Needed a basic room
We needed a basic room close to our relatives homes. Room was clean. Only issues was the bath tub faucet leaking 24/7.

No water for hours
Checked in right away. Hotel staff tells me they need a extra 50 bucks for the room key. Then they dont accept prepaid debit cards. Then no water for 5 hours. Horrible stay

Hotel old.
Hotel was old in need of repairs. They are working on remodeling so should be better in future. Floors and bathrub didn't look clean. Next timei'll spend a little more for somethjng nicer.

Great Location, affordable
I didn't expect much for the price we were paying per night. Reading other reviews I prepared myself for the worst, but it all turned out OK! The room was definitely out dated, but it looked clean to the best it could have been. We stayed for 3 nights and rec'd clean towels each day. It was quiet and no one bothered us. The grounds were clean and pool area was kept up. We didn't eat breakfast there so no comments on that. We didn't have any problems getting our deposit of cash back.

Corrupt hotel
Corrupt hotel. Booked the room through expedia and paid for it. When I showed up, super 8 demanded another 50 in deposit. I did not have it. They refused to give me my money back or give me a room. Have to sleep in the car. They did not tell me extra deposit required. It is buried on page 3 !! Shocked that expedia and super 8 are so corrupt. Time to dump expedia and go back to cash. Just this morning, i was thinking of making expedia my travel agent for all travels going forward. Dodged that one.

Not that great stay
I didike the fact that they charge for room key cards. And customer service is not there, they only care about renting more rooms, they knocked at my door at 10:30 am to ask if I was checking out or not.

This place is a dump
The hotel is located in a great area however it is a true rat hole I booked it at the last minute because I had some quest in town for the game. When we arrived at the hotel and checked in the room had mold all over the ceiling the sheets were nasty not to mention how unclean it looked outdated amenities for the area thumbs down. I would not recommend this place to my dog.

Could use some updates & remodeling. The Tvs were blurry and outdated. The staff was helpful & we got everything we asked for. All the reaturaunts around the motel are great.

It's a trap!
The room was old stinky and outdated. The bathroom had holes in the wall and the tub was filthy. Then they charged me 3 times. Had i not been exhausted from a long trip i would have went somewhere else

Get what you pay for
Guess $65/night is not worth what it used to be. The room had a bathroom sink with a leaky water fixture, that soaked the rug underneath the counter, anytime the water was turned on. Reported the problem, but no one ever showed up to fix it, during my stay. The wall shared with the living area and the bathroom, had wallpaper peeling away, at floor level. The shower curtain rod was in need of maintenance, in that, instead of being level, it was hanging forward, such that the curtain wouldn't stay extended from wall to wall. The room had a clock radio, but it was non-functioning. When I checked out, I was told the phone and internet system was down, so they weren't able to provide me with a paper receipt, and didn't offer to email me one. Needless to say, I don't think I'll ever be staying in a Super8 facility again. Not if they're all managed / maintained like the one I stayed at, in Addison, TX.

Super 8=Disappointing
So I get to the motel to check in and I have a service dog with me and I let the staff know. Well he automatically asked to I have documents, which is illegal to do so. Then I had to pay a $50 dollar deposite at check in which is refundable at check out. Once we get the the room it is obvious that they haven't done any upgrades to the furniture or decor in many years. It was old and wasn't very clean in there. Only a few channels worked on the tv with the volume only working on a few channels. It was supposed to be a non smoking room but the comforter had cigarette burn marks in them. Went to take a shower and nine- fourteen baby roaches came out oh the shower knob. Just was an over all bad experience.

Dear Dee, Sorry for the issues that you experienced during your start at the hotel. If you had just let front desk know of the issues they would have helped you out. The TV volume went out due to thunderstorms. Hope you come and see us in the future as we are starting major renovations.

Wall paper peeling, ugly linens, old everything
Air conditioning didn't cool at all and maintenance said it will cool eventually. Mold in the shower was disgusting. The coffee pot didn't work. The water wouldn't get hot. The breakfast items were low grade like fake butter and fake cream etc, towels tiny and rough. It was nasty and not worth the $73.00. They put a deposit of $50.00 on my card, not $20 as your website says. I'm so grossed out and wish I wasn't so tired that I could leave.

