Anniversary Getaway
My spouse and I stayed for the weekend for our wedding anniversary and we were in awww with the property. So beautiful and comfortable. The owners are super nice and I just love how she tells the story of the history of the home and surrounding town. The room was more than amazing with its own bathroom with a jet tub and balcony We didn’t get to experience any of the amenities such as their Tavern bar they promote nor were they serving breakfast due to electrical issues which is understandable. But we will definitely be back hopefully then we can experience all The Ann Stevens House has to offer

The Ann Stevens House was everything you could wish for in Old Florida. Huge camphor trees draped in Spanish moss surround the picturesque house and grounds. I was greeted by a very gracious host and two plump, friendly, orange cats. Inside, my room was fully-appointed. The linens were to die for. The house is only minutes from Cassadaga Spiritualist camp.

Check in was an absolute delight and the room was beyond anything I could have expected. It was so clean, on theme, and so beautiful.

Loved our hostess! She was very informative and welcoming. Too bad no breakfast due to COVID. Would have enjoyed some bottled water. The room was beautiful and the property spectacular.

The property is beautiful and our room (deluxe king) was lovely; our private porch excellent. The only problem was that there is no clear check-in procedure, no sign indicating where/how to get key. One is supposed to call the proprietor, but we did not have the number and would not have known that without the assistance of another guest

Loved the location and setting. It had lots of trees and plants. We loved the porch with the rocking chairs too. The bed was pretty comfortable and it was nice to have a refrigerator in our room that made storing our leftovers from dinner easy. We will definitely come back and stay should the opportunity arise.

Love the old charm for the room. I appreciate the room being cleaned each day. The Kurig was a nice touch. Oh, I stopped and picked up a couple small travel sized cereals and I noticed a bowl placed in my room the following day, thank you for noticing and the little details were appreciated.

I was greeted by the owner and given a tour of the property. She gave me a great tour with lots of information about the history of the area and the property itself. The room I stayed in was well appointed. It was a big space and very comfortable. I had a very nice porch to sit out on and listen to nature in the evening.

The owner is friendly and accommodating. Parking is great and the grounds are kept immaculate. The inside is clean and it is decorated well. The room we stayed in was spacious with a quaint screened in porch and rocking chairs to enjoy the outside. Very quiet and relaxing location.

Lovely, tranquil setting. Saw deer running on the grounds. Shower took a while to get hot and was a bit difficult to figure out. Enjoyed the private screened balcony area very much.

Lovely B&B/beautiful setting.
Lovely B&B in a beautiful setting of oaks and landscaped with a gazebo. The room was amazing and furniture was gorgeous with a screened porch. Loved our stay. Emily was a fantastic host.

Loved it, love the privacy of our screened in porch out back. Loved the hiking next door. Our room was super cute. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again. My only negative is I was really looking forward to morning coffee...opened up the coffee maker and someone else's K-cup was still in there. Don't know for how long so I ended up not getting any coffee. Besides that we really enjped our stay. We'd stay again and would recommend it to anyone else.

Absolutely charming historic property yet comfortable and roomy. We stayed in a second building behind the house itself. Very, large comfortable rooms with imaginative decor, nice amenities. Great walking path just next door. Just about 15 minutes from downtown Deland and even closer to Cassadaga.

The history of the property was interesting. We would have liked to be in the main house but chose to get the king size bed so we were in the carriage house. It too was beautiful so we were pleased with our stay.

We loved our Cowboy Room would like to check out all the other rooms. The Lady told us about the house and the garden. Very informative. Also she gave us Ideas to eat. Very very nice.

We LOVED this property! Historic and beautiful! The rooms were absolutely beautiful! The owners, Emily and Shane were so sweet and informative I wish we could have had more time with them. We felt like we made new friends. Everything on this property was just right and by right I mean the feeling you get when you walk around and just smile and say, "yes this is exactly as it should be." So peaceful and refreshing. I just wish I would have made more time on our trip to enjoy and relax in this lovely home.
