Upon arrival at the hotel after a long flight, and having made the bookings some 4 weeks in advance, we were told that only one room was ready and that we should come back later. Not a good start. After some time we were told that the general manager had moved us to another hotel some 200 yds away called Cabana and we're promptly marched to this address.Arjun is located on a busy, noisey street and looks filthy.Cabana is less busy! Mr Diwan the Cabana manager was reasonably helpful and cheery, but Vijay the general manager has the overall say.We asked to pay our bill by card and we're told not possible.Mr Vijay failed to keep two appointments with us,forcing the settlement of the bill in cash. The hotel has building work of sorts in progress daily which is noisey until late at night. The Wifi is intermittent, but on the last day we were told that they have a second more reliable address.Rooms on the front offer unique suicide full length opening windows with no barrier to prevent you from plummeting to the street below should you sleepwalk, or just decide that you can take no more of this fiasco. More seriously it would prove hazardous to those with young children. To state that 'the staff speak your language here'is not even a half truth. The rooms are damp and mildewed do to incorrect exhausting of the intermittent air conditioning with a smell commensurate with this.Hot water is hit and miss, leaking bathroom equipment the norm
