My friend and I recently stayed at Alegria Fenals Mar in Lloret de Mar. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. On our very first day, we were dismayed to discover black mold on the ceiling of our room, which had a detrimental effect on our health. The musty odor was overwhelming, making our stay uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our peace, prompting us to cut our stay short and leave on Sunday instead of Monday. While the hotel did change our room on Friday morning due to the mold issue, we were disappointed that there was no compensation for the inconvenience caused. The situation significantly impacted our vacation, turning what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable time into a rather unpleasant and wasted experience. Despite these setbacks, I must commend the hotel for its breakfast service and the kindness of its staff. The breakfast was a bright spot during our stay, and the staff members were genuinely nice and friendly, doing their best to make us feel welcome. In conclusion, our stay at Alegria Fenals Mar was marred by issues such as black mold, an uncomfortable musty smell, and disruptive noise from neighboring rooms. While the breakfast service and staff were commendable, these positives unfortunately could not salvage what turned out to be a disappointing and regrettable holiday.

Très bon dans l’ensemble
4 jours passés en demi pension dans cet hôtel. L’établissement est à 2min à pied de la mer. Le personnel est très accueillant et agréable. Petit déjeuner et dîner assez bon et varié. Hotel pour 1 ou 2 nuits mais pas plus . Nous sommes resté 8 jours mais trop . Murs en papier insonorisation zero . On entends tout . Vu sur les poubelles du restaurant avec des buits incessants de claquement de couvercle de poubelle. Alarme incendie déclenchée 3 fois en 1 semaine donc 2 fois la nuit . Petit déjeuner tres mediocre, jus d'orange en poudre idem pour le café. Mini croissants et chocolatines congelés et vraiment pas bon . Repas du soir toujours la meme chose et pas top, ne donne meme pas d'eau en carafe, il faut acheter sa bouteille d'eau. Trop de monde autour de la piscine et pas de transat disponible. Les chambres vraiment tres petites et limite insalubres . Pas de place pour ranger les valises,pas un seul porte manteau. On cherche les prises une a cote du lit et l'autre au milieu mais pas plus!... seche cheveux a cote de toilette,obligé de tirer sur le cable pour se voir un peu dans le miroir. Personnels ne parle pas du tout plusieurs langues comme indiqué dans le descriptif. Le oui y'en a quand meme 1 . A proximité de la plage et des commerces mais c'est tout. Je ne recommande pas du tout ( hotel a fric )

Struttura vicino al mare ma purtroppo con personale alla reception che non parla e non capisce l'italiano Un giorno la nostra camera non è stata pulita abbiamo avvisato il personale ma non è stato fatto nulla per rimediare. I muri sono di carton gesso e si sentono tutti i rumori. L'unica persona che si salva è Marcela in sala a colazione molto gentile. Non consiglio questo hotel.

Bonito y barato.
Un hotel bastante tranquilo y una buena ubicación si quieres ir a la playa de Fenals. La comida del desayuno estaba deliciosa y la habitación y todas las comodidades estaban de lujo para ser de 3 estrellas.

Está ubicado en una zona tranquila de Lloret, cumplió las expectativas, buena limpieza, cómodo y agradable. Lo único malo por mejorar es que en los botes de gel y shampoo había lo mismo(fué facil de identificar)

En general todo muy bien, tuvimos un mal entendido con un trabajador pero se solucionó inmediatamente con un resultado satisfactorio, lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

Ich war mit meiner Tochter 10 Tage im Hotel Alegria fenals mar. Die Sauberkeit, das Personal, die Einrichtung und vorallem die Lage war "TOP". Personal ist sehr nett aber spricht kein Deutsch. Ohne Englisch ist man aufgeschmissen🙄 DAS ESSEN WAR ABER SEHR SCHLECHT!!! Es gab wenig Auswahl und es war nur lauwarm, teils kaltes Essen. 🙄 Oftmals haben wir draußen gegessen, weil es so schlecht war. Das müsste unbedingt gebessert werden. Kaltes Essen geht nicht!!!!!!! Strand ist nur 2 min entfernt und sehr schön, klares sauberes Wasser, feiner Kieselsand, aber angenehm. In dieser Umgebung ist nicht viel los, es ist sehr ruhig und ordentliches, günstiges Essen ist sehr schwer zu finden. Man muss dann schon auf die andere Seite runter zur Partymeile von Lloret de mar laufen, da gibt's alles. Domino Pizza, Burger King, Mc Donalds usw... Auto kann man auch mieten, es gibt genug Anbieter, aber die beste Autovermietung ist FAURIA 👍👍👍 SEHR NETT UND FAIRE PREISE. Wenn das Essen jetzt noch gestimmt hätte, was ja auch wichtig ist, dann wäre es ein TOP Aufenthalt gewesen.

