The location is good , great access to local food, well secured at night, The front desk and housekeeping staff were very good, quite helpful, a pleasure to deal with, A second look at the unit maintenance will not be a bad idea , I will use again,,

I've been living in Trinidad for 4 years now and I literally book a room just to get away and it's absolutely fabulous the owner of this place is so cool they have a bar by the pool side which is very convenient the Workman there are amazing

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, they made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Some functional upgrades needed =doors, television, bathrooms Rooms are clean, cleaning under beds were neglected

The location is perfect Staff very very pleasant but the music and noise from nearby bar were ridiculous Didn't sleep for the both nights I was there. The hotel can do with some updates

Metro Hotel is a really homey sort of vibe and if you haven’t been to the Caribbean or aren’t used to it then you may not think that. They sometimes run a little short on supplies so bare with them especially around carnival however they keep up with your needs daily and are pretty friendly. The bathrooms are a “LITTLE” ehhh but again if you are used to living on or being in an island then your aware of how they operate and what their resources are

The room was big with 2 king beds comfortable But very noisy bathroom dirty very moldy We have to wait 3 nights to see the manager who changed our room to a convenient one . The breakfast service was not good not a lot of choices

I'll start with the positives- the location was perfect for me as I needed to be in Couva. Great proximity to pharmacies, groceries, doubles etc. People in Trinidad are very nice and greets you every time. Room was extremely spacious, excellent for my family of 4. King beds and lots of room to not feel on top of each other. Downsides- building is old, rusty shower heads, old floors in bathroom, some of the towels were dinge (my pet peeve) I took towels from my mom's house. All in all, it was perfect for me because the good outweighed the bad. I will always stay here.

I am impressed with the improvement of the included breakfast. My very first stay the options were limited, but management have provided more breakfast options. Staff continue to be friendly and helpful. I will continue to support this establishment

Quiet and enjoyable
Hotel is generally clean. Staff friendly and the accommodations are comfortable definitely worth more than the price with two king size beds and free local breakfast.

The staff was amazing and the was room adequate. The only thing that I was unhappy with was the loud music coming from the club adjacent to the hotel.

Great place to stay. Large rooms and vegetarian options. Staff always eager to help. Price reasonable and great location with street food in the vicinity. There is no other place like this in the island. It is a hidden gem.

The Wi-Fi is horrible. There is a bar behind the hotel where the pool is and every night it is extremely loud, with loud music or karaoke. Hotel also didn’t have a blow dryer. My other family members had no hot water and the other one had toilet issues.
