Wonderful stay here! Staff were incredible. Resort has been renovated and is in good condition. Location is good. Pool area and hot tub are fantastic. We will return to this resort when coming back to the area.

Wonderful place for a family retreat
THis was a great retreat with Family. My son and Daughter and her family had a wonderful time. Staff was very welcoming. Loved the activities and the fact you can walk out to the beach and enjoy the surf or remain on the pool deck. Can say enough about this stay.

We love this resort. It is so relaxing and laid back. All the guests are super nice and friendly. The activities are always a great time- love Bingo by the pool. Great restaurant choices all within walking distance. Will stay here again.

There is security on site around the clock. Love this! Your vehicle and your stay is at the property feels very safe. The restaurants they have onsite are outstanding. Good choices of food. We stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 3rd floor, it was comfortable for 2 people and this included the Murphy bed. We slept very well! I would say this has been a very nice stay at this facility for young and old guests. We recommend staying at Ocean East. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice mid-range property
Excellent access to the beach and local attractions. Mostly clean facility, although a little older it was well maintained. I would gladly return.

Expensive. No room cleaning. No trash removal. Pool is small. If you want to use chairs around a pool you should wake up before sunrise (I’m not kidding). Check out at 10 am. I asked for 2 extra hours: $100. Lost beach towel - $25, lost room key (card) - $10.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I would like to point out that we have a pool which is one of the largest in our area. You came during spring break, our resort was at 100% occupancy, yes the pool was busy from sun up to midnight. We clearly state at check in and the signs also say, no late check outs. Again, we are sorry. We are a timeshare resort not really a hotel.

Not so resort style
Check in was supposed to be 5 which is already a late check in compared to other hotels in the area. Arrived at 5:15 pm. Room still not available. Over an hour went by and still not been given our keys. After explaining my frustration with the clerk she then stated for the fifth time it would only be a few more minutes and that Amanda could make it right in the morning. After speaking to Amanda, she never made it right and “only” offer was a late check out, not able to use since I had leave at 6am day of the checkout anyway. The room the entire week smelled like pepper spray. Room service was great but management could some help.

Ocean East is an excellent place to stay. They have the beach bucket restaurant/bar onsite and the staff is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back. The building itself is a few years old but well maintained and the rooms are exceptionally clean!

Affordable ocean front. Nice pool, attached bar and restaurant overlooking the ocean with live music in the afternoon. It was great. The Murphy bed was the only item which reduced my rating and that was due to the bed being seriously taking up the center of the unit when out

Wrong room.
We were in the wrong room. No ocean front. Mold in the coffee pot. Doughnuts behind the couch. Cockroach in our family’s room.