The room said that it had a microwave and fridge. There was only a microwave. Furthermore, when I checked in, the person at the front said I could stay till 12 (1 hour past checkout time). When I checked out they charged me an additional $65 dollars.

abandon all hope all ye who enter...
unit was dirty, amenities out of date, toilet wouldn't flush, closer exam found toilet roll tube in pieces in the tank..carpet dirry, smelled like someone had smoked weed in of course a non smoking room. I'd booked for a single bed and got 2 in the room. Microwave had dead bug in it, mini fridge looks like it hadn't been cleaned in like forever. I can't believe I had to actully pay for this, made me feel ripped off.

Great hotel for the price.
The hotel needs to be updated. But the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff brought us extra towels and pilllows within 5 minutes of requesting them.

Bugs!
Hotel has outdated appliances carpet flooring which is okay considering the price. What is not okay is that just before my husband and I were about to go to sleep a humongous cockroach emerged on the ceiling and proceeded to crawl over our heads. My husband went to the office to talk to the staff member and he came back with a can of roach killer that the attendant gave him. My husband was told we could not get a refund because it wasn't a "recurring problem" yet the can of pesticide was about half empty and at that point I realized why there where so many shiny streaks on the ceiling, because they had been sprayed with pesticide before. So we had to sleep with a strong smell of bug spray in a small room with poor ventilation. We were not offered another room, we weren't given a refund, and we had to kill to roach ourselves. Do not be fooled into thinking you are getting a decent hotel just because it is near the galleria like I did I would not use this place again and unless you don't mind having and killing cockroaches then would suggest you don't either!

Das komplette Hotel ist heruntergekommen. Von außen und von innen. Wir hatten ein unfassbar dreckiges Zimmer! Kakerlaken usw.! Das Hotelpersonal war einfach nur extrem unfreundlich und unterstellte uns, dass wir Lügner wären bezüglich der gesichteten Kakerlaken. Glücklicherweise hatten wir Beweisfotos gemacht. Wir haben es dort nicht ausgehalten und mussten nach nur einer Nacht ein neues Hotel suchen. Wir danken dem Expedia Team, dass uns bei der Lösung des Problems sehr geholfen hat.

Worst Experience ever!!
I travel for a living and mostly stay in hotels. I have never experienced anything like what I experience there. There was cut hair and dirty towels in the room we got. All channels worked, 5 min. later only 5 channels. I have a service dog and they charged me $15 for her because my name was not on her license. I asked for something in writing to see if that was their policy and no one could give it to me. Front desk clerk was asleep in the back room at 8am, she was not the same person. we checked in with. She was extremely rude and seems to me she has never been given any type of customer service training. There housekeeping and some guy, I guess some type of security guard knocked on my door and 1 before we where supposeto check out. Worst Experience ever!!!

Close to my destination.
I've stayed here once before. The first experience was not pleasant but this more recent stay was better. The staff is very pleasant and nice. Probably the most genuine smiles I've ever recieved at a hotel. But the building itself needs more work; and by looking at the building you can see they are undergoing renovations. The room itself was fine but the bed. OUCH. It was very hard and uncomfortable for me. I actually had to sleep on top of extra pillows, which the staff brought to me. All in all, it's not the best but it's also not the worst place I've stayed. The staff is what made the stay worth it.

Hotel was dirty it had a horn smell in the room like bug spray had a hard time sleeping because everyone else in the rooms next to me where up all night partying and yelling and screaming

good value.
Could not beat the price for a 2 bed room with microwave and fridge. Did not make it for breakfast because they picked up at 9:00 and I thought it was till 10:00. Family slept good. condition of room was so, so. The bathroom door was hard to close because it was sticky. I did see one cockroach in the room but killed it immediately and of course didn't tell the wife about it. Overall it was ok, and would probably stay again.

Unprofessional and very ghetto
It was horrible and very unprofessional the owner curse me out and we had words and the police end up being called and he was Doing fraud on other people's credit card that was on my statement and said he didn't care and was trying to do it on mine and said he didn't care and also asked him for extra blanket and he said we have to pay for it.... and also as we left out to go get something to eat and as soon as we pulled out the police pulled us over and harassing us because he said the hotel was a drug area and was known for but my family and I didn't know that and also the one in Plano off of 75 never stay there unless you plan on going to jail for catching a case
