I booked this hotel for 5 days stay. I had to check out next morning. They said they are doing renovation. Nothing in the room. No hanger, iron, and room was dirty.

The ceiling was leaking and the bed looked messed up with dust on the furniture. When asked to move rooms was told there were none available. When my family and I went to walk out they said they had a room. Poor service and when I called to complain they hung up on me.

Ceiling was crumbling. Smoke detector was ripped off wall hanging absolutely dirty, dirty furniture, not clean at all. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy to stay at this hotel. Gave this hotel brand a horrible name.

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable
This modestly priced stay was all we needed. Yes, the facilities are dated, but the room was clean, and the desk manager was helpful. There was also an indoor pool that was available. The bed was a little firm for my taste, and the breakfast was simply cereal, waffle, or oatmeal. No hot foods like eggs, etc. Even so, I ate my fill of Frosted Flakes! No real complaints. We just needed a place to sleep and this did the trick. We would stay again.

Screens torn, windows damaged, water damage in hallways, mold smell, missing or damaged drywall, ourtside mattresses by dumpster and upkeep of outside was poor, missing awnings. People were polite and friendly, bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable.

It was a good place to stay for the one night we needed it. The carpet could use a vacuum cleaner, and there were some pieces of garbage laying around. Room was comfortable otherwise. Bed was good, we did not try their breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE. BED BUGS! We caught one and showed management. Management does not care. They will not refund you. I had to contact Expedia to even get somewhere with these people. Dirty. Run down. Disgusting. Rude management. Night clerk was polite when we checked in cause the first room we had you almost fell through the floor. So she immediately gave us a better room. Except the new room had B E D B U G S. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This property was $350 a night. The room carpet was very dirty, the walls where gouged with huge paint scrapes and there where water stains on the hallway wall. I took pictures because I couldn't believe it. The room is worth about $50 a night.

DO NOT stay here.
Run down, filthy, over flowing toilet…this place should not be on the Hotels.com app. The only good point was the lady at the front desk. She was as helpful as she could be under the circumstances.

Run dont walk.....
I do not usually give a review but I could not let this one slide. I was very disappointed with this hotel. First thing was walking into the Lobby, the odor of mold and mildew was awful! I should have turned and ran! Second, our room was not a King bed, it was 2 queens. Third, the ceiling was water marked and the walls dirty. Fourth, it had not been dusted, and lastly, the toilet seat was no attached on one side and had some kind of black mold looking stain on the under side of it. I should have complained or even left, but the other hotels in the area were all booked. We had already traveled almost 500 miles and were exhausted. I know better now, and we will never stay here again, nor will I recommend anyone else to stay here.

Even though I needed to take a bath after driving from NY, none of the rooms had a workable tub, except for the suite which cost me $100 more. If I had known this, I would have stayed elsewhere.

1st room had sock and a pad behind microwave, microwave was dirty. Moved to another room and the sink handle wasnt fastned down with a screw so it would fall off when you turned the water on, found another dirty sock by one off the beds.load exuast blower in the bathroom. 4 people staying in room and they only supplied one baby soap and a baby size shampoo big enough for one person. No cups by sink to use for brushing your teeth.

This property was terrible it ha roaches, bed bugs, filthy walls and bedding. There was nothing in there that was cleanly enough to touch the towels were even filthy. My grandson had a swim party for his 4rth BDay and the pool was filthy with a thick ring around it like a dirty bath tub...I was so disgusted with this this place it was horrifying. The only reason I didn't leave and get a refund was because I booked the room through EXPEDIA and the reservation had already started so they wouldn't refund any of my money. That being said I will never stay at the RAMADA of Decatur/Forsyth, Illinois and I would not recommend any one else to stay there either.

the pool tiles appeared dirty. The pool ladders were old and too short. As a senior I had difficulty getting out of the pool. The dining room was very nice. The expectation to not take food to the room when the room has a fridge and microwave was odd and the manager kept eyeballing us.

I found two bed bugs when preparing for the evening, reported this and left the hotel without staying the night. I told the clerk but did not receive a refund for my stay. The first bed bug was found ~7:30pm going across my pillow. I then switched to the other bed and saw a bed bug crawling in the sheets. I squashed both bed bugs, took a photo and brought them to the desk clerk. I checked out ~7:45pm and went to a different hotel for the night since I didn't want to get bitten overnight or have bed bugs get into my luggage. At least room #208 needs have a solid pest extermination

When I pulled into the parking lot it was boxes of something at the front door. And then I continue to check in and the employee was sitting back in some office/run like she didn't see me there. So I got her attention and she came a checked me in. I went to me room to look it over and the floor was dirty like it needed to be vacuum. And I didn't have any wash clothes in my room at all. So I went to the front desk to report it and the lady said you don't have any wash clothes I said no and the floor is nasty. She stated that she will get me some wash clothes and that's all she said. So I left out for a couple of hours and came back she had the washcloths at the front desk so she gave me two. I proceeded to my room and I got off the elevator and it smelled like Marijuana I immediately started coughing because it was hard for me to breathe due to I have asthma. I reported that nothing got done. Then I go in my room and their was a roach crawling around. And showed then the video and nothing was done. I won't be staying at this hotel every again.
