Quinta de Seves is a wonderful farm house stay just outside Covilha, ideal for exploring the area particularly the wonderful Serra da Estrela. The rooms are spotlessly clean, large and very comfortable. it has a swimming pool and good leisure areas. The site is exceptionally quiet and the owner provides a wonderful breakfast. best way to find it is via Google Maps.

Lieu magique sur le chemin de la Torre
Idéalement placée sur le chemin de la Torre. Ferme ancienne magnifiquement rénovée et meublée, située dans un immense parc avec grande piscine. Accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes .Très grande chambre, propre , lumineuse ,avec excellente literie. Belle salle de bain. Nous avons profité des talents culinaires de nos hôtes pour un succulent dîner avec spécialités régionales. Petit déjeuner complet avec produits frais. Lieu magique que l'on a du mal à quitter et où l'on souhaiterait revenir le plus rapidement possible. Nous le conseillons vivement

We had such a magical time at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. Having traveled to Portugal to visit my husband's family and friends, we decided to take a few days for ourselves to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have been more pleased! Since it was a Monday and Tuesday, we found ourselves to be the only visitors in the off-season, thus receiving the service and attention fit for royalty! Maria and Joao, our hosts, both spoke English which was helpful to me since only my husband speaks Portuguese, and they gave us information on local sites (do not miss Servilha!) and prepared two dinners that were both delicious and exquisitely presented! Maria is quite the chef! We arrived for dinner to find white wine, cheese, meats and pate set-up outside in the beautiful courtyard, just for us, followed by a private dining room with red wine and a scrumptious meal made from local foods. Both the white and red wines were from their family's nearby vineyard and were of such quality that we took some home to the states for later enjoyment. Our room and private bath were modern, yet with the old left for visuals, and were both comfortable and immaculately clean. Sitting by the poolside, reading in the afternoons and sitting there under the stars at night were added treats! We cannot recommend this awesome place enough. Please take the time to go and experience a once in a lifetime luxury of the senses!

O ambiente é muito acolhedor, mas a quinta fica em uma área rural, distante uns 15 min de carro das cidades mais próximas. A proprietária foi muito simpática e prestativa, nos recebendo com bolo e vinho. O café da manhã é muito bom também Como estávamos em três casais, ocupamos um chalé ao lado da casa principal, ou seja, tivemos uma casa só para nós, com sala com lareira, mesa de jogos e cozinha.

Quiet, stunning farmhouse of pousada quality
Arrived, lost at night with a malfunctioning GPS - the host immediately came to pick us up from town after a call from a local. Learned that Google Maps is the only guidance that will get you reliably to their Quinta. This house provided our most hospitable and relaxing stay of many in our 2 weeks in Portugal, and at a better level of comfort and food than the Pousadas we visited. The stay is competitively priced - and the dinners (highly recommended) also reasonably priced. Restoration is impressive- 40 cm thick walls, large bright windows, all non-stone components in a modern and tasteful style. Nice artwork too. Check out the pool and the friendly Portuguese mountain dogs. Hosts were generous with their time - gave us excellent advice on where to hike, and sent us to the castle in Sortelho - not to be missed either.
