Thank you for your review. We do offer daily housekeeping service upon request. As with most other lodging options in the area - budget or luxury - this year has proven difficult and we have had to make some changes to services offered to keep our staff and guests safe. Anytime you need service, all you have to do is ask. Our Wi-Fi is ample enough to reach the entire property, but during this huge season you may experience lag times depending on what you're trying to load. Next time, request a larger room not as near Main Street. We are on the main road through town and are experiencing higher than normal volumes of traffic. Not much we can do about our popular location and the traffic volume. Maybe choose a more secluded location on your next visit. Best of luck in your future travels.

It appears that you booked our most modestly price room. These rooms are small - but they do offer travelers such as yourself on a tight budget a clean, comfortable space for a quick overnight stop. In the future, book one of our larger rooms. Thanks for your booking.

Thank you for your review. Bathroom outlets do require the switch to be turned to the on position in order to activate the power. Bell's Motor Lodge is a retro motel - we do offer new beds, new linens, flat screen TVs and free WiFi. Thanks for leaving a review. We appreciate the feedback. Each room is equipped with towels for either 2 or 4 people depending on room type. Each room also gets plenty of bar soap in room. We do offer complimentary items such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush kits, shaving kits in the office during office hours at no charge. Thanks for being our guest!

Anonymous Guest - We have some property rules that may differ from your average chain hotel. Guests must pull in - not back in- as to not break our retro neon lights that run under each building. These are very expensive to replace and the cost would be charged to our guests. We do have a visible security system that offers our guests peace of mind. Most guests appreciate that we actually have a system - instead of just signs. There are many available options in the area. We're sure you'll find another lodging choice the next time you're in Spearfish that will be more to your liking. Safe travels!

Bell's Motor Lodge is a retro lodge offering clean, comfortable rooms at the best price in Spearfish. Each room has a window in the bathroom that helps with ventilation - retro lodges were not outfitted with exhaust fans and we'd like to keep our retro charm while offering modern amenities such as flat screen TVs, WiFi and updated beds and linens. Parking is tight, but we have one spot for each room as well as extra parking on our side streets and ample overflow parking for larger vehicles and trailers. Our clean outdoor pool offers swimming until 8PM nightly to ensure our guests enjoy quiet relaxing evenings. Thanks for your great review! Safe travels!

Each room at Bell's Motor Lodge has a small refrigerator and microwave - we do not have rooms without this. We pride ourselves on offering clean accommodations at the best prices in Spearfish. I don't recall coming into contact with anyone from your party - maybe you've confused us with another location on your travels.

Guest, Bell's Motor Lodge is an eclectic mix of room options. It looks like you booked our least expensive economy room with 1 full bed. We offer many different room options from economy rooms for the cash strapped traveler - all the way up to our large studio suites for families. These small units have a central air system that keeps guests cool and comfortable all summer long. We are happy to provide clean, comfortable lodging options for all budgets - we are the most modestly priced option in Spearfish. In the future, we welcome you to choose a different room type to better meet your needs. Bell's Motor Lodge is a retro motor lodge from the 1950s - when life was simpler and guests didn't have devices to plug in. Thank you for your review! Some things we can control - others we cannot. Before this weekend, it wasn't dry enough or warm enough to have our seasonal outdoor pool open. Can you believe just a few days ago it was 30 degrees at night with snow flurries?! I'm sorry you missed opening day for the pool. Our seasonal outdoor pool runs from NLT June 15 - Labor Day weekend.
