Lovely old house. Room was adequate and comfortable with our own private use of bathroom. Advertised breakfast was not provided.

Continuous motor or similar noise in roof space above bedroom was terrible, when bought to attention of owner he didn't know what it was! Disrupted night accordingly. Shortcuts with toilet paper quality and watered down hand wash, owner disheveled when met at door, no breakfast.

There was a musty smell in the kitchen area , bedroom was ok. Slept well because the room was very dark and quiet. Best thing was next to the park and walk to 2 restaurant. Room for improvement overall ok.

Phenomenal. Felt very welcome, the room and private bathroom were comfortable and beautiful. Excellent knowledge of surrounding area and happy to answer my questions. Very impressed, I know where I will stay for future trips through this area! Loved how private and secure the rooms were. Definitely recommend Glenellen!

The a great location however the carpet is extremely old, faded, stained and absolutely filthy. The entire apartment desperately needs renovation. The bed was ok and had clean sheets and covers on.

We loved our short stay. Rick was very hspitable and extremely helpful to us. His home is opposite Queen's Park and during the Carnival of Flowers made walking a delight. Glenellen is a family home and the quiet ambience fits in easily to make this stay even more enjoyable.

Was expecting just a room with shared ammentities for the cheap price. We got a self contained unit. External door with key, full ensuite and mini kitchen area. Comfy bed and nice linen. Perfect location.

This is a lovely old house ONLY. No breakfast. no kitchen... or access to one.....share dining table /room,completely covered in owners" stuff",eg laptop,coffee cups,bills,magazine,pens/pencils old plates...etc. So, nowhere to sit even when you are forced to buy takeaway. No plates offered. So you can sit in the bedroom,food in container of some sort in your LAP....BREAKFAST ??? they sugest you go elsewhere,and pay again. NO !! definitely not bed AND Breakfast..we are often in Toowoomba ,but from many many other good choices ,would NOT recommend this as a B/b...

The property is in a run down shabby and dirty comdition. The visitor sitting room was dirty, and the furniture extremely dirty. The bedroom was the same very grubby furniture. The bathroom was disgusting. The handbasin was cracked right across the middle with a missing plug hole. The bath plug hole was full of hair, the grout and tiles had mould and dirty. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The bedroom was right next to the front door, which made it very noisy with the comings and goings of other guests. We did think a breakfast was included, but no, it would cost another $12, one look at the filthy cluttered dining room made our decision, we would eat out. The steps leading from the property were dangerous more so when wet, my husband had to attend hospital with a torn ligament after slipping. The garden was unkempt. There were only three parking spaces for four rooms. The owner took up one of those, which left two, we had to park in the street one night. There are three positives, lots of hot water, room was warm and the location next to the park. I would never recommend this property.

Historic stay
Wonderful location across the road from Queen’s Park. Quant place to stay with historic feel. Lovely owners who were very helpful.

Beautiful building with lovely furnishings, right across the road from Queen's Park. Friendly hosts with good suggestions for local food options. Segregated area in the 'white horse room' was great as could go to and from the bathroom privately. Incredibly quiet room and area, and comfortable bed. Best night's sleep we've had in a while. Will definitely stay there again next time! Thank you!

Such a beautiful old building my room was so comfortable with a lovely bed plenty of pillows and clean towels! I had a great clean bathroom. The location is perfect and the gentleman who ran the bnb was quick and efficient. Thankyou

Good location near Park & city. Did not realise prior to arrival that they are not keen to supply breakfast, however nearby cafe was excellent.

It was a nice room with a comfortable bed. The owner was nice enough and did let me use the microwave for my breakfast.

Quaint and well located
This was chosen for its location .. opposite Queens Park and near Cobb and Co Museum during the Carnival of Flowers .. so, ideal. The Pink Poppies suite was roomy, quiet and very private with its own entry. Its kitchen was adequate although the mismatched crockery/cutlery and scarcity of teaspoons(1) spoiled the overall impression somewhat. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. Wifi was strong but unable to obtain the password until the next day. Fair price for this time of year.

Home away from home
The accommodation is like home away from home. Lovely hosts, attention to detail with cups and saucers from your Mum’s cupboard. A real rose in a cute little vase. Pillows and decor... lovely. But, wooden floors, beautiful Queenslander, will transfer sounds easily.

Unsure what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised. Location is fantastic. Opposite a gorgeous park and walking distance to cafes and shops. Accommodation feels very "homely" and staff went out of their way to help me.

A fancy version of air bnb
the spa bathdub is honestly a bit too small -it doesnt give you the comfort of a decent spa. you actually had to pay extra for breakfast while the price for the room is not really that cheap. It is pretty much a fancy air bnb -you dont feel the service or privacy of a hotel. it is very pretty to look at though- that is if you are into classic English decoration
