Het hotel is niet meer actief! Er werkt niemand! We kwamen niet binnen! Daar aangekomen liet een buurman weten dat het gebouw al maanden leeg staat! Belachelijk dat dit hotel nog online staat trouwens!

Uniek is de ligging. Onze boeking was niet doorgekomen bij het hotel. Omdat het hotel vol zat konden we daar niet verblijven terwijl we ons hadden verheugd op een aantal dagen weg. Het hotel had ook geen alternatief voor ons.

Äußerst lieblos – mieses Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Unfreundlicher Empfang. Zimmer mit Gartenblick bedeutete wenig grünes Gestrüpp, viel Müll. Zimmer mit Meerblick allesamt nicht vermietet, da angeblich Klimaanlagen defekt. Zimmer wurde während des Aufenthalts nicht einmal geputzt, frische Handtücher gab es nur auf Anfrage. Immerhin wurden täglich die Kakerlaken vom Gang gefegt. Von der Frühstückskarte war das meiste nicht erhältlich, das Restaurant war nicht in Betrieb. Pool nur ein Planschbecken, keine Liegestühle vorhanden. Lange Liste mit Regeln für die Gäste, aber scheinbar keine fürs Personal. Die einzigen beiden anderen Gäste, die während unseres Aufenthalts da waren, wurden eine Nacht ausgesperrt, Personal war keines erreichbar. Sie haben dann, als sie keine Handtücher mehr hatten, mit uns die Unterkunft gewechselt, obwohl auch sie im Voraus bezahlt hatten. Wir haben so etwas in dieser Preisklasse noch nie erlebt und können vor dieser Unterkunft nur warnen. Schön war nur der Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer.

Good location near the beaches at Wespunt. The bed & breakfast offers a lot of possibilities. During our stay there was no internet in the room. The TV reception was terrible. The B&B was understaffed: one man was receptionist, handyman, cook and waiter at the same time.

Sauberkeit ließ beim ersten Zimmer zu wünschen übrig. Zimmer wurde gewechselt und war daraufhin "ok". Personal oft sehr lustlos und man hat sich teilweise gar nicht willkommen gefühlt. Atmosphäre bzw. die Aussicht hat einiges gut gemacht. Allerdings würde ich es nicht weiterempfehlen. Man sollte zusätzlich keine Scheu vor Kakerlaken haben :)

Ontvangst en bediening is niet echt vriendelijk hetgeen niet ongewoon is op dit eiland. Kamer heeft een mooi uitzicht en is ruim en schoon. Prima ontbijt.

Spacious room close to great Western beaches
The hotel was quiet despite it being (apparently) full. The room was spacious and OK for a short stay. Breakfast in the terrace with a view was a nice way to start the day. My only concerns were the smell of camphor in the room and the almost complete absence of personnel at the reception for questions or requests. Internet worked OK. There is parking space in the back of the house (steep way up!) and the hotel is close to Playa Forti and Playa Grandi and within a few driving minutes from other beautiful beaches in the North West of the Island.

Wij zijn hier een week geweest en vonden het een uitstekende locatie in tegenstelling tot het drukke Willemstad. De ontvangst op het latere tijdstip was hartelijk. Onze kamer was goed. Alles werkte en het bed/ontbijt was prima. Het personeel vriendelijk. De parkeerplaats is wat krap maar we hebben de auto altijd kunnen parkeren. Het uitzicht vanuit het restaurant/zwembad is prachtig. In de directe omgeving mooie stranden/restaurants. Kortom genoten.

The place is really nice, and has a great view. You cant compare it to hotels in Willemstad since you are in the West Punt, yet it's a great value for the price.

Staff apperars to unable to smile due to their seemingly constant state of misery. Room on the lower level looked out over the driveway, no gardenview. Shower drain is in the highestpoint of the resevoir resulting in some moulding in always wet lower part. View from the deck was nice, breakfast was ok.

Es war eher ein Hotel als ein B&B. Kleine, aber saubere Zimmer. Recht abgelegen, dafür aber wirklich gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst. Abends werden auch preiswerte und leckere Abendessen a la Carte angeboten. Da es am Abend eine "One-Man-Show" ist, muss man hier genügend Zeit einrechnen... es lohnt sich aber definitiv!

This is a no frills hotel, breakfast is simple but plenty enough. It's in a quiet part of the island, but well situated for swimming, snorkeling and eating out - plenty of restaurants in the area. To us it was far more preferable than staying around Willemstad with the big hotels and busy beaches. The room we had was certainly adequate, clean and with a lovely view over the town and water.

Out-of-the-way lodging that's great if you're after a quiet escape. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Biggest drawback was that we were forced to find a different hotel our first night, after we arrived late at night and made the trek all the way out to Punta West just to discover that nobody was available to let us in the building or check us in (despite calling a week ahead and being assured someone would be there for us no matter what time we arrived).

Decent for what it is
Hotel is decent. Few breakfast selections and only just a 2 hour window for breakfast 8a-10a is the biggest downside. Parking is also extremely limited. You may be asked to move your car depending on other guest. Location is quiet and away from the city. Beds are also pretty hard and could be updated. Pool in the photo is much smaller than it appears, The hotel workers and owner are nice and accommodating.

Loved the location up in the mountain overlooking the ocean. Very quiet and peaceful. We were hoping for it to be darker at night to see the stars but all the properties around have many, many lights on at night.

Prima plek voor een paar nachtjes. Leuk dakterras, mooi uitzicht. De keuken is in de avond wel vrij vroeg dicht.