Excellent location, nice, helpful, multilingual staff. The room where we stayed was small but cosy and quite comfortable. View from the balcony was stunning.

Nice hotel close to beach
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We only stayed 4 nights staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had bed and breakfast but all inclusive is also an option. Buffet restaurant with hot food available and only a 5 minute walk to the beach with a good variety of bars and shops nearby .

Hotel proche de la place..bien situé..
En arrivant...assez bonne impression..Hotel pas mal situé...parking extérieur gratuit mais nombre de places limitées.. Sinon..hôtel très très très bruyant...cuisine très répétitive..au petit déj. Les oeufs et omelette souvent faits à l'avance..entassés dans une assiette..aucune cuisine locale..ni espagnole d'ailleurs..beaucoup de plats manquant si on arrive déjà seulement une demi heure après ouverture..très bruyant..aucune insonorisation dans les chambres..vétusté des salles de bain..tuyauteries très bruyante...le soir beaucoup de bruit tard en bas et dans l'hôtel..aucune surveillance.. un grand zéro pour les animations..nous avons dû même aller dans un autre hotel pour la soirée flamenco.. Le seul point positif est la terasse extérieure et seulelement à une certaine heure (entre 19h00 et 22h00..) mais avec les fauteuils extérieus très sales.. Bref, sur 10, je donnerais 2 en faisant un effort...pas du tout reccommandable..de plus nous nous sommes sentis vraiment isolés...

Almost perfect holiday
The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is hit and miss, but i didn't expect to like everything. The beach is really close, 5 min walk and the center of Lloret de mar is 15 min walk from the hotel. If you don't want to walk, there are close near by bus stops. There are enough restaurants and bars if you don't want to go to the center. As a whole the place was quiet and me and my girlfriend like the area. As the title suggest we had some issues. The first was the beach. The sand is not really a sand, but really small pebbles. It wasn't pleasant to walk, but we eventually got used to it. The biggest problem from the whole holiday was the pipes in the hotel. Me and my girlfriend like to sleep a lot, but when someone decide to take a shower 6 am , it's not fun. I can hear the water right next to my head. Like I'm there in the bathroom. The last 2 days someone was in the shower for 20-30 min and we were awake through that time. Despite that I still recommend the hotel, because the area, staff, food etc, but keep the noise in mind

Basic 3 Star Poor Food
Good location but not much else to praise. We were very disappointed with the food, cheap ingredients, ran out half way through the serving, queues for everything. We struggled some evenings to find much to eat and went out to eat in local restaurants. However breakfasts were good despite long queues for juice and coffee. Room was basic, small, no dressing table, tiny shelf in dark bathroom..so nowhere to put anything. Balcony small overlooking kitchen service area and bins.

bon séjour sans l'agitation du centre ville. Cadre agréable personnel toujours souriant et disponible. Manque un peu de musique vers la piscine. Repas bon mais peu variés, on s'en lasse vite. A la hauteur d'un trois étoiles. Manque d'insonorisation dans les chambres , on entend les personnes qui prennent leur douche ! L'hôtel est calme dans son ensemble, mais cela reste aléatoire en fonction de la civilité de vos voisins !

Poniżej oczekiwań.
Raczej zawiedziony. Na wejściu znaczny stopień zużycia łazienki (odpływ wanny oklejony, uszczelniony dużą warstwą silikonu - gdzie higiena, ogólnie zużyte wyposażenie sanitarne), ręczniki niby czyste ale stopień zużycia prosi o wymianę na nowe. Jedzenie - obsługa nie daje rady z przygotowaniem stolików, często nie nakryte dla nowych i nieposprzątane po gościach którzy wyszli, również braki w bufecie szwedzki (puste nie uzupełniane na czas tace i półmiski). To tyle na nie, poza tym obsługa sympatyczna, szczególnie w barze. Niezła lokalizacja.

Our stay was a lot better than we thought after reading previous reviews, hotel was beautiful, clean, comfy and in a great location. Only small problem the hotel next door we’re re- doing their pool so it got a little loud at times, but that’s not the fenals mar fault.
