This place looks like a home for the homeless, nothing like the booking information. Filth & broken down cars in the parking lot. When i arrived they didnt even have my reservation.

Great service
Booked hotel as it was cheapest in Cranbrook. Was not dissapointed got what we paid for but the guy on front desk was really helpful and we received great service.

My confirmed booking canceled on arrival, receptionist was very rude told me that motel is full and asked me to leave and find a place elsewhere.

The room was freezing! There were no towels or facecloths (had to ask for them), there was no phone in the room, no hangers in the room. No one in the office in the morning to check out with.

There was a real funky odor in the room. I donèt know if it was stale tobacco smoke or something else, but it really needed a good airing out. The bed was comfortable enough. They provided 2 $5 Tim Hortons gift cards instead of providing a coffee pot. Probably a smart choice. It was a place to stay, and we had a good sleep. That is all we asked for.

Good location for an older motel
An okay price for Cranbrook in a good location for an older motel. We booked a room with a breakfast included only to find out when we arrived that the breakfast was a coupon at Tim Hortons about a block away. They didn't have the coupons when we arrived so stated they would tape it to our door later that evening. Never got it, nobody was in the office the next morning so we called the owner who got the maid to give us a $10 bill so we could buy our own breakfast

It was like checking into the Bates Motel! The office was pitch black and junk was everywhere. The motel room was barely clean and smelled of old smoke. The carpet was old & stinky. The towels were threadbare. The breakfast was 2 Tim Horton's gift cards that they gave us when we checked in. Only one of them had $5. The other $0. Extremely disappointed in this hotel. Recommend staying somewhere else!!

Wanted the courtyard but the room and facilities are in very bad shape. No coffee or hairdryer. Breakfast offered at a cafe down the street. Rooms are very dark and dingyl.

The courtyard is a quiet greenspace & the motel is extremely quiet given that it is on the main street.

Love the courtyard. Very friendly/helpful staff! The dog is awesome. For the price we paid we were happy with our stay!

Great overnight place
Unit Exactly as described. Slightly dated decor but also very affordable rate! Check in easy and front desk extremely friendly even though I am sure I woke him up as it was 11:30pm. They are pet friendly (which is why I booked here) and they gave me a $5 card to Tim Hortons in the morning! Bed VERY comfortable! Great place to overnight if passing through Cranbrook.

The building was a bit dated and in need of minor repairs. The courtyard was enjoyable and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. Games in the lobby were great for the kids.I would stay there again

Run down older motel. They have updated some things but the air conditioning didn't work, room smelled like marijuana. There was a $5 gift card for breakfast at Tim's. No coffee maker/coffee or tea. No water glasses or ice at the motel. There was a small fridge with a freezer that didn't work. It's a convenient area but spend a few more dollars and go elsewhere.

Little hide-away
The motel was not much to look at from the outside or inside. However, the flooring was replaced with laminate, and it was clean! Small holes in the walls and repairs need doing. The blinds and thin sheer curtains did not block out any light, which made it hard to sleep. But the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The shower was great, and the owners were very kind and accommodating! They took the time to teach my three kids how to play pool and also played dominoes with them. They thought they were the kindest people. ❤️ I only with there was coffee in the room!

comfortable and hidden in plain sight.
The place is quit in the night hours. Which is very relaxing. The courtyard is nicely shaded. You can chat with others or just sit and relax without everyone on the street looking in. It is a simple little place.

When I checked in, the lobby looked more like someone's living room. It took sometime or someone to come to the front desk and when they got there, they were dressed more for bed then for checking people in. It was 8pm. When I checked out, there was no one there. I had to take a piece of paper, write on it that I was checking out and then place the key on the paper and hope they got it. The amenities consisted of one tiny packet for shampoo and one tiny packet of conditioner. I would not stay here again.

Typical older side of the road motel. I found it very clean and the bed was comfortable and the pillow were the best ones I've had at any hotel, not too big and not too skinny. The room was quiet, we never heard anyone throughout the night, and only some light noises in the morning when we were waking up for the day. The two that checked us in were friendly and got us in when our booking was missing, on a sold out long weekend. We also got breakfast included because we ended up with a better deal with breakfast gift card included. Good area, near basically every restaurant/store you could need and Cranbrook itself is a pretty town. Negatives would be each room is advertised with a fridge and microwave, room 138 didn't have a fridge but we only had drinks so it was okay to keep it in the cooler we brought with ice, but we went to get ice from the room labeled ice, and there's no ice machine, haha. Not a huge deal, but would be for people that brought items that needs a fridge. The other thing is I reccomnded not booking through a 3rd party for this hotel. I've read a few reviews now that said they didn't receive the booking and luckily the hotel had a cancellation for a room right before we came in, or else we'd have to rebook somewhere else and on a long weekend, probably at a much higher last minute rate. On a regular day, it might be okay, but if you do book 3rd party, maybe call or email the hotel direct to confirm. Overall, I do recommend this hotel, thanks!

The place was dirty, bathroom had had hair all over the place, bathroom sink leaked like a tap, the bed sheets looked like they had been used the night before and there was no breakfast as advertised. Spend the xtra few $ and go some where else.

Everything seemed to be clean but the building is a bit run down on the inside. The front staff was friendly. It was good for just needing somewhere to be for a few hours before a very early flight.