Good hotel with nice view
The hotel is good. Stuff is very friendly. Breakfast- good. Dinner - also good, but for additional fee. Everyday housekeeping.The only unlikely thing is the shower: very inconvenient showerhead and no hand shower. The view on the sunset is realy great.

Good base spot on the North West side
We used this place to check out the beaches and parks on the north half of the Island. It is very close to some good places to eat around Sabana Westpunt, We liked Sol food so much we ate there three days in a row. Shete Boka park was beautiful, especially the Pistol. Playa Grande was interesting - turtles, fish and Pelicans in abundance. We spent most our time at three beaches - Playa PortoMari (cute pigs roam wild here), Daaibooi Beach (lots of pretty birds) and Playa Cas Abao. Jan Thiel beach is nice if you like big crowds, small beach and a great choice of places to eat.

Bad hotel
I went for the new year opening. First time I went to a hotel for New Years opening. Staff was not friendly dressed, bad communication. The restaurant has a menucard but the items are not in house. Breakfast begins after 9am . Restaurant closes 8pm. I will never return there.

Hübsches Hotel/ Personal absolutes No-Go!!!!!!!!!!
Das Hotel an sich ist wirklich schön. Das Zimmer ist sauber und auch modern und hübsch eingerichtet. Einen Balkon gibt es ebenfalls, jedoch müsste man sich auf den Boden setzen, da es weder Stühle noch einen Tisch hat. Das Frühstück ist lecker und die Aussicht auf der Frühstücksterrasse ist schön. Nun zu den weniger erfreulichen Dingen. Die Ankunft war mehr als nur bescheiden. Als wir auf das Gelände gefahren sind, stand oben ein Herr der uns böse angeschaut hat und gefragt hat was wir hier wollen. Nachdem wir geklärt hatten, dass wir via hotel.com gebucht hatten, wurde wir im Befehlston nach oben beordert. Der Herr an der Rezeption war derart unfreundlich, dass ich am liebsten wieder gegangen wäre. Wir würden bezichtigt, dass wir lügen würden, und wir gar nicht gebucht hätten. Ich habe ihm dann die Bestätigung gezeigt. Naja dann war er drauf und dran uns den kompletten Betrag noch einmal in Rechung zu stellen, obwohl wir bereits vorher alles gezahlt hatten. Nachdem er uns gesagt hat, dass er das ganze Thema morgen nochmal prüfen wird, hat er uns dann einfach in ein Zimmer gesteckt.. ohne große Worte zu verlieren (eigentlich hat er nichts gesagt). Hier Frage ich mich, ob es wirklich so viele unterschiedliche Zimmer gibt, wie auf den meisten Portalen. Wir zum Beispiel hatten den "Gartenblick" s. Foto. Im großen und ganzen würden wir vom ganzen Personal (exkl. Reinigungsdame) angepampt! Ach ja.. ab 4 Uhr kräht der Hahn im halbstunden Takt.

A nice hotel with potential
The facility is very unique and leaves a person with mixed feelings. Modern updated rooms with a great view from the restaurant. The service was quite good. Our TV was not working, they sent someone immediately. Breakfast was off a limited but decent menu. For the cost, the rooms should have included a refrigerator and coffee maker. They have plenty of room to have them, but they do not, and given the very hot weather, a refrigerator is a must in my opinion

At first we got a room that was not clean. After we complained we got an other room. The rooms are small but ok. But there was a penetrating stench in the aircondition system. That bothered us the most during our stay

Great B&B!
The rooms was very clean, comfortable and plenty of space. We ate at the restaurant for dinner twice and enjoyed the quite atmosphere and the food. Highly recommend.

Luxe en betaalbaar hotel met mooi uitzicht
Het verblijf bij Punta West was voor ons perfect. Voldoende luxe en een lekker zwembadje met mooi uitzicht. Enige nadeel waren de gladde plavuizen in het hele hotel nadat het een middag flink regende.

Bon hôtel proche des plages
Nous avons passé deux nuits en demi-pension. L'hôtel est agréable et propre, les chambres sont spacieuses. Le petit-déjeuner et le dîner se prennent sur une terrasse offrant une vue magnifique sur la mer et les collines environnantes. Le cuisinier est très accueillant. Par contre, le manager pourrait l'être davantage.

Zu Beginn starke Geruchsbelästigung wie sich herausstellte durch die Klimaanlage. Wurde aber von Tag zu Tag besser. Leider wird das volle Potential des Hotels nicht ausgeschöpft. Der mangelhafte Service war für uns das Problem. Da wir ( 2 Paare ) die einzigen Gäste in dieser Woche waren hatte man immer das Gefühl wir stören das Personal. Nach allem musste man extra verlangen sonst bekam man gar nichts. Das Abendessen auf der super tollen Terrasse war eher nix. Wir besuchten daher immer die wirklich guten Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Frühstück war sehr gut nicht mit liebe serviert aber lecker. Die Zimmerreinigung war sehr gut.

Secluded and beautiful
Stayed for 3 days, liked the quit and daily breakfast included. Room was clean. Air conditioned. Perfect for a couple retreat. Safe was working and the door key was disabled the last day. If you dine out or in, plenty of options within walking distance. No grocery stores nearby, but small conscience stores within the driving distance. Explored few nearby beaches, Jeremy is the one we would recommend. Bring you snorkeling masks, quite a view of ocean life on a side of the beach . Be aware of the currency exchange rate and double check all your bills .

Nice hotel close to the beach.
Nice hotel at a short walk to Playa Forti beach. The sunset view from the bar and dining area overlooking the village and ocean is great.

Ett otroligt mysigt och familjevänligt hotell! Personalen var riktigt omhändertagande och Curacao i stort är en fantastisk ö med supertrevlig befolkning.
