Good location and in good condition. Staff were clueless , service was inept and was bery overpriced. Paid additional for a balcony room to be then told to keep the door closed due to monkeys. Bed was comfortable but shower was poor. Gym was very basic and not all equipment worked and couldn’t use the steam room without having a SPA treatment.

This hotel is best property when you want to visit Mussoorie. It is located right at the entrance of mall road and all the tourist destinations are close by

The property needs renovation. The rooms have become quite old and flaky, and even if cleaned, they look messy. The morning breakfast staff seemed rude and tired. Staff at the reception too was quite cold, and unwelcoming.

Mixed bag stay , seen better Fortune properties
The maintenance of property has deteriorated, lot of broken furniture and outside panels were visible. Non view rooms does not mean that people need to see LPG cylinders and garbage lying around which what the case was from our room. Lack of communication between front desk and room service as both shared contradictory information. Room service denied serving dinner in room whereas front desk stated we could order. Breakfast options were not great in first two days and service was not that great or should i say planned.

Enjoyed my Trip .....
It was wonderful staying in Fortune Grace hotel. The staff are really very helpful n courteous. Though the property needs an upgrade but overall it's pleasing experience. Location of the hotel is at Library Bazaar n you can reach Mall road by walking 15 minutes which is quite convenient. I would recommend this hotel for stay.........!

Perfect location, Beautiful Overlook, Convenient
We had a great stay and were pleased to find such a great location with good food and friendly staff. The views are a wonderful overlook towards the Dehradun Valley and sufficient parking. We loved being able to enjoy a nice walk down Mall Road from the Ghandi Chowk entrance and enjoyed the evening stroll, feeling safe in the environment is a plus.

We enjoyed ourselves as this was a much needed getaway. A complimentary upgrade would have been super as the hotel was low on occupancy on the days we stayed.

A Hotel close to the main shopping area.
Ease of accessability as well as ease of parking. The buffet spread for breakfast had many options and taste wise i would rate it as superb.The hotel staff is courteous and helpful. Finally you get value for money because rooms tariffs are pretty reasonable.

there was a group of people, who were really loud and were creating havoc in the breakfast area, it was difficult and scary to sit with my wife. we pay a good amount of money just to stay away from such people and away from such unpleasant experiences.It was extremely disappointing .

Unpleasant stay
We had to move rooms to get a working shower with eventually didn't materialise in any of the 2 rooms so had to go without shower or bath which in my opinion was a disgrace for a 4 star hotel. The complaint was not handled properly. The only good thing about this hotel was its central location if you wanted places to shop and restaurants to eat. The dinning room staff were helpful sufficing your requests.

Good hotel, great location
The hotel is conveniently located on the Mall Road - the hub of all activity in mussoorie. That said, if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful get away - this isn't the place for you. The hotel is usually packed and rarely quiet, owing to its location. Their breakfast spread is good for its price, and so are the rooms/facilities. My room had some dust on the headboard and the side tables - but housekeeping promptly fixed that. The hotel gives you value for your money.

Good property on mall
It is prehaps one of the finest properties located on Mall road. Staff is very co-operative . Restaurant food is amazing. Chefs are professional. Rooms are clean. But negative factors are though this hotel is located on mall rd without any hassle of parking yet it is far away from the happening end of the mall road which is on the other side of mall rd. Secondly this hotel requires a lift. If you are tall you have to watch your head at so many junctions with in the hotel. Overall the positive outnumber the negative factors so I will recommend this hotel for a good stay.

Do not check into any room in the 5 series. The rooms are affected with sound from the dining/ recreation areas. Also, please ensure that there is not group with you during your stay. The hotel will give priority to them over you, the single guest. The food is amazing, but the stay in the hotel left a bitter taste in the mouth for the above reasons.

Below expectations for an ITC hotel
The service at the hotel is horrible. The in room dining invariably didn't have what we wanted to eat per the menu. Rooms are in a bad condition, the floors are wooden but need to be re polished. Overall the stay was nothing like what one would expect from a 4 star hotel. Service wasn't up to the mark, the staff was rude and didn't know what they were doing. It was like most of the waiters have been picked up from dhabas.

Good Property but not value for money......
Fortune Resort is at the tail end of the Mall Road. During my stay for three days, checked other hotels at the Mall road. Was pleasantly surprised with Hotel Padmini Nivas. It is a very good property with heritage feel. Morever it is a Value for money hotel. Fortune, on the other hand is a very good resort with good rooms and excellent service. However, felt it is a bit on the higher side spending approx 8500 per night. didnt feel it like value for money after checking the other Hotels at the Mall road.
