy B & B in good location
After a welcoming cup of tea upon arrival in the afternoon, my husband and I went for a walk along the scenic beach right across the road, the wonderful views of which were also seen from the breakfast room. Peter and Janet were great hosts and Peter joined us at the breakfast he prepared the next morning, which included scrambled eggs, sliced avocado, smoked salmon, fresh fruit and yogurt and various breads to toast. There was a lively discussion at breakfast, which included the best coffee we had in our 3 1/2 week trip, with folks from Finland and the US, in addition to lifelong New Zealander Peter and we Canadians. A memorable stay!

Nice Stay with Nice Host
Room is clean and neat. Attached bathroom is also clean with all the toiletries. Nice location to take a stroll along the shore. Parking is just in front of the room. Host is very friendly and made us feel at Home. Host also provided cooked breakfast to start our day. Overall nice stay with nice host.

Great little place by the sea. Our room was comfortable and very clean. It said it was a private bath but unless someone was just lost it appeared to be shared. Met some fun people and our hosts were friendly and quite helpful with suggestions for our trip.

Relaxing Seaside
Comfortable furnishings, great ocean view, loved dining on the deck, the hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking and our hosts were very accomodating.
