Very good for the pricing. Room was spacious, bathroom was huge. Very good AC in the room. I couldn't get any channel but one on the TV and there weren't any soap or wash clothes in the bathroom. No blankets in room, but since it's hot it wasn't a big deal. It's best to rent a car in this area because local food options are non existent. Close to Mambo Beach Blvd which is a big attraction. All in all, pretty good stay

Hospedagem Excepcional
A hospedagem é ótima! Exatamente como nas fotos. Acomodação é ampla, bem equipada e com uma bonita decoração. Tudo novinho. A limpeza é nota dez. Bem localizada, bem perto do centro onde há o comércio e ótimos restaurantes. A atenção e a cordialidade dos proprietários foi fabulosa, fez toda a diferença em nossa viagem. Recomendo e certamente torno a me hospedar ao retornar a Curaçao.

Melhor hospedagem de Curaçao
Local excelente. Localizaçao excepcional. Limpeza impecável. O proprietário e sua esposa foram maravilhosos. Extremamente prestativos e simpáticos. Nos deram várias dicas de locais para visitar. Além disso, sempre que fizemos alguma solicitaçao, nos ajudaram.

Estadia super agradável
Maravilhosa, o Francisco foi um super host o tempo inteiro, nos deu ótimas dicas sobre a ilha e sobre a cultura local! Curaçao é lindo e ficou tudo melhor ainda com a incrível hospedagem na pousada O Casarão. Fomos recebidos com muito carinho pelo Franco e a Luz que são os proprietários do local, eles além de nos deixarem a vontade, fazendo nós sentir em casa, nós ajudaram com dicas excelentes. Great nights at O Casarao
Great Guesthouse, with a cozy apartment and kind hosts/owners. The house is well located, approximately 10 minutes from the center (by car).

Large room, friendly hosts, some noise.
Large room, however a bit dark. Good beds. Noise from traffic and barking dogs. Fine kitchen, but some of the kitchen ware a bit worn. We missed reading lamps and a hairdryer. Friendly hosts, nice swimmingpool, overall a nice stay.

We booked the 'Suite with Kitchen & Balcony' for ten days and had a great time. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Communication with our hosts was great. On arrival, we were picked up at the airport free of charge and our hosts put us in touch with somebody to rent a car last minute. The room itself was very much to our liking: spacious, with a great bed, nice bathroom and a big balcony, where we enjoyed having breakfast in the mornings. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook small meals (microwave, fridge, two stove tops, pots and pans, ...). We had hot water and did not have to worry about electricity (according to other listings, it is sometimes metered on the island). We were also provided with pool / beach towels. Room service came every other day, which was perfect for us. The guesthouse is located in the Saliña district. There is a supermarket within walking distance ('Van den Tweel', roughly 15 minutes by foot, though you need to cross a busy road to get there). You can get freshly baked goods there in the mornings. There are also lots of shops and restaurants around, though we mostly ate elsewhere. We recommend also checking out the district in the evening / at night when there are food trucks here that offer affordable, very tasty food at night. As everywhere on the island, there are lots of dogs around barking at you if you are out on foot in the neighbourhood. That's why we preferred the car over walking.

Excelente! Ótimo atendimento dos proprietários, muito solícitos e prestativos! Casarão é lindo e aconchegante. Quanto amplo, confortável, limpo, bem equipado e seguro. Área de lazer é bem bonita. Excelente custo e benefício. Voltaríamos com certeza e super indico!

100% RECOMENDADO, LA MEJOR ELECCIÓN
100% recomendado. La mejor experiencia y estadía en O Casarao, el hotel es mucho más lindo que lo que se ve en las fotografías. La mejor anfitriona, Luz gracias por tu ayuda, fue espectacular, nos hiciste la estadía mucho más fácil ya que los lugareños no son muy amables, y gracias a ella fue muy buena. Nos prestaron una sim card que fue muy útil, nos guió para los mejores sitios de Curacao. La ubicación muy buena. Te recogen del aeropuerto sin costo. Les aconsejo tomar la opción de alquiler del carro con Luz, nosotros lo hicimos por Hertz y nos fue mal, el precio con Luz es mucho mejor. El aseo muy bueno, la tranquilidad para descansar es insuperable. Cuando elegí el hotel me impresionaron los buenos comentarios de los otros huéspedes y para mi fue muy grato ver que todo era verdad. Claro que volveré y lo recomiendo 100%. No paguen tanto por un hotel tradicional, no vale la pena, Casarao está muy bien ubicado y cuentan con cocina para ahorrar dinero pues la comida es muy costosa, una piscina muy linda y limpia, parqueadero gratis dentro del hotel.
La tranquilidad del lugar es insuperable

Great new and very well kept guesthouse.
Great room. very modern and new. Great location and secure parking. Kitchen available to use.. Owners were a pleasure to talk to. There is a beautiful pool and diving board which we used. Will stay again next time when want to be close to city.

The property overall was nice and quiet area. Franco and his wife were very hospitable and accomadating. ii will be definatley staying here on my next visit to Curacao. Close to downtown price was great and even better service.

