We loved our stay at Hotel La Bisaccia. All the staff were lovely and very welcoming. The reception staff helped us book a tour to La Maddalena island which saved us money and was a better tour than the one we had booked ourselves. We had a fantastic renovated room with a sea view. It is a very short walk to the restaurants in Baja Sardinia. We did not do the full board option but all our meals at the hotel were great quality - better than most of the other meals we had in town. The two beach options are very convenient - one rocky private beach and one sandy public beach with hotel beach lounges. We enjoyed both options. Would throughly recommend and hope to be back.

Das Hotel ist ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Der Pool ist von seiner Grösse und Tiefe gut zum Schwimmen geeignet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unbedingt im Hauptgebäude Zimmer mit Meersicht buchen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Für Liebhaber von frischem Seafood sollte die Menukarte noch etwas ausgebaut werden. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis bewerten wir mit 8 von 10 Punkten.

This hotel was in a great location--very near walkable small shopping area. There was a sandy beach as well as a rocky beach that was private and perfect for swimming. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. There was a wonderful on-site physician to help with an urgent medical problem. Pool was salt-water and very clean.

Good Hotel but not as good as it used to be. The hotel is much more 'commercial' now. Meals aren't as good as they once were for example you have to pay extra for a whole fish, there isn't a desert buffet anymore. Also the hotel has made a decision to let anyone use the 1st 2 rows of the private beach - this isn't a private beach anymore. The hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear and but still one of the best in the area. My advice would be to go to Stella Maris in Villasimius - for the same price it's much better and less commercial. The staff are brilliant at the hotel. Super friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent!! Everything about this stay was exceptional from the inclusive breakfast, cleanliness, staff, pool area, distance to the beach. Highly recommend this hotel, it made our trip!

ein gut gelegenes Hotel
Direkt am Meer liegt das Hotel Bisaccia. Ein großartiges Hotel mit einer grossen Poolanlage und vielen kleinen Buchten am Meer die optimal zum Relaxen sind. Der Haupttrakt mit den Superior Zimmer ist toll. Die anderen Zimmer eher in die Jahre gekommen. Das Restaurant und die Frühstück Area mit einer sensationellen Aussicht. Was aber das Hotel wirklich ausmacht ist das "Personal" alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Rezeption immer hilfsbereit und mit guten Tipps vollgespickt. Von der Lage her ist das Hotel vor allem umgeben von sehr guten Restaurants, die man zu Fuss oder mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten erreicht. Am Abend an der Piazza ist immer was los und das Unterhaltungsprogramm von Live-Musik und DeeJay fehlt auch nie.

Great location with amazing views over the bay. Lovely pool area and surrounding grounds with access to small beach too. Easy to walk into the small centre for restaurants and bars. The rooms were very clean, refurbished and modern but it would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities. Service was excellent with staff very welcoming and always available to help.

Great place to stay in Costa Smerelda
The only downside is the salt water swimming pool which we found just too strong to swim in. The beach and the water made up for it of course but it was a shame.

4th or 5th visit to this Hotel
The key "shout" for this Hotel is quiet and relaxation. I would normally round this off with excellent food, however they seem to have cut the budget somewhat. On our previous visits we used to be offered an alternative Main course of fresh grilled fish every evening, this was a BIG plus for me and my wife, it made the evening meal a real highlight, not anymore, no alternative fish course now. Instead I'm afraid there are disclaimers on the menu about fish offered (as part of a "normal" course) an asterisk here, an asterisk there, proclaims "may be frozen". Definitely frozen and not a patch compared. Oh! And the glorious Grana Padano wheel of cheese also missing from the breakfast buffet, also while plentiful, food has been subject to the bean counters cuts. The General staff here are possibly the best anywhere I have stayed, lots of familiar faces over the years, all fastidious in their goal to please.

Super hotel. 7 nights B&B. Eat at a different restaurant in town each evening. Very restful. Great staff but the wi-fi was rubbish!

