I do not not know who you are or when you stayed. I can tell you that we are The Overlander Homestead Motel, Roma. It is the only 4 1/2 star motel in Roma and officially rated not self rated. Fully owned and managed by myself and Amanda. So we get inspected every year and have strict criteria to abide by. The whole motel is double cavity brick, so the rooms are sound proof! As with any house in Australia an odd mosquito can get into a room, there is mortein available in every room as well as them being fully screened. The motel is sprayed for insects inside and out every 4 months by a registered pest controller who supplies a certificate. The motel runs at one of the higher occupancy rates in Australia, that means the rooms are all used nearly every day of the month, 12 months of the year. The rooms are spotless. Being officially rated at 4 1/2 stars we have all the professional people from all over the world staying at The Overlander for the Surat Basin Energy industry an Australian investment of $87 billion dollars. Do you really think our rooms are as you described? In most other cases on this platform people are confused where you stay with the Motel and Town on a trip around Queensland. I do know there are many motels that are not to our standard, in fact most. That is why we are highest officially rated. Hi Dianne, We do have 32 King Executive rooms with Super king size beds, 210 Cms. You must have booked on of the only 2 Queen Size rooms we have in the whole motel.

Hi John, we do have other king rooms with walk in showers available.

Thank you for returning the key under duress. Your abuse with clients in the reception at the time did not do you any good. As they were all mining executives and with you managing mining camps did not go down well. I suggest you destress to have a happy life.

Hi Anonymous, Thanks for the review. Any of the Western Towns will have a bit of noise, because this is where the work happens, Agriculture and mining produces the majority of Australian Exports.

Thanks for the heads up George, we got it fixed after you told us in reception, family owned and run businesses rely on being told when something breaks down etc as with positive remarks.