My sister and I spent 8 days here and we had a wonderful time. Very relaxing space. All amenities are great. Luz is a great host, we were very appreciative of him and his wife picking us up from the airport when we arrived in Curaçao. Pool is open 24 hours. Location is very accessible by car. Safe and secure. 5 stars!

Nice hotel, Central Location, Friendly Staff
Pros: safe neighborhood, gated parking, friendly staff, nicely renovated room, windy room no need for airconditioning, private balcony, if you need anything it will be provided like iron and board or showercaps Cons: No cleaning in the weekend. At least this is what I think. We left on Monday, so the room was a little dirty when we had to leave. The queen bed is actually 2 twins and the space between the mattresses is very annoying when sleeping next to your wife. If you don't plan on holding eachother this is not a problem. But very good hotel overall. Would surely stay again and recommend!

Very nice stay with our family
Our stay was really nice. The accommodations were lovely. We traveled with 4 teenagers and there was a pool on location, a nice terrace to watch the fireworks, and it had Christmas ornaments since we stayed over the December holidays. The couple running this house are very accommodating and hands on to any of your needs. Will definitely stay here again. Location not at the beach, car rental necessary.

Very nice hotel with awesome owners
The hotel's very good, clean and close to shops and restaurants. The owners were very nice and accommodating and the area was quiet with a nice pool area. Great service with a taxi.

Franco and Luz went out of their way to accommodate us. We so appreciated their hospitality and flexibility. Very spacious, comfortable and clean room with 2 king size beds. Pool was refreshing. Much better alternative to a hotel for us.

Fantastic customer service
We arrived late and Francisco and his wife were waiting for us, offering us drinks and giving us a tour of the guest house. They were so friendly and helpful we felt like we were visiting old friends. There are some fast food restaurants within walking distance in Salina but otherwise it's pretty isolated on top of a hill with a great view, especially at night. We booked a standard room but we were surprised to have a large suite with a king bed, which was really 2 twins pushed together, and a kitchenette with our own outdoor sitting area. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The guest house itself is large with lot's of great seating area's and a very nice pool. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was there was a bit of noise at night from the dogs. If you have a car and want a small intimate place to stay with outstanding hosts this place is for you....

Great hotel friendly staff
This was a great hotel, the location is a little less than optimal, but I was only staying one night. If I were staying longer and had rented a car I would have really enjoyed my time here. The room was bright, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped arrange a cab for me to the airport in the morning, even helping me decide what would be the best time to leave for my flight. If I visit Curacao again this would definitely be where I would stay.

Great Place to Stay in Curacao
Definitely enjoyed my brief stay at O Casarão. I was greeted at the gate and shown around by super-friendly owner Newton. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a good wifi connection. The location in Saliña is pretty much perfect--close to downtown areas of Willemstad, but quiet. I will definitely go back to O Casarão next time I'm in Curacao.

Felt Like Home
We loved our stay! Really felt like home away from home. Nice set up and the owners were super helpful!!! As soon as we arrived they were waiting for us and even drove us to the local grocery store. Our car battery died one day and they came right away to help! Close to everything including Mambo Beach! The room offers Fridge, Kitchenette, Micro and Coffee pot. Housewares is stocked as well. King size bed (2 twins put together) and our own entrance and private area. We really felt like home!

Excellent séjour à O Casarao Guesthouse
O Casarao Guesthouse était très bien situé par rapport à notre besoin : proche du centre ville (10min de Punda en voiture), du Sea Aquarium (5min en voiture) et de Caracasbay (15min en voiture), dans un quartier calme, avec des commerces juste à côté. Nous avons mis 30 minutes en voitures pour arriver de l'aéroport. Nous avons constaté que la chambre correspondait exactement aux photos que nous avions reçu du propriétaire : grande suite romantique, propre, moderne, avec beaucoup de rangements et commodités, grande salle de bain, petite cuisine, balcon, télévision, climatisation, etc... Nous nous sommes ensuite reposé au bord de la piscine de la Guesthouse : très appréciable en descendant de l'avion. Le reste de la semaine, nous n'étions pas beaucoup à la Guesthouse pendant la journée car nous visitions l'îles. La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours pendant notre absence. Les propriétaires sont supers sympas. Ils sont très chaleureux et donnent de bons conseils pour les activités à faire sur l'île. Ils sont très réactifs en cas de problème dans la chambre. Ils se rendent disponibles pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. La Guesthouse est magnifique, la décoration est soignée, elle est renouvelée régulièrement. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette Guesthouse et recommandons aux voyageurs d'y aller : vous ne serez pas déçus !

Rustige accommodatie met een schitterend uitzicht
Wij vonden het super in o casarao. Klein maar fijn. Heerlijk rustig en erg vriendelijke eigenaars en personeel. De studio's zijn ruim en netjes en de ligging is geweldig. 'S avonds is het aan te raden om eens in de jacuzzi te zitten of op het terras.