Air conditioning doesn’t work
Gorgeous views, clean/nice rooms. Biggest complaint were the rooms air system. Spewed out hot air the entire stay during the peak of summer, rooms were unbearably hot. If you opened the balcony/doors windows it would get a little cooler however you’ll wake up with bug bites everywhere. So its a catch 22

- personale molto cordiale e disponibile - posizione dell'albergo ottima, vicino al mare e a due passi dal centro paese - cucina eccellente - bagno con vasca da bagno e tenda doccia.....orribile, se tutte le camere sono così sarebbero assolutamente da ristrutturare e modernizzare completamente - comunque complessivamente un ottimo albergo, ci torneremo senz'altro volentieri ma chiederemo senz'altro prima di assegnarci una camera con box doccia e non con vasca e tenda

Hervorragende Lage, tolles Essen und super Service
Ruhige und super schöne Lage am Meer. Unser Zimmer war leider renovierungsbedürftig, zudem war nur eine Steckdose im ganzen Raum vorhanden, für je 2 Smartphone/ Tablets und Kameraakkuladegerät viel zu wenig! Dusche, Duschvorhang, WC und Waschbecken waren vollkommen veraltet. Der gute Service und das immer freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal in Verbindung mit dem hervorragenden Essen haben dies aber wett gemacht. Die Lage des Hotels ist grandios und die Gartenanlage ist sehr gut gepflegt und schön gestaltet.

You are paying for the fabulous view..worth it!
Can't beat the view..breathtaking! The hotel is old and needs repair. The picture of the room we were booking was a newer room than the one we got....not pleased.with this deception! It was obviously end of season...planters were dried out, hotel was dead! Loved the old charm and the attentive staff....thank goodness for the staff!

Relaxed stay
Great hotel. Really good location, close to beach, nice walk after dinner to the town of a few hundred yards. Evening meals really good. Staff very warm and friendly. I'd stay again in this town at this hotel. Seawater pool is better than chlorine!

This is a great resort. Great location.
The hotel has everything you need. It is very clean. The staff work their socks off and are exceptional. All staff. The hotel's private beach is beautifully maintained as is the pool and everything you might need is catered for. The food is good and abundant. A different 4 course menu every night for our 7 night experience with an additional substantial buffet of salads, quiches, bruschetta and regional dishes plus rolls, fruit, grissini and much much more. The pool is huge. The sun beds are comfortable and there are other seating areas dotted about in the abundant grounds in the shade and the sun. A small point, the hotel pool is very salty which is their method of purification.

Baja er et meget sjarmerende og vakkert sted. Vi reiser gjerne tilbake og vil da velge samme hotell, La Bisaccia. Hotellet har veldig hyggelig betjening, flotte uteområder, meget god mat og best beliggenhet i Baja. Vil anbefale rom med havutsikt og halvpensjon.

A lovely relaxing hotel
The grounds to this hotel are fantastic, there is a lovely pool, but even better the private access the the beach is great, the grounds are so spread out it is easy to find a place around the coast to relax, and not be overcrowded. Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Baja Sardinia where there are several bars and restaurants to eat. We stayed B&B, the breakfasts were plentiful with a lot of choice. The evening piano playing was not to our taste catering for an older crowd but nonetheless everyone else seemed to enjoy it. The reception staff were brilliant, we can't speak highly enough of them, our luggage was lost on our way, and they chased it up for us without us even asking them too. We had a standard double room, which was spacious and had a balcony with plenty of room. We would recommend this hotel

Buon albergo sulla spiaggia.
Aspetto principale è la posizione: di pochi alberghi che pubblicizzano la posizione sul mare, questo ha una posizione invidiabile. Spiaggia di sabbia riservata con lettini, teli e ombrelloni inclusi nel prezzo. La spiaggia si trova a sinistra dell'albergo, mentre a destra si può camminare tra scogli e prati dove ci si può sdraiare liberamente trovando sdrai o morbidi lettini sparsi qua e là. Potete cercare in questa zona diverse piccole callette molto riservate e romantiche. L'albergo di per se è datato, sia negli spazi comuni che nelle stanze. Tuttavia è tutto tenuto molto bene. Le stanze in particolare sono molto pulite e spaziose. Avevamo una stanza che dava sul mare con vista del tramonto sulla baia. Particolari secondo me degni di nota. Io sono andato in Sardegna per godermi la natura fantastica che offre. Unico punto che andrebbe migliorato per un 4 stelle è la cucina; di qualità mediocre. Nulla di improvvisato o di scarsa qualità, diciamo che altri hotel della zona esaltano molto di più l'ottima cucina sarda. Intrattenimento serale con musica al pianoforte piacevole ma un po' datata buona da sottofondo per un caffè al bar della piscina, niente più. Nel complesso la struttura non brilla per cucina e meriterebbe un po' di rinnovo locali. Ma credo sia un aspetto valido per tutti gli alberghi della costa smeralda. Il rapporto qualità prezzo e posizione è ottimo, altrimenti si risparmia o si trova un albergo più recente allontanandosi dal mare.
