In need of serious updates throughout interior rooms and exterior. Could be a gem with some fresh updated paint, new light fixtures and appliances. Seawall reconstruction incomplete. Ongoing noise M-F from construction equipment. No direct beach access. New manager John very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is in the process of repairing the back wall and steps. The beach ramp is just a short walk away, still convenient. The room was clean, well stocked with towels, paper supplies etc and staff was friendly and all very helpful.

Enjoyed our stay
We really enjoyed our stay here. When we checked in we were upgraded to a beach front room from beach view at no extra charge. (Not sure if there should have been but probably or I would have booked a beach front.) Unfortunately, due to the hurricanes last fall we could not access the beach directly from there but we were instructed to go up a hotel and we could use their stairs. There was not daily maid service which was ok with us. Someone came in once to empty our garbage. The kitchenette area was sufficient. Everything we needed was there. Every time we saw the gentleman running it (sorry, I don't think I ever got his name.) he asked if we needed anything. He was very accommodating. Daytona was an easy place to get around and had lots of good eating places.

ITS A DUMP
It’s a dump! Paint peeling from the ceiling,portable dehumidifier making so much noise we had to turn it off. No direct line to front desk. Need to use our cellphones. The minute we walked into our room it had a musty odor. It was so bad we left after one night and didn’t ask for a refund for the next two night.

One night beach vacay
Great location, had parking, communicative staff made late night check in a breeze. Cute room, could be a little cleaner and just a little worn out and dated. Perfect for after a long day at the beach. Great place for the price.

The property was on the beach; Staff was was nice; quiet, easy walk to Hard Rock; clean; property needs attention; Hurricane that came through Daytona did damage, however, that was 2 years ago. Outside lights needs attention! Should fix the steps to the beach.

Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen schon lange nicht mehr der Realität. Es ist ein altes Motel mit guter Lage direkt am Strand. Von einem Beach Club kann gar nicht die Rede sein. Preis Leistung nicht gut!

The room was a disaster. The sheets were dirty. The towels were stained. There was mold in the bathtub. The telephone wasn’t working. The security night latch was missing. The smoke detector was missing. The garage can by the pool was full of garbage for 3 days.

Adequate accommodations if you are open minded. Fairly run down but we didn’t expect The Ritz. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Sea wall washed away so there is no beach access right now. A long walk to get to beach. Manager seemed eager to please.

With them just having the hurricane in oct it’s a nice place. We was in room 400 and it’s cute and clean. The bedroom with the balcony needs a new bed and frame. Wonderful view and bathtub. They are redoing and it’s coming along. Quite and a great place for familys. Look forward to coming back soon.

check in was a bit confusing, office was closed with phone # to call, staff was not very pleasant. room was much more spacious than expected. due to hurricane damage, there was no beach access from facility. Since we were staying only one night, this was not an issue. **** this hotel charged a SERVICE FEE for using Hotel.com

They lied when i called the property direct to ask about post-hurricane property damage prior to booking my reservation. I asked about the pool and beach access. Was told all was fine except for "parking lot damage." In truth, their stairway to the beach was destroyed. To get to the beach, we had to walk blocks away or pay $20 each time we wanted to drive our car on the beach, which we did twice. Also, there was a pile of old furniture in the parking lot. Trashy! There was blue colored glass shards all over the bottom of the pool. Their "pet friendly" policy is hardly that. Nowhere to walk your dog at except a nasty vacant lot on the other side of the property that is strewn with wires and trash. Their policy states you can leave your pet unattended on the room. That is not realistic at all. The Manager is terrible! Wouldnt offer any assistance other than to say to email Coastal Properties. There is no one at the front desk from 5pm until 9 or 10am the next morning. There was neligerent guests who played guitar loudly for several hrs. We were woken up by homeless women yelling in the parking lot at 2am. We think they were going through cars in the parking lot. No security at all. And to top it all off...a maid entered our room even though we had a "Do not disturb" sign on our door!! We were napping in bed! When my husband complained to Pat, the "manager," she yelled at HIM!! This was my 5th year vacationing in the area. It was my worst - by far - hotel experience EVER.

High price for little result
I think theyre just taking advantage of events happening and not doing the upkeep of the rooms, at least on the ground floor. Mattresses are well beyond du for replacement, shower & bath dirty, doors not washed, no curtains in big front window so sun comes in early, needs all around repairs

For paying the same amount as the Hilton next door you would think at minimal you would at least receive good customer service. -The lady at the front desk who lives on property does not want to be bothered at all. Day one I put it off as maybe she had a bad day, just ignore the rudeness. Day two the same. No greeting, just stares. God forbid you ask for something she makes you feel stupid for asking.

needs some work but is ok
All in all it was a good trip but the hotel needs some work. I am not referring to any storm damage but upkeep. The shower drained real slow letting water build up in the tub, the toilet seat was loose and needed tightening and the entrance door the dead bolt lock did not work and the upper safety lock was missing. We have stayed here before and it was much better kept. Some work is needed

The property has many faults with it. The room at first seemed ok. We had a check in at approximately 6:30. We went out for some dinner and returned to the room. I had taken my shoes off and was walking in the room. I then looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black. It looks like the floor had not seen a mop in a Long time. The sink handle came off in the hand. We had a few roaches one dead and one alive. Entering the room there was no light switch so if you came in after sunset you came into a dark room, not safe. I would Never stay here again.

Matteress was unusable pool and beach access closed to early older white woman found her on smoke break eventually 15 minutes after her shift started not even close to office. Left early so paid for a room we couldn’t use.

My wife and I sayed for a long weekend recently. It is a great value in the market being on the beach and offering oceanview rooms. It does need some updating, however, such as a new coffee pot, refrigerator, etc...

Just okay with weird little signs
They may have changed phone number, it rings & then drops the call, so cannot call prior to coming. Property is very dated, but clean. The dinnerware provided is adequate & helps if you are on a budget. Efficiency room ok, bathroom very small tho. They charged us extra for booking via third party & did a $150 hold on card which I thought was excessive. This place has weird little signs everywhere, like don't use our towels to remove makeup or we will charge you to replace them. Plus you have to call or find housekeeping to replenish shower towels. The sign at check in door always says they stepped away & door is locked. Not good when you want to check out beach chairs or towels. Overall just ok.

Nothing To Like Except Pool. Maybe 2 Star Definitely not 4 Star. A/c was set at 72 little too cold for wife turned to 76. Within 2 hrs Tile Floor, Counter and Table wet from Moisture had to turn back to 72. Light in Foyer Shines rt into room with No Blinds and no way to cover window. Maid said everybody complains but they do Nothing. Never stay there again. Main Issue I Was charged more because booked thru 3rd Party.
