Before check in I requested a quiet room as I am a very light sleeper. Soon after checking in I realised there was a persistently loud vibration sound coming through my air ventilation duct. I asked to move room and was told somebody would come up to help me move: this didn't happen. I had to request a further two times, before I was moved, and the hotel insisted on removing me immediately while I was about to take a Skype meeting. This was frustrating.
I would not consider this hotel to be 4 star. While the rooms were clean, I had further issues with noise from loud staff using the staff stairwell at early hours and with my bed. The bed was meant to be a double, but was two singles pushed together and this kept "splitting" while I slept.
The room service food at the hotel was delicious, although the inclusive breakfast was poor: food was often cold and not to a good standard.
